Corbyn parked the car and got out. I opened my door and followed him.
We walked up to his door, it was already open.
Corbyn turned and looked at me. He put a finger to his lips as he began to walk in. I followed at a distance.
Corbyn froze at the opening to the living room.
"Hey Jonah, what're you doing here?" Corbyn asked
"Dude she ran out. I don't know where she went or if she's safe!" Jonah said, I could tell he's been crying.
"Jonah, I'm sure she's fine. Don't worry."
"Corbyn you don't understand. I cared about her and she kept pushing me away! I won't let it happen again! I'm done with caring about her!!" Jonah yelled.
I slid into the closet by the door so he wouldn't see me.
"Jonah you don't mean that" Corbyn said
"But I do. Are you with me or not?"
"With you for what?"
"Not protecting her anymore, she'll get what's coming."
"Jonah I can't, and I won't. You shouldn't either..."
"Fine! I'll see if the other boys will help me then!" Jonah yelled as he walked out of the house.
*ding*

You shouldn't have pushed me away
You'll get what's coming
You have earned it
Oh no, this is bad. But what's coming? And why did I earn it?
Corbyn opened the closet and pulled me into a hug.
"It'll be okay, he's not gonna hurt you. I won't let him" Corbyn whispered to me
"Thanks twin'' I smiled
"Come on let's go get some dry clothes and a place to sleep" Corbyn said walking up the stairs.
I followed him into a room, it had a bed with flowered blankets and stuffed animals.
"Uhh Corb...is this your room?" I asked worriedly
"Yeah, why? What's wrong with it?" He answered looking at me
"N-nothing. I just didn't see you as the flower loving type."
"I'm just kidding! It is Ashley's room, my sister." He said busting out with laughter
"Oh okay" I laughed with him
"So there are some clothes in the dresser and that's the bed, obviously. But yeah, just make yourself at home." Corbyn said as he went to leave
"Okey, thanks bean!" I said as he walked out laughing
My first best friend in a long time...wow. This is amazing!
I quickly changed and went downstairs. Corbyn was fixing some chicken nuggets in the oven. He looked up and saw me, he smiled but seemed sad...
"It's nice to see those being worn again" he said with a sad tone and looked down
"Um I can go change them if you don't want me wearing these" I said taking note that these clothes made him sad.
What's wrong with him?
"No no, you're fine. It's just...never mind. The chicken nuggets will be ready soon." He said walking away.
I noticed his eyes were watering.
I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a hug. He hugged back and then broke down in my arms. I rubbed his back as he cried.
"It's okay Corb. Don't cry it's okay." I said while rubbing his back.
"But it's not okay...I miss her" he wailed
"Who? What happened?" I asked
"You'll just leave me like everyone else"Corbyn said turning away from me
"Corbyn, I am your best friend. I'm not ever going to leave you. You're my twin, my other half, now tell me what's wrong so i can help you..." I said pulling him back into the hug
"I should show you first...lets go..."he said as we headed towards the car.
It had stopped raining now.
I got in a buckled up as Corbyn started driving.
About 20 minutes later we stopped. I looked around....
the cemetery...
He got out and I followed. We walked along the grave stones.
He stopped and shined his flashlight on it

I looked at Corbyn, he was looking down...
"A little over a year ago my sister and I got into a fight...I ran out of the house and she tried to follow me. I got into my car and drive away. I was gone for about an hour before I decided that the fight was stupid, so I headed home...w-when I got home....t-there were police cars and an ambulance...m-my sister and chased me out of the house and then when I sped off I guess she didn't look before running into the road...she got hit by two on coming cars, she didn't die when she got hit...she was alive for 27 minutes and 9 seconds after she got hit. The officers say she requested for me to come see her the whole time but i wasn't there... S-she ju-st wanted to s-see me one last time...she died before I could get there..." He said. I didn't know what to do so I hugged him
"I'll never replace her, but believe me when I say this: I will ALWAYS be here for you. Don't ever feel like you need to hide something from me. I'll be like your actual twin, her older sister." I said, he hugged me back tighter.
"Thank you." He whispered
