Manik's Apartment
Manik pov – here am so tensed and cabir was still lying on the bed like a lazy donkey .Obviously it's the effect of last night's hangover .1 more hour and then my results will be out . There were few missed calls fro mom and dad , I didn't dare to call them again Tension was flowing through my veins and right know I could not speak to anyone clamly in this situation . After the results are out I would directly go and meet them .
I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn't see cabir's flying leg towards my face , which directly hit my jaw and his feet's stinking smell met with my nose , I immediately groaned and pushed him aside making him fall down hard . I really pushed him hard because I could Hear a THUMP Sound when he fell .i don't feel pity on him but on myself that my morning started like this .
Cabir shouts – what the fuck ?
Manik – I should ask you that
Cabir – what has twisted in your garments dude ? morning all grumpy
Manik – its due to you , you kicked on my jaw . And then your feet yukhh its smell was inhaled by my sharp nose
Cabir (holds his head )- Good for you
Manik (smirks)- really , We will later check these words after 1hour when the results are out
Cabir (shocked)- Aren't they after 1 week ?
Manik – nope they will be out in 1 hour .
Cabir – Oh my god

Manik pov – Cabir was now sitting in front of the lappy , our phones have been ringing constantly .we switched them into silent mode . There were several knots in my stomach now .cabir was sitting so was I , he was cursing the web that why the site has to work slowly? I think its that site is slow because everyone is using it now . Finally cabir raised his hand in air as sing of victory .

Manik pov – clicked on the icon view , And I was shocked after seeing the results cabir , he fucking got selected in top college and top of that we both applied for Harvard university . they even accepted his application

Manik pov – I didn't think about this , This was not I wanted, after all the moments I spend with nandini a new feeling rose in my heart every damn time I see her . Its very less time but how she bonded with me inspite of my stupid doings on her ? she was kind to me "I wanted more from her for me" .But if I will leave then this would affect us again right ?? God why do I always have to be in this dilemma situation

Manik – Yes , Cabir I don't know what to do ? One side I have my future and other side I don't wana leave her .its so confusing
Cabir – don't worry take your time , Remember I will be always with you And if by any chance you think to join Harvard then let me tell you . The last date is after "2 days" you have to submit your details and then the fees shit also .

The view was so bliss all the children playing I wish time would have stopped when even I was small .no worries , no tension .I opened my phone and went through the contacts section .I wanted to speak someone who will understand me then nandini's face popped in my brain . the smile quickly formed on my lips , But I groaned internally and "cursed myself" for not having her number .
I just glanced at the phone regretfully ,I miss mom and dad but until I prove nandini and myself innocent I cant enter my own house I need to ask cabir about that rohan guy .
PRIVATE NUMBER calling , I lifted the call , but I was shocked to hear the other person's voice . It was nandini

Nandini pov – people started coming , And everyone held a weird gaze on me. may be because they thought who is this girl here ?? or do they remember my birthday incident . Reminder of it brings pain to me and bit of hate for manik . But where was he ? I spoke to him few hours back , still I could not find him . Is he angry that his father arranged this party even for me ? Is he still jealous that am taking his place ? Will he do today also the same like he did years back ? I spoke to soha and I invited her because it would be rude of me if I didn't invite her . Then she asked can she get her brother I wanted to say no , But I had to say yes because she loves her brother a lot and I cant break her heart .
I definitely hate harshad after seeing his EWWWW chi I don't want to think of it also .Then I saw soha standing there with harshad she was beaming at me with that smile of hers , she ran to me and again choked my breathe
Soha – am so happy for you , we both will be in space
Nandini – I know , But stop with this choking
Soha – ok fine, Harshad bought these flowers for you
Nandini pov – I saw harshad who was having a smile , he was giving me a huge bouquet of red roses .I wanted to throw them at his face , But after seeing the beauty of flowers I hid my intention behind my fake smile .

Soha shouts – no nandini you cant call him bhai , he is my brother and friend to you

Soha pov – Am so happy , that bhai has feelings for nandini .when he said those words I was jumping the thought of nandini as my sister in law .Yes it would be amazing she would be with me all the times. Harshad pov – I missed you nandini . now I will attack on you from front , I emotionally blackmailed soha , so that she could bring us near , I know its bad of me to use my sister and play with her emotions . Nandini pov – where is manik ?
Manik pov – I parked my bike outside a gift shop , cabir said he would join the party late , he had few things to explain with his parents . I saw many gift shops, "yes I was thinking to gift nandini as token of appreciation on her success" , but I didn't knew what to take ?? there were flowers , chocolates , cards , many heart cushion but it was not that I wanted to give her . I want her to remind about me when ever she would see my gift . Then I saw the perfect gift , I know that she will love this gift .
Soon I was standing outside my house , I strode my steps at faster rate and the scene infront of me boiled my heart out . There this harshad was talking with nandini , why she was talking with him ?? why is he with her ? I didn't invite anyone except cabir , then what is he doing here ? My heart broke into uncountable pieces seeing them laughing , I don't know if nandini was laughing fakely but the thought of her laughing with him makes me mad like a bull EVEN IF ITS FAKE . I didn't walk to them I directly went to the drink section and picked a soft drink for myself , as I have to restrain my urge to drink the alcohol . I dont want dad to get mad at me . nandini was looking at me know , she had a worried expression on her face . But I didnt stop
Nandini pov –I was bored to hell , soha was chatting with other persons . This harshad he was sucking the energy out of me with his boring talks , I hate him I don't even know how to fake smile at him . all his talks were about how rich he is , how girls fall for him ? why is he telling me ? I don't care but then I saw manik at the entrance he had a small gift in his hand , I was wondering what it was ? A smile tugged on my lips and this harshad ,he just broke my eye contact .
