An alternate universe because why not? I honestly couldn't think of much of a plot idea. I don't really understand how to write an innocent reader so... (And Natsu isn't exactly that jealous but... SORRY)
First thing that popped into my mind cuz I love basketball too! (Playing, not watching cuz every time I watch others, my fingers are literally twitching to pick up a basketball 😅)

~~~ Start ~~~
[Name] sat on the sidelines of the basketball stadium, watching the school's basketball team train.
She sipped on the juice box, her sparkling [Eye Colour] eyes watching the basketball as it was passed between the players.
She could never get bored of watching though she would never be able to play herself. He would rather watch and cheer her friends on.
"Alright, take a break!" The coach called.
[Name] perked up as the entire team walked off the court, heading to where they left their drink bottles.
"Here!" [Name] smiled at Natsu, handing the sweaty boy a bottle that she kept in her cooling bag. "I placed ice in it for you"
"Thanks [Nickname]" Natsu said gratefully taking a large gulp.
"You're welcome!" [Name] sang, placing the bottle back when he was finished.
Natsu smiled, patting her head before going back to the court with everyone else. The other members of the team glanced over at her and waved, to which she instinctively waved back, smiling.
They all almost immediately looked away, causing [Name] to tilt her head in confusion. But she paid them no more mind and continued to sip on her juice.
When she reached the end of the juice box, she hopped off her seat to find the bin outside the stadium. She hummed a small tune as she threw the carton in the bin.
[Name] lingered for a little bit longer, staring at the butterfly that flew by her. She raised a finger and it flew onto it. She smiled beautifully, watching as it flew off, back towards the sky.
As she started to walk back towards the doors to the stadium, a hand suddenly grabbed her wrist, making her look back.
"Do you need something?" [Name] asked, smiling genuinely.
"You know [Name], you're very cute" the boy told her, his grip on her wrist still tight.
"I know" [Name] replied.
"Wait what?"
"Natsu told me when we walked today. And yesterday. And the day before that" [Name] answered for him. "Everyone else says so as well"
"Well, would you like to go out sometime?"
"Sure" [Name] smiled at him. "I'll ask Natsu if he would want to come"
"What?"
"I'll ask Natsu if he wants to come as well" [Name] repeated more slowly, thinking that he didn't hear her.
"Well never mind that then. It's fine..." the boy started sweating, unsure if she was acting or not.
"Are you hot?" [Name] tilted her head, seeing the slight sweat forming on his forehead. She paid no mind to his words. "You should go drink some water"
"Can I drink it from your mouth then?" he asked, his other hand taking her chin.
"That's not very hygienic" [Name] stated, majorly confused as she moved back. "Could you let me go? I want to go watch Natsu"
His grip loosened slightly as he stood there, shocked. Did she just not hear what he said or did she really not understand the obvious meaning behind his words.
"Thank you" [Name] noticed the loose grip and lightly pulled her hand away. She bowed to him before leaving.
She quickly slipped inside the basketball court once again, skipping to the far side of the court. But unfortunately, the boy followed her inside, clearly desperate.
"[Name]! Would you like to get coffee sometime? Just you and me?"
"But I don't really like coffee..." [Name] told him sweetly, not understanding the meaning behind his words. "Sweeter foods are more delicious!"
[Name] sat where she sat before, taking out a small lolly and unwrapping it to pop in her mouth. She gave him a closed eye smile, making him blush.
"Then we can go to the cafe, I'll buy you w--"
He was cut off by a basketball, which landed itself in his face. [Name] blinked and looked to where it came from.
"Whoops sorry, my hand slipped!" Natsu grinned, running over to retrieve the basketball. Though he looked anything but sorry. "You alright?"
"I'll live" the boy hesitantly said, holding his head.
"You should go visit the infirmary for that. I'll take you if you want" Natsu offered, the basketball at his side. "It was my fault"
"N-No. I'll be fine" the boy hurriedly left after seeing and noticing Natsu's glare.
"You alright [Name]?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" [Name] asked with a head tilt.
"No reason" Natsu told her, finding her behaviour cute.
"Hey Natsu! Training hasn't ended yet so get back here! You can talk to your girlfriend later!"
"Got it! Keep your cool coach!" Natsu called back. He looked back at [Name]. "Training will end soon. Don't worry, I'll take you out for cake after"
"Kay! You're the best!" [Name] cheered, popping another lolly in her mouth.
"Thanks" Natsu said, heading back to the where his coach was.
[Name] watched him as he casually apologised to the coach, hand on his head before returning to Gray. She watched them as they bickered for a while.
She couldn't hear what they were saying, but she knew that Gray was teasing Natsu about something. It was quite obvious.
"You were totally jealous with that guy" Gray smirked as Natsu glared at him.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Natsu defended.
"You were clutching that ball pretty hard, I thought that it was gonna burst "
"Shut up Ice Princess! You were more jealous of Lyon over Juvia!"
"No I wasn't Flame Breath!"
"Oi! Natsu! Gray! Are you listening to me or not?!
"Listening!" They both called, crossing their arms.
"Right, so now that Natsu and Gray are listening, I want you to split yourselves up and have a practice match against each other. First to ten points win. Losing team will stay behind and run five suicides"
(Just saying, a suicide here is a type of horrible sprinting exercise or something. I don't like them the slightest bit, especially after you finish training on a hot day)
"Five suicides?! One is hard enough!"
"Are you planning to kill us?!"
"It's boiling outside, coach!"
"You're evil! It's Friday afternoon as well!"
"There's a reason why they're called suicides now hurry up or it'll be ten!"
[Name] watched as they complained, but it did make them more serious about it so it probably worked. She smiled, glad that it wasn't her playing.
After a few minutes, Natsu's team cheered victoriously as Gray's team reluctantly started running. Natsu walked back to [Name] as she handed him the water bottle.
He almost immediately emptied it in under a second and thanked the girl once again before heading to the change rooms. She sat there, waiting for him patiently.
When Natsu was finished and had grabbed everything, he swung an arm over [Name]'s shoulder as they walked to her favourite cafe. Surprisingly, he wasn't that sweaty.
[Name] paid him no attention, since it was a regular occurrence that she grew used to over time.
As they walked out of the school gates, they passed the boy from before.
Natsu glowered at him, pulling [Name] closer to him as [Name] waved, smiling. The boy awkwardly waved back, scared of the pink haired boy.
"Do you know him?" Natsu asked.
"No. But I made a new friend didn't I?" [Name] asked back, eyes sparkling. It wasn't too difficult to imagine flowers and sparkles surrounding her when she said it.
"Yeah but you're still mine alright?" Natsu grinned.
"Okay!" [Name] easily said before blinking. "But what does that mean? I'm me right?"
"Don't worry about it" Natsu ruffled her hair, smiling.
"Kay then"
