Two weeks later...
It's July 5, 2017, I was laying down in bed waiting for David to pick me up. We had a lot to do today, we had our first doctor appointment to see how the baby is doing and we were going to LA to look for our new house. Five minutes later, I got a text from David.
David: *Ava, I'm outside your house*
Me: *Okay, be there in a minute*
I grabbed my purse and my phone and went downstairs. I got in David's car, "Hey love, how are you doing?", David asked while giving me a kiss. "I'm doing good, excited to see our baby", I said.
David started driving, we arrived to the doctors.
30 minutes later...
The nurse called my name, David and I followed her and we went in the room. The ultrasound started.
"Can we listen to the baby's heartbeat?", David asked the doctor. "Yes, of course", the doctor said. We heard the baby's heartbeat, David and I were happy to hear the baby's heartbeat. "Can you see, how long am I?", I asked the doctor. "Yes, in a moment", the doctor said.
Few minutes later...
The ultrasound had finished. We were waiting for the doctor to tell us how the baby is doing.
"Okay, so, the baby is doing fine! And you're 7 weeks pregnant", the doctor said. "Seven weeks? Wow!", David said. "Okay, see you in two weeks", the doctor said.
David and I left the doctors. I was already showing the baby bump. We were on our way to LA to see three houses.
We arrived to LA, and we were already looking at the first house.
"So, what do you think love?", David asked. "Well, this house is pretty small, and it's two floors, I want a house with just one floor because I'm scared something will happen. Like, what if I trip and and I have the baby. Also, it only has two rooms, we should at least have three rooms, don't you think?", I said. "That is true love, good point", David said.
We went to the second house. "Well?", David asked. "I kind of like this house, it's nice, not to small, it has three rooms, but the kitchen is way to small and also the rooms", I said. "True!", he said.
We went to the third house. "Love?", David asked. "This house is perfect! It's one floor, its big, it has a big backyard, it has four rooms, and it's closer to UCLA", I said. "Well, I guess this is it", David said.
We went back home, David came inside with me. We both heard a lot of laughing and talking in the kitchen, we both went to the kitchen. I saw a very familiar back and I heard the voice, "Logan?", I said excited. He turned around, "Hey Aves!", Logan said.
Logan Williams was my bestfriend since Kindergarten in Hawaii. He had a muscular body, green eyes, dark brown hair, and 6'4 tall. He was also, Samantha's crush, we were both in freshman year when she met him, since then they both have been talking. Samantha and Logan were cute together. Samantha had a curvy body, dark brown eyes, brown curly short hair and she was 5'2 tall.
Logan had moved to California because he got a scholarship to Stanford, I was very happy for him. Now we would be able to see each other more often. We spent the rest of the night talking and laughing. It was pretty nice.
We were all going to bed, David was going to tuck me in, before I started going up the stairs, I stopped walking, I felt dizzy.
"Ava, are you okay?", David asked while holding my hand. "Yeah, I'm fine", I said. I stepped on one stair, and everything went black.
