Demi's POV
Alex was crying and I held onto her I couldn't believe Wilmer did that and the fact that he didn't tell me about this made me furious I kept holding onto Alex and I feel someone pulling on my shirt and it was Jeremy
"Mommy is Momma okay.?" he said in his little voice Alex let's go of me and she kneels down and she wipes her eyes and says
"Yeah Momma is okay baby boy she just felt a little sick that's all don't worry about a thing." she said to him
He hugs her and kisses her cheek and says
"Don't cry momma did I make you feel better.?" he said
Alex giggles a little and says
"Yeah I do I feel a lot better thank you baby."
I turn around and Wilmer is still standing in the doorway frozen I forgot he was even there Alex get's up and holds onto Jeremy's hand once Jeremy looks at Wilmer he hides behind Alex and then Wilmer kneels down and says
"Jeremy....son.. it's okay I'm your dad...you don't have to be afraid little guy i-it's okay." Wilmer said with tears in his eyes
Jeremy wouldn't go with him I think he was afraid of him seeing that he made Alex cry I wouldn't blame him. He holds onto Alex and I really tight and I whisper to Alex
"Let me talk to him okay I mean he does need to have a father figure in his life believe me I always my real dad to do that for me Jeremy needs to know trust me."
Alex looks at me shocked but she soon lets it go and she realizes I was right she looks at me and nods her head I hug her and whisper into her ear
"Thank you baby."
she gives me a small smile and I kneel down to Jeremy's level and I hold his hand and say
"Jeremy..Honey that's your daddy and he really wants to meet you he misses you a lot don't be afraid baby he won't hurt you." I said
"But h-he made momma cry I-I'm scared" he said
"Shh baby it's okay look momma's all better see." I said pointing at Alex
he looks up at Alex and she smiles and giggles at him making him smile and I said to him
"So are you ready to say hi to daddy.?"
he nods his head and he walks over to Wilmer once he's face to face with him he gently hugs him Wilmer has tears in his eyes as Jeremy wraps his tiny arms around his neck Wilmer hugs him back and I look at Wilmer and mouth to him
"You have 5 minutes"
He nods his head and he walks inside and they play in the den Alex sits by the steps of the stairs and she has her head down I walk up to her and I sit next to her and I wrap my arms around her and she puts her head on my shoulders and I can tell she's holding in her tears
"Baby it's okay I'm here now just let it out." I said
she holds onto me and bury's her head onto my chest and starts sobbing
"It's okay hey..hey look at me I'm here just let it all out baby." I said she looks at me and she says
"It's killing me knowing that he had the choice to kill me if I hadn't woken up I wouldn't be here with you or with Jeremy or with everyone I care about I would have been ripped away from you..." she said
My eyes were tearing up she was right if she hadn't woken up in time she wouldn't be here with me and Jeremy wouldn't be here either I hug her tighter and say
"You're here now and it kills me too but look it just proves that you can get through anything especially after everything you've faced you can fight through it all." I said
"I love you Demi.." Alex said
"I love you too Alex." I said
we kiss and it get's passionate and as it got deeper we heard a crash coming from the Den we stopped and we ran towards the Den
"What's going on in here.?" yelled Alex
"Sorry I accidently knocked this over while we were playing catch." Wilmer said
"Oh okay Jeremy say goodbye to dad he has to go now." I said
"Bye daddy."
"Bye son I'll see you soon." he said
Alex's POV
"Bye son I'll see you soon." I knew I was going to see Wilmer again even more often now that Jeremy is here
"I'll walk you out..." I said
"Oh..Okay." he said
Demi looks at me and she has a worried expression on her face I turn around and once we're out of sight Wilmer holds my hand again
"Have you made up your mind.?"
I open the door for him and he steps out and he says
"Alex...please say something."
"Nope not yet...."I said and I slam the door in his face and walked away I walk towards the window and he walks towards his squad car and he looks at me I walk away and I see Demi and Jeremy playing with his cars
"Alex are you okay.?" said Demi
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Are you sure did he say anything to you.?" she said
"No he didn't it's fine."
she gives me a worried look and I just smile at her and say
"Baby it's fine there's nothing to worry about."
"Okay...I believe you." she said
I walk up to the den and we played games throughout the entire day until it was nightfall we decided to sleep under the fort we built and watch movies for a bit after the first movie ended Jeremy fell asleep and we smiled and said
"Awww" really quietly
"Babe let's take him to bed." Demi said
"Alright let's be careful up the steps though."
Demi's POV
Alex and I carry Jeremy upstairs and place him gently on his bed and put the covers onto him I gently kiss his forehead and so does Alex we quietly walk out of his room and we walk into the hall I grab Alex's arm and she looks at me and says
"What's wrong Demi.?" she asked worried
I walk closer to her face our lips inches apart
"I wanted to tell you something..."
"What is it Demi.?"
"That I miss your hands on my waist when we kissed...naked on the bed remember that baby." I said as I bit my lip
I grab her by her face and I kissed her passionately and she holds onto me tight as the kiss gets deeper and more passionate I wrap my legs around her waist and she carries me into her bedroom landing on the bed I rip her shirt off and she takes off mine I kiss her neck leaving her love bites she moans each time I kiss her sweet spot. We take off all of our Pjs and we held hands the entire time I missed having her this close to me let alone her making love to me she was gentle, passionate and sweet we made love to each other on and off for 3 hours and we just lied next to each other my head resting on her chest she plays with my hair and I said
"I can't wait until our wedding day."
