Bang has already improved a lot. It's been days since she woke up. She's continuously going through therapy to fully regain her motor skills. She is still in the hospital.
She and her mom just came from the therapy when they entered the room.
"Higa ka muna 'nak. Alam kong napagod ka," said Mama Bha while assisting her daughter to bed.
"Thanks, Ma. What's for lunch po pala? The therapy got me hungry." asked Bang.
"Padeliver na lang tayo. I came here early for your therapy. Hindi na ako nakaluto."
"Ma, I wasn't able to eat good food since I got into coma. Paggising ko naman soft food lang lagi. Ngayon na I'm a bit okay na, pwede bang magpalambing ng luto mo po?" Bang said sweetly.
"Alright. Alright. What do you want to eat?"
"Namiss ko po yung Paella niyo. Could you cook that for me please?"
"Sige, anak. It's 10am pa lang naman. I still have time to cook. Teka tawagan ko si Aly para may kasama ka," tanong ni Mama Bha.
"Huwag na po, ma."
"Bang, mas kampante ako kung may kasama ka," pilit ni Mama Bha.
"Ma, I'm awake already. Hindi na ako kailangan bantayan all the time. Besides, ilang oras pa lang nakakauwi si Aly," answered Bang.
"Sige na anak. I'll come back with your Paella. Stay on your bed. Don't exert yourself too much. I'll go now."
"Thanks, ma. Ingat po kayo."
Mama Bha kissed Bang's forehead and left the room. As her mother closed the door, Bang told herself, This is the right time.
She pressed the intercom and after a few seconds, a nurse came to her room.
"Hi, Ms. Bang. Ano pong kailangan niyo? How are you feeling po?" tanong nito.
"I'm actually okay. I just need a favor from you. Is Dr. Lazaro in already?"
"Yes, Ma'am. I saw her entering her office just a few minutes ago," the nurse answered.
"Really? Could you please tell her that I want to see her? Hindi pa ako nakapagpasalamat sa kanya kasi," Bang said.
"Sige po. I'll see what I can do."
"Alright. Salamat," said Bang with a smile.
Mukhang hindi naman nabigo ang nurse. After a few minutes, someone knocked on the door.
"Come in," sabi ni Bang. Then the woman she wants to see entered the room.
"Hi. I'm glad you're awake," said Den. Nginitian lang siya ni Bang.
"Bakit mo pala ako pinatawag? May kailangan ka ba?" asked Den.
"Have a seat first," Bang said while pointing at the chair near her. Naupo naman si Den.
"I want to thank you. Salamat kasi my mom told me that you did a good job taking care of me," said Bang.
"You were my responsibility. That's my job. I just want to see you well. Anyway, you're welcome," Den said with a sincere smile.
"Alright. Enough with the pleasantries. How are you and my girlfriend?" asked Bang.
"I haven't seen her since the last time I checked on you," Den answered.
"Talaga? Kamusta naman kayo nung natutulog ako?" tanong pa din ni Bang.
From the tone of Bang's questions, alam na ni Den kung saan papunta ang usapan. Nevertheless, sinagot pa rin niya ang mga tanong nito na parang wala siyang alam.
"We're okay. We were able to regain our friendship. Kailangan kasi namin magtulungan for you to get better."
"Friendship. O baka naman more than that?" said Bang.
"I'm sorry?" sabi ni Den.
"Why did you decide to stop being my doctor? Umiiwas ka ba?" tanong pa din ni Bang.
"I don't think I get you, Bang."
"Don't play innocent with me, Dennise. I may not know everything but I know something's going on," Bang said.
"Nothing's going on, Bang," insisted Den.
"I was awake! I was wide awake. Gising ako nung huling gabing nandito ka."

Gising nga siya nung mga panahon na iyon. Nagising si Bang ilang minuto bago dumating si Aly. She tried opening her eyes but the lights hurt them. She decided to keep her eyes closed.
Pinipilit din niyang isipin kung nasaan siya. Kung anong nangyari sa kanya. Hindi siya nagpanic. She's always the cool and calm one during games. Even outside the court nadala niya ito.
