Both Shino and Sakura were walking towards the room where Sosuke was. Shino kept complaining about everything. While Sakura was walking behind him with the book still in hands. Than both when to the door, Sakura closed the book and she and Shino were prepared to enter the room. When they saw the most horrible scene. Sosuke being stab by someone. But not just anyone. It was the guy from earlier.
Both Shino and Sakura weren't frozen at they saw. "Sosuke." Both of them cried. "Shino! Sakura! Stay back! I mean it!"
Then the man said. "Huh! Are those the little gods that you have fate in? I was right they're not much to you at all." Then the man got his sword out of Sosuke's shoulder and it hurts like hell. Both Shino and Sakura were still frozen in place. Then the man was ready to strike again. "So!" Both kids ran towards Sosuke put themselves between Sosuke and the mysterious man. They both were hugging Sosuke. "Shino! Sakura! I both told you to stay back."
Then Shino asked. "Why? What's going on?"
"Why?" The mysterious man asked. "I'm also here wondering why? My family, why are they dead?" The three of them looked at the man surprised. Not really knowing what he means. Sakura then asked. "They were killed?"
Then the man got a bit on his nerves. "Your friend killed them. Just two years ago."
Sosuke then said politely. "You're mistaken, sir."
The man than raised his sword and said. "Your ignorance is false, sir. Or, maybe you killed to many to remember."
Than, Shino took out Murasame to intercepted the man's sword. "Who the hell do you have confused with?" But the man stopped his movements to realized that the boy standing in front of him had a sword out.
"Oh! I'm confused. Huh." He said muckily. "I will never forget his voice. Or his face. Not to mention that smell. Neither one of you smell like a man or a girl to me." Sosuke's, Shino's and Sakura's eyes squirm. With that, Sakura stood up and her aura started to change and some fluorescent vines started to show on her face and arms. (Remember she was still wearing her flower dress) "You're right sir. But I could say the same for you."
The man's eyes started to squirm to. "You two are just like him aren't you." He said will charging at Shino. "Where did you obtained that? And you," He said, while looking at Sakura. "Why do you smell like a fox?" That only a bit angered Sakura has she threw an energy ball at the man. Which he only deflected. Then he strike again. And he deflected another mouvement of sword from Shino and another ball of energy from Sakura. Shino then jumped at him. And the man threw him and his sword at the complete right of where he was standing. Sakura than ran to her brother. "You okay?"
"This force is over. Now," He pointed his sword at Sakura and Shino. "Show me what you really are or the two brats..." He turned to face Sosuke who turned into a dog. "Dog..."
Sosuke than walked towards Shino and Sakura. Only for them to take it in their hands like to protect him. "A dog... No way... Bullshit..."
Than the voice of a woman came in play. "Asakeno, you're done for now." She stood at the end of the church arms crossed. "This man is obviously not who you think he is."
This Asakeno guy said. "He has to be."
The woman the said. "You have an unfortunate tendency to jump to conclusions. At the very least, I suspect the man you're hunting would not scratch flees in his other guys."
Sosuke than said. "Well... that must be the most diplomatic insult I've ever heard."
Sakura than said to dog-Sosuke. "Not now dog."
The Asakeno dude, then put his sword in his stove. The woman then asked Murasame and Akiko who was in her aura form on top of Sakura. 'Murasame. Akiko. Who are those children?' They talked and the woman said. "My child has inconvenienced you. I'm sorry for this. To prove it, I will perform any penance you will ask of me."
"Kokonoe."
Shino and Sakura looked at each other and nobbled of the head. Shino talked for the both of them. "We want you to find something."
"What is it?"
Sakura continued. "It's a small ball. That we left on the mountain, that says duty." Sosuke looked at Shino and Sakura. Shino then said. "People shouldn't try going up that mountain." He looked at his sister who looked at the spirit of Akiko who nodded at her. So she nodded at her brother and smiled at him. He also gotta sigh from Murasame. "We've gotta a feeling you can."
The woman than accepted.

