Reader's POV
How long has it been? Three years? No... Maybe it was two. I can never remember. I've been with him since my first year in high school.
I've been dating Daichi for a long time. I mean two to three years is long. Some people can't even keep their girlfriend or boyfriend for a week.
I walked into the gym to find Daichi and his volleyball members practicing. It was exciting to see them play. They were super cool and they work really hard.
But.....
I feel like Daichi doesn't like me...
I could be wrong but we don't go on dates, we don't do anything as a couple. I feel like volleyball is more important to him. I know I'm being selfish but I can't help but wonder if he likes me.
"Sigh..." I sighed.
"What's wrong, [Y/N]?" Hinata asked me. You know Hinata and Nishinoya are just so cute. They're so small, I just want to hug them.
"Nothing is wrong." I lied.
"You Can't Lie To Us!" Nishinoya screamed at me. I stared at them both. The two boys had such serious faces, I tried to so hard not to laugh.
"Nothing is wrong." I was feeling better from the two boys but I was still some what sad. They stared at me, confused. "Well at least you're okay." Hinata finally went back to practice.
I watched the boys practice.
"Come to watch us again?" A voice asked. I turned around to see Sugawara.
"Yeah... taking a break?" I asked him. He nodded, sitting next to me.
"Can I ask you a question...?" I asked Sugawara. He nodded.
"Do you think Daichi likes me?"
"Good question. I really don't know. Why don't you ask him?" Sugawara suggested. I sighed. "Alright, I'll ask him after practice..." Sugawara smiled at me and went back to practice.
AFTER PRACTICE~
"Daichi." I called for him. He stopped and smiled at me.
"Lets walk home together." He nodded waiting for me to catch up to him. I ran up to him but we didn't hold hands we just walked beside each other.
"Is everything okay, [Y/N]?" Daichi asked me. I looked at him. Should I really ask him this? What if he thinks I'm weird, and pushy, or something?
"Um... do you like me, Daichi?" I asked him. He stared at me. I then continued, "Or do you like Volleyball? I-I feel like you don't have any feelings for me...."
He kept staring at me, with serious eyes. With such a straight face. I couldn't really look him in the eye. I mean he's scary when he gets mad.
"You know what, I'm sorry for saying all this.. just forget what I just said, alright?" I didn't want him to get mad at me. If he got mad at me, I think I would cry. That is how much he scares me when he is mad.
"Sorry." I widened my eyes. "W-why are you apologizing!?" I asked him.
"I'm apologizing for making you feel that way. I like you more than volleyball." He reassured me. I was getting teary. He really said that? Stupid me for thinking that. If he really didn't like me, he would have broke up with me a long time ago.
"I-I'm sorry for thinking that!" I apologized, crying.
"Don't apologize, I was at fault." I gave a small smile to me.
"Then for making me feel like some idiot... You have to take me on a date next Saturday." I placed my hands on my hips.
He nodded. "Sure thing."
I placed my arm around his arm. "Now to walk me home."
