Day 19: Love and War
I'm
Not there,
Because I'm
Here in the dark,
Where everything sleeps.
Sleep tight, for I will haunt
The darkness deep inside you,
Where dreams comingle hand in hand
With nightmares just beyond the edge of
Organic sight and sound and touch and fear.
But do not fear to tread those glooming depths,
For here within your heart, I'll take my
Post on the edge of your heartbeats,
Breathing with you the breath of
Life and love and anguish.
I shall be your shield
Against the storm,
Your sword in
Bloody
War!

A/N: This is actually a double etheree. I've done a few etherees before, but this is my first double etheree. Very different from the other poetic forms I've used.