Akane and Kenpachi were at the table reading the news. Kobungo was healing Sosuke bruises. Shino was on the couch playing with his sister's hair while she was sleeping. Than the silence was broken by Sakuraba bragged in the room. "It's horrible, Akane baby. A disaster." He was fake crying at the end a bit or not. "God. You're having morning with lieutenant Inukai. When did the place the two of you gets so close anyway?" He was moving everywhere like a ballerina.
"Come again?" Kenpachi asked confused.
Then he spotted Sakura. "Ohh and look. That little darling is sleeping." He was moving strangely and the volume of his voice was bothering Sakura. "I feel like a daddy looking at her little girl sleep." He was about to poke her cheeks when Shino's hand hit Sakuraba's hand. He was pulling on his shirt and stopped when Akane said. "Just tell us why you're here for."
The guy than got serious. "Yes. Absolutely. The whole village has gone nuts. Everyone's trying to beat each other over the mountain."
"What the hell?!"
Then Sakuraba put the rock that The monkey gave to Shino and Sakura on Shino's and Sakura's jackets. "The little cuties forgot their jacket and this came tumbling out of one of their pocket and I picked it up." He looked at Shino and Sakura who was still sleeping on Shino's lap. "This is gold. Real gold."
Then Sakura woke up. Her head was hurting bad. "Stop yelling like a Madeleine. You're hurting my ears."
Kenpachi then asked. "Shino. Sakura. Where did you two put your hands on that?"
Sakura was still a bit out of the blue. Shino just said stubbornly while putting a hand over Sakura's shoulder and bringing her head to his lap so she can sleep some more. "Does it matter?!" Then he said calmly. "Go back to sleep Sakura." He didn't want his sister to answer. She was still in a 11 years old body, who needs a lot of sleep.
Sakuraba then said. "Well, I say you got it on the mountain."
"So why if we did?"
Sakuraba then argued and wanted them to answer. "Other the fact that the mountain was full of gold mines." Akane than picked up the piece and inspected it. "You still remember that, don't you Akane."
The lady answered. "Once, however nobody bothered to clean up the waste so everything turned into a huge sulphuric acid dump. The man was pretty much untenable until fifty years ago. Supposedly, both the land and underground water would clean by then."
Shino was still thinking while petting Sakura's head. She was already asleep and would be hyperactive in less than an hour. Akane than asked Sakuraba. "Okay, So why did you show this little bundle of trouble to all the villagers?"
"I couldn't help it, one of the military police saw it and after that the panic was on." The man answered. Akane after that was a bit furious. Shino who was still petting his little sister head said something that made a lot of sense and wouldn't be common to say at his age.

Sosuke was back. And Shino and Sakura used him as a pillow. Sakura has just waken up. She started to straight a bit. Before a foul mood hit her. Both Inuzuka siblings were. "You two seem to be in a foul mood."
Shino than said. "We lost your gemstone. They throw us in jail." Sakura than continued her brother's sentence. "And then some chick injuries in a sword fight."
Then Sosuke said. "And who's to blame for all that, both of you keep it in mind?"
Shino then said. "Damn it all! I'm getting her back someday."
Out of no where, Sosuke asked. "Who?"
Unbelievable. Than, Sakura said with a bitter tongue. "That man chick who stab you of course!"
Out of no where. The man chick was there and said to Sakura's ear. "Oh... Man-chick."
Both surprised. Shino and Sakura held on to Sosuke from their sides. They both said. "She's here!"
The man stood back straight. "Like the catbird seat, Shino. Sakura. You're forcing Kokonoe to do you're bidding." Then pointing his finger at him, Shino said. "Why are you even showing your face here, after stabbing Sosuke like that?" Sakura then took Sosuke shirt collar and her hands and said. "Don't just sit there Sosuke talk!"
Polite has he'll ever be. Sosuke said the typical. "Hello."
Both kids said at unison. "That was a little to polite."
Sosuke then asked. "Isn't your name Asakeno?"
The man answered. "Actually Keno, I am Keno Inusaka."
Shino asked still on guard. "What do you want now?"
Keno than started to explained. "Kokonoe was angry to put it mildly she told me to apologize. It makes sense really. A cold-blooded killer would never be a lapdog to two undisciplined pipsqueaks. Sorry, I guess. Can we be friends now?"
Sakura then said out loud. "Who in hell are you calling pipsqueaks?"
Sosuke than said to Sakura. "I think you're missing the real insult Sakura." Both of them cool down. And Shino said. "Tell me. Do you know who that woman is?"
Keno answered. "Kokonoe saves me from death. She's a mother and sister to me. What do you think I need to know exactly?"
Shino and Sakura looked at each other and both sighed. Shino said. "Nothing."

