Miharu woke up early today. She felt a little bit cramped, just sleeping curled up against a ball. But it was warm. Miharu stretched out her arms, unintentionally punching Kakashi's cheek. He woke up immediately. "Huh?!" Kakashi practically shouted and held his cheek. "Oh! Oto-san! Good morning." Miharu smiled innocently. Always too innocent. "Hey why did you punch daddy?" Kakashi teased. "I did? Maybe I punched you because I was stretching." Miharu said. Kakashi laughed. "Oh well. Good morning to you too!" Kakashi said and pulled off his blanket. The two went downstairs. "Oto-san, what's for breakfast?" Miharu asked. "I don't really know. Do you want a onigirl? I could make those." Kakashi asked as he opened the fridge. "Ok!" Miharu said and sat on the couch.
Kakashi started to make the rice. Miharu sat upside-down on the couch. He prepared the nori. Nothing to do. The television had to do something, Miharu hesistated though. She didn't really know how to switch channels, let alone turn on the television. Even if she did, she thought that it might distract her dad. So she decided to go to the bookshelf. "Oto-san, what's in these books?" Miharu asked as she was taking out an Icha-Icha Paradise book. "Wha-" Kakashi looked up from his cooking. He gasped a bit. Immediately he abandoned his cooking. "Miharu-chan, I told you this. These books are not at your age level. And there are words in these books that you don't know and shouldn't know yet anyways." Kakashi said and picked up the book. "Sorry, forgot." Miharu hung her head. Kakashi patted her head. "Well you remember now. Why don't you watch the television, see if there's anything to watch." Kakashi suggested. "How do I turn on the television?" Miharu asked and handed him the remote. "See this big green button? You press it to turn on the television and you press it again to turn it off. Use these arrow buttons to switch channels." Kakashi explained. Miharu nodded and turned on the television.
The first thing that showed ws an advertisement for diapers. The next thing was a show about ghost hunting. The next thing was how to use a toothbrush. Miharu was constantly changing the channel, looking for something good. She finally found an advertisement that caught her attention. "Learn your jutsu today!!" the advertisement said. Most of the advertisement Miharu didnt see. "Oto-san, what's jutsu?" Miharu asked. Kakashi looked surprised. "Well jutsu is well....it's like a lot of attacks that come from you. I'm sure Iruka would teach you more." Kakashi said. "Akahana-chan said that I would be a good jutsu user because I have a lot of chakra." Miharu added. "So you know what chakra is?" Kakashi looked very surprised. He was even more surprised when Miharu nodded. "Well that's good. That means you know how to control it right?" Kakashi smiled. Miharu shook her head. "Well then, that's why I'm here to teach you." Kakashi said and handed Miharu a onigirl. "Itadakimasu!" Miharu said and bit into her food.
After eating, Kakashi led Miharu to an empty field. "Oto-san, what are we doing here?" Miharu asked. "We're going to train, like real ninjas." Kakashi winked. Miharu got excited. "First, put this bwteen two fingers." Kakashi said and handed Miharu a piece of paper. It was pretty small. "Oto-san, what's this for?" Miharu asked. "It would determine if you have a element affinity." Kakashi replied. "Element what?" Miharu asked. "Affinity. In other words, we'll see if you have any powers." Kakashi sighed. Miharu understood. "First you put this chakra paper between your middle and pointer finger. Then you focus chakra on it." Kakashi explained. "How do I use chakra?" Miharu asked. Kakashi sighed. So he decided to teach her how to use chakra.
After a few hours, Miharu was ready to test her chakra. "Alright. You know what to do with the paper right?" Kakashi asked exhausted. Miharu nodded. She concentrated her chakra onto the paper and let it decide what power she could use. The paper soon became wet. "Oh! The paper is wet!" Miharu said. Kakashi grinned. "You have water powers!" Kakashi smiled. "What powers do you have?" Miharu asked. "Lightning." Kakashi said and demonstrated a few tricks. Miharu's face lit up, she never saw anything cooler. "Can I try?!" Miharu jumped around with excitement. Again, Kakashi taught her what she needed to know. He tried to keep his lesson at a 7 year old level.
"Can you try the trick now?" Kakashi asked, panting loudly. Miharu nodded innocently. "Water release: Geyser!" Miharu performed a hand seal and sure enough, a geyser came out of the ground. Kakashi was proud. "Oh!! Kakashi!!!!" Guy shouted suddenly barging in. "Eh? G-Guy?!!!?!" Kakashi screamed. "Oto-san, who's he?" Miharu asked, kind of nervous. "I'm your dad's rival!!! Konoha's Great Blue Beast!!! Might Guy!!" Guy struck a pose and flashed his teeth. "Oto-san has a rival?" Miharu shivered. "Yes indeed! It's youthful for anyone to have a rival!!!" Guy continued to say.
"So what are you doing out here Kakashi?" Guy asked. "I'm helping my daughter, Miharu-chan, learn some jutsu. She's a water jutsu user. She's really good!" Kakashi proudly said. "I see. I'LL HAVE TO BECOME AN EVEN BETTER TEACHER!! I WILL WIN!!!" Guy declared and struck another pose. He started doing a little dance. Kakashi flinched and sighed, typical Guy for him. For Miharu though, her eye twitched. "Miharu-chan let's go..." Kakashi whispered. Miharu nodded. Suddenly ninjas appeared out of the trees. They all had the same outfits and wore the Otogakure forehead protectors. "Otogakure ninjas!" Kakashi said and pulled out a kunai. Guy joined in. Miharu trembled. Bad memories came. The fire, her friends running away, the blood, everything. It was terrible. Kakashi turned about to see his daughter and noticed she was trembling. Kakashi put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
The Otogakure ninjas attacked without a word. Kunais were everywhere. Lots of fighting. Yes the Konoha ninjas were outnumbered but they fought pretty good. Guy fought hard and Kakashi was like the human shield for Miharu. "Hey look, a kid." one of the Otogakure ninjas pointed at her. The ninja he was talking too smirked. Miharu shivered. "Kakashi!" Guy called out before returning to his punching. Kakashi understood. Unfortunately he was pretty far from Miharu. "Hey, she's a Takigakure kid." an Otogakure ninja said. "Kill her." another one said. An army of Otogakure ninjas headed towards her.
