"So, I told him 'um, my cat ate my essay?' and he was so mad that he gave me detention. Like what the hell?!" Elle kept talking about her day at lunch. My head hurt so bad, I could not listen to her or anyone. I guess it was because of my lack of sleep. I loved her to death, but I was not in the mood. I had enough on my plate.
Harry was confusing me today than any other day. In the morning, he pretended like nothing had happened. What the heck? He was about to kiss me yesterday, but he was acting differently. He was so quiet about the situation and calm.
I did not tell Elle or even Jay, but I wanted to discuss this with Harry and talk about it. I needed to know what he felt for me, what were his feelings towards me. Were we friends or more?
"Well, I feel sorry for you," I said trying to show her that I was listening.
"Aw, don't! Feel sorry for Sarah," I raised my eyebrows. What was about her?
"What? Why did you just mention Sarah? What happened?"
"What's up with all the questions? Nothing happened, she is just sad because Harry did not go to her house yesterday. He called it off at the last minute. "What? My eyes went wide out of shock. Harry said that she was busy and she had a family night, that was why he did not go. But he lied, he canceled his plans with her. Why though?
"Wait, but he told me she was the one to cancel the plans."
"No, he was the one." I was confused by now. "Wait, Harry was with you yesterday?" She asked.
"Yes, he cam- um," I cut myself off, but I was sure Elle heard me by the smirk on her face.
"Oh my god, Vio! Tell me what happened!"
"Nothing."
"No, of course, something happened."
"No, really! Nothing," She rolled her eyes, she was not giving up. I sighed as I was the one who gave up. "We watched a film until my mum came."
"And?" Should I tell her?
"And, he kissed me." She gasped. "On the cheek, a goodnight kiss like this." I smiled and kissed her cheek giggling. She giggled and hit me, she thought it was something more. Like on the lips, but I wished. I almost had it until my mum came.
"You are horrible." We laughed, but I felt guilty for not telling her. I was thinking about it, maybe she could tell me what to do. But I really needed Harry."Where are Harry and Jay?"
"We are here," I heard Jay from behind me. I turned around and smiled at them, but Harry looked sad and tired. He didn't even return the smile. Did something happen? Did something happen last night?
"Hey, where were you guys?" Elle asked.
"We just got out of the class," Jay said taking a seat next to me.
"Hey Harry, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked him standing up, the three of them looked at me confused. Harry stood up and followed me without asking questions.
"S-Something is wrong?"
"I wanted to talk about yesterday, about mum-"
"Oh, don't bother." Actually, I did not want to talk about mum. I wanted to talk about what was going to happen before she came.
"Oh. Are you okay, Harry?" I asked putting my hand on his, but he pulled it away. "What's wrong?"
"N-Nothing really, I am just tired." He pushed his hair back. "I did not sleep well."
"Harry, can I ask you something," He did not answer so I figured he was waiting for my question. "Did you cancel your plans with Sarah yesterday or she did?"
"Does it matter?"
"Actually, it does." Before he could answer the bell rang.
"See you later." He faked a smile and walked away. I did not know what was going on, but Harry was acting so different and weird. He was so cold. I was going to find it out.

"Violet, it is nice to see you. Come in!" I smiled at Anne and went inside. After school, I decided that I would visit Harry and maybe spend the night with him like yesterday.
"Thank you, is Harry here?"
"Yes, darling. He is upstairs- oh here he is." I looked at the stairs and Harry was getting downstairs with a surprised look. I hoped I was not a bad surprise for him.
"I will leave you both, I am leaving now I will not be gone long. Have fun!" She smiled before she walked out of the door, leaving us alone.
"Violet, what are you doing here?" He asked i confusion as I smiled. He walked towards me and got closer.
"What, you don't want me to be here? I will leav-"
"No! I-I did not mean it that way." I giggled and that caused him to shake his head grinning.
"Chill, I just thought about spending the night at your house this time. I noticed how sad you were so I thought about cheering you up." Then, I got this idea in my head. "Or we could do something else," I said smirking.
"S-Something else. Hm, like what?"
"Something we did before, but a better place. Change your clothes and come with me, I will be waiting for you here."
I hoped I could figure out your feelings tonight, Harry.