She remembered the accident. She felt the tube connected to her hand. Naramdaman din niya yung oxygen mask. Hospital. Right. I'm in a hospital. Naisip niya.
Suddenly, someone entered the door and walked directly to her. "Hi, Hon." This someone kissed her forehead.
It's Aly. Gusto sana niyang dumilat na pero natigilan siya dahil amoy alak ito. We got caught in an accident and here she is drinking? Tanong niya sa sarili niya.
Kung kanina kalmado lang siya. Ngayon medyo naiinis siya. She doesn't know how long she's been out and the least that she wants is to have a fight with Aly. She decided to calm herself first.
Someone entered the room. Binati ni Aly. Familiar yung boses nito. Bang thought. She felt someone approached her. She still pretended that she's asleep. Gusto niyang si Aly ang unang makausap niya.
Den has done enough for Bang to realize that her doctor is checking up on her. Nagpatuloy naman mag-usap ang doktor at si Aly. Nabanggit nila si Dzi at si Ella. They have the same set of friends. Sabi ni Bang sa sarili niya.
The doctor then said mamimiss niya si Bang at Aly. Sino ba talaga ito? Until nabanggit ni Aly ang pangalan nito.
Bang kept on listening. Habang nakikinig siya, narealize niya na mukhang napatawad na ni Aly si Den. All of a sudden, the room became quiet so she opened her eyes. What she saw hurt her so she decided to just close her eyes again.
She heard Den left the room. Naramdaman niyang lumapit si Aly. Her girlfriend just kept on apologizing to her. Though she's hurting, Bang endured the pain. Hindi pa siya handang kausapin si Aly.
The next day, she decided to act like she doesn't know anything. She felt Aly's sincerity. She thought that if Den's out of the picture, then wala ng magiging problema sa kanila ni Aly. She wanted to make sure of this kaya kinakausap niya ngayon si Den.

"I heard everything. Medyo hindi ko naiintindihan ang mga sinasabi niyo. Pero what I saw told me everything," sabi ni Bang kay Den.
"Yes. I saw you kissing. At sa harap ko pa talaga," dugtong ni Bang.
Hindi makapagsalita si Den. She doesn't know what to say and she has no plans of lying. So tinanong na lang niya si Bang, "If narinig mo lahat, then you must have heard that I told Aly na mali ang ginawa namin. So ano pa bang kailangan mo sa akin?"
"Mahal mo pa ba si Alyssa?" asked Bang.
"I know alam mo kung anong isasagot ko diyan."
"I want to hear it. Mahal mo pa ba siya?" pamimilit ni Bang.
"Yes. Mahal ko si Ly," Den said.
"Sabi ni Mama malaki ang utang na loob ko sayo. Pero hindi ko hiningi sayo na alagaan ako. Kung pwede nga lang sana hindi na lang ikaw. You are Aly's accident," Bang said.
"Mahal mo siya and from what I saw, mahal ka pa din ni Aly. Pero I'm sorry Den. I can't and I won't let her go," continued Bang.
"You don't have to worry. Wala naman akong balak manggulo, Bang."
"So, are you really leaving?" tanong ni Bang. Tumango lang si Den.
"Maganda ng malinaw, Dennise. Aly will forget about you and I hope ganoon ka din."
"Malinaw sa akin lahat. Is there anything else, Bang?" asked Den.
Bago pa sumagot si Bang, someone entered the door.
"Hi, hon!"
It's Aly and she's carrying a bouquet of flowers. Natigilan naman ito ng makita si Den.
"Den. Hi," greeted Aly.
"Hi, Ly. Sige, Bang. I'll go ahead. I hope for your speedy recuperation," Den said.
"Salamat, Den. For everything," sabi ni Bang.
Palabas na si Den ng sabihin ni Aly, "Hatid na kita sa labas."
Nagulat naman si Aly sa sarili niya. She misses Den. Hindi niya ito nakita ng ilang araw. Inisip ni Aly na it's for the better. Na mag-iwasan sila. But everything changes kapag nasa harap na niya si Den.
"I think she knows her way out, Hon. Huwag mo ng guluhin si Dr. Lazaro," sabi ni Bang.
Natauhan naman si Aly. Den left the room.