"Miharu-chan!!" Kakashi shouted in a worried tone. He wanted to get to his daughter and help her out. However he couldn't. Kunais were sent flying at his back. He bled in the spots were the Kunais stabbed him in. Miharu was scared, pretty frozen. Her dad was injured, no one could help her, and the memories made her weak. However she had to fight back. "Water Release: Crashing Wave!" Miharu screamed. A pool appeared before her and a huge wave came forth. It smelled like salt straight from the sea. Just like the ocean. The ninjas that were going for her suddenly fell into a deep pool of water that appeared underneath their feet. They were about to get drenched....or drowned. Many were choking on water already. Some was just getting pushed around. Some stood still. One of the ninjas in the pool did some hand seals and made a horrible sound. Most birds flew away, some birds already dead from the noise. Miharu held her ears and screamed. The Otogakure ninjas smirked.
"Lightning release: Electrify!" Miharu said and dipped her finger into the water. Lightning sprung from her fingertip and started electrocuting the ninjas. They all screamed in pain. Kakashi looked up VERY surprised. She just learned how to use jutsu and is able to use it perfectly. And the fact that she knows how to use techniques was crazy, she didn't even learn them. And what was even crazier was that Miharu could use Lightning Release without being taught how to use it. And she could do hand seals! The ninjas were knocked out unconscious.
Miharu felt dizzy and her vision was getting blurry. "Miharu-chan!!!" Kakashi screamed as he ran towards his falling daughter. He caught her just before she hit the ground. "Kakashi your daughter...she-" Guy stammered. "I know. Lightning release. It's crazy, she knows her techniques and she just learned how to use her jutsu. I didn't even teach her how to use Lightning release." Kakashi interrupted. "She's strong!" Guy complimented. Kakashi nodded, proud of his daughter. "When are you gonna put her in the academy?" Guy asked. Kakashi shrugged. "Maybe maybe." he replied to Guy. He looked at Miharu and brushed some hair out of her face. "I should get her home, new jutsu user is tired." Kakashi said and poked her cheek. Guy's eyes started to shed tears. "THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Alright, I gotta become a father!!! It's youthful!!!!!!" Guy declared and raised a fist in the air. Kakashi shivered. "Did it get cold in here or is it just me?" Kakashi continued to shiver. Kakashi left before anything else would happen.
Now at home, Kakashi set Miharu on the couch. She was still passed out. Kakashi had nothing to do so he just decide to grab out a book, Make-Out Paradise. He read and eventually finished the book and went for another. Then another. And another. "Geez, was this how Miharu felt when I was cooking? Wow." Kakashi sighed. He looked at Miharu, still passed out. He didn't want to turn on the television, thinking of disrupting her. So he just went straight to cooking. He wanted to make takoyakis. He started by making the batter for the takoyaki. Miharu wasn't up. He started to cook them. Still asleep. Takoyakis were done, she was starting to wake up but not entirely awake. Kakashi started to worry if Miharu was in a coma or under some illness. He tried to shake it off of him but the thought of it still worried him. An hour passed and now he was freaking out. Every minute he would check up on her, not letting himself do anything else.
Finally Miharu's eyelids lifted. "Oto-san are the Otogakure ninjas gone?" Miharu tiredly asked while rubbing her eyes. Kakashi gasped quietly and turned around almost automatically. "Miharu-chan!" Kakashi cried and pulled her into a bear hug. Miharu's head was burried in his chest. "Geez Miharu-chan!! You got me worried!!!" Kakashi pouted. "I'm sorry." Miharu apoligized. "However, I am pretty proud of you!" Kakashi changed his angry attitude to a nice attitude. "Proud of what?" Miharu asked. "That you used jutsu. I'm still pretty shocked that you could use Lightning Release when you just learned your jutsu. Nor did you learn any techniques at all!" Kakashi said. "I guess it just came to me." Miharu assumed. Kakashi laughed. "OH!!!! TAKOYAKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Miharu screamed and sprinted towards the food. Kakashi looked at her like she was crazy. He shrugged it off though.
"Hey so Miharu-chan, do you want to go to the ninja academy here in Konoha?" Kakashi asked. "Academy?" Miharu tilted her head while chewing on her food. "Yes. In the ninja academy, you could become a real ninja there and get a Konoha forehead protector to prove you're a ninja!" Kakashi said and pointed at his forehead protector. "Will I meet friends there?" Miharu asked. "Lots of friends!" Kakashi winked. "Oh ok!" Miharu nodded. "Alright then. Tomorrow is the first day of school for you then! There's a lot of kids in the class already." Kakashi said. Miharu nodded. "Ok. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight oto-san." Miharu left from her food. Kakashi kissed her forehead. "Night." Kakashi replied and watched his daughter go to his room. "W-Wait..what if Guy goes to the academy....shoot!" Kakashi thought, still trying to keep his calm face. He could imagine his daughter under the influene of Guy. He shivered just by the thought of it. "Be in my happy place...be in my happy place!!!" Kakashi freaked out inside his mind before he fainted on the couch.