While Akane was away. Some villagers took Sakura, Shino, Sosuke, Kenpachi, Kobungo and Keno with them to Statshed Mountain by force.
Sakura was really tempted to kill them. She was literally fuming in anger. Sosuke put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head.
They were walking. The villagers ahead of the group. And the people with a death experience were behind. They could hear what they were saying.
"It's just like the guys who died. Rain, let off right when we got to the foot of the mountain. A cup of thing working."
"Hey kids! You better show us the right way."
Sakura was pissed. If the guys weren't behind them she would have shut his trap right here and now. Kobungo then said. "So what did they bring us for?"
A villager then said. "Hey, didn't we just pass by that tree."
"Yeah. You're right." The man then turned to Shino and Sakura. "You better show us the right way to go. If you know what's good for you."
Sakura then said with a cold stare. "Get off! It already moron. There aren't any footpaths to show you. So suck it up."
"Damn. The kid's right you know. Well we'll just have to find our own way up."
Sosuke then went to Shino's and Sakura's ear. "There wasn't a problem last time. So what changed. We have you both with us this time. What's up?"
Shino than whispered to Sosuke. "We can't go."
Sosuke than said. "Why not?"
Shino then said. "Because the Monkey Spirit doesn't want humans up here."
Sosuke then said. "The Monkey Spirit, you mean the one who's been so nice to the both of you?"
Sakura then answered. "Yep. Think about. When we first came up here. It was raining like a waterfall. Today, we're trapped in his barrier. So we can't go ahead or go back."
Kobungo than said. "What? What does that mean we're trap in here?"
"Shino! Shino!"
It was Murasame. Than that jerk drill a hole threw the barrier and that broke it. Than the rain started to fall real bad. "So I guess it broke."
"That's why it was dry."
It was raining. Then the villagers said. "It's raining just what I expected from the mountain. Just imagine, if we could bring this water down. And if we find gold. We can even relocate."
Shino then said. "That's not happening." Sakura then said. "All of our plans are about to be interrupted."
The Monkey spirit than showed itself. His aura was different from the other time. He was angry. Furious. His eyes were blood red. He killed all the villagers. Both Shino and Sakura were surprised. They didn't except the monkey helping them and being so kind to him was standing in front of them as a raging animal.
The Monkey spirit was in ragged. But Sakura understood why and she didn't want the others to know because they would freak out. The monkey then attack them with some giant waves of water. Shino pulled out Murasame and Sakura just stood there understanding what mit just happen. Sakura was behind Shino. The monkey spirit was angry to say the least he kept talking about a human child. Than Akane appeared and talked sense into the monkey and explained her reasons.

It was night fall. Shino and Sakura were on the couch sleeping. Kobungo and Kenpachi were on the sofas. Sosuke was placing a blanket over Shino and Sakura. Some villagers came into the church to ask about the mountain. Akane covered for them. Saying that they were here the entire day.
Kobungo and Kenpachi went outside for some justice demon stuff.

It was morning. Shino and Sakura were looking at the massacre outside. The one that Kobungo and Kenpachi made yesterday. They made it rain yesterday.
Shino then asked. "Aren't these demons Fuki and Raiji?"
Sakura then answered. "Sure looks like it. Fuki means demon of the wind and Raiji means demon of lighting."
Then the two were thinking about Asani and his wish and at Akane. Then they both realized that some day both siblings are going to be alone someday. But they don't know if their capable of living alone.
Kobungo, Kenpachi and Sosuke were waiting for Sakura and Shino. And they both got out of there trans when Sosuke said. "Shino. Sakura. We're not gonna make to our train if we don't hurry."
Both Shino and Sakura turned to face them. "We're coming." They began to walk towards them and Kenpachi threw at Shino a bottle. "All right... I just remember. Here."
When Shino opened it. It was MEGU.
"You has it the hole time."
"You're turned to babysit."
"I'm taking off."
"Later, Shino."
"Wait for me."