"Me neither I can't wait to walk down that aisle and seeing you in that gorgeous dress and the moment when we say our vows and when we say I do and I can finally call you my wife." she said
I smiled at her and I kissed her lips and I snuggled against her chest and said
"I can't wait for that too I'll be lucky to have you as my wife." I said
we held onto each other as we fell asleep in each others arms hearing her heartbeat when she's next to me makes me fall for her more because she makes my heart skip a beat when she kisses me, hugs me even when she looks at me she's my...my soul mate.
*The Next Day*
Alex's POV
I wake up with Demi next to me and it's early school doesn't start till 8 and it's 5:30 when I tried to go back to sleep I feel Demi's hand caressing my back I turn around and say
"Aww sorry baby did I wake you.?" I said
"Yeah you did and I was having an amazing dream." she said in a play full voice
"Aww sorry babe is there anything I could do to make it up to you.?" I said
she bites her lip and she rubs my thigh getting closer and closer to my center
I bite my lip and tilt my head back as she rubs me hard I look at her and she has a smirk on her face I smirk back and she grabs my face and we're making out again we end up making love on and off again for almost 2 hours until we finally stopped to catch our breaths
"Baby we're going to be late." Demi said trying to catch her breath
"Ugh I don't wanna go can we just call in sick." I said
"The both of us baby.? ahah I wish we could but c'mon the day will go fast if we hurry." Demi said
"Ugh fine! ahah" I said laughing
Demi changes into her shirt and sweatpants and so do I then she looks at me and she has a evil grin on her face and I smile and say
"What.?"
"Oh...nothing just this." she said and she threw a pillow at my face and she runs out the door
"Oh I'm so gonna get you for this!" I said
I hear her laugh from downstairs her laugh is honestly the cutest laugh ever I walk down the hall and I check on Jeremy to see if he's in his room he wasn't he's probably already downstairs with Demi. I walk into the kitchen and I see Demi feeding Jeremy some cereal
"Open up Jeremy here comes the airplane verrrroooom!" Demi says
Jeremy opens his mouth and eats his cereal he smiles and claps when he finishes making Demi laugh too I walk in and Jeremy and Demi see me and Jeremy's eyes light up and he says
"Momma! good morning!" he says
"Hahah hey Jeremy good morning what are you eating baby.?"
he lifts up a piece of a cheerio and says
"These and they taste good." he says
"Aww that's cool baby can I have one.?"
he nods his head and he gives me one and he smiles and laughs when I pretend to bite his finger and he says
"Momma my finger isn't food!"
Demi laughs and she walks up to me holding a plate of eggs
"Aww baby did you make breakfast.?"
"Yeah hope you like it baby." she says as we walk towards the table and she kisses me on the cheek. I take a bite out of the eggs and they were delicious
"Oh my god Demi these eggs are amazing."
"Thanks baby." she says smiling
after we're done with breakfast we shower and get dressed
"Alex what about Jeremy.?" said Demi
"Don't worry I got a babysitter for him you know Mrs.Channing down the street.?" I said
"The old lady that gave me the lemon squares and the knitted sweater when I first moved here yeah I know her." she said
"I asked her to babysit Jeremy while we're gone she use to babysit me when I was his age so we can trust her and c'mon she isn't that old."
"Haha really she looks 65 and do you know what time she's coming.?" she said
Right when she said that the doorbell rings
"There she is and she's 57." I said laughing
I open the door and Mrs, Channing walks in and says
"Hello Alex how have you been look at you graduating from high school it seemed like just yesterday you were walking out this door on your way to preschool oh where has the time gone." she said
"I'm good and I know I'm excited anyway if you need us you can call us both emergency numbers are on the counter and you can help yourself in the kitchen my home is your home." I said
"Why thank you sweetheart." she said
"Jeremy we're leaving come say hello to your babysitter." Demi said
"I don't want you guys to go."
"Aww Jeremy but we have to go to school don't worry we'll be back before you know it but in the mean time Mrs.Channing is here to spend time with you." I said
I see the tears in his eyes but I kissed his forehead to make him feel better and he did I remember having that exact look on my face when my parents worked a lot but I knew I was going to spend all my hours with Jeremy no matter what and I knew Demi felt the same we kissed him goodbye and we walked to my car and drove to school. I park my car in my usual spot and help Demi get her bag out and we walk to her classroom right when we walked in the bell rang and we heard running down the halls and it was Jennifer,Perla,Jolene and Hailey and they all smiled and Jennifer said
"Alex you're glowing and so is Demi what have you two been doing.?" Jennifer says with a smirk
Demi and I both blush and once the whole class started walking in we took our seats, Demi gets up and writes our journal for the day and she writes "What is one thing you want to say to someone before you graduate.?" I wrote a couple of things for my friends but I know we're going to be together no matter what after we're done Demi says
"Okay who wants to come up." she says as usual Jennifer goes up and she says
"I want to say to my friends is I love you guys so much and as we step out on that stage let us remember our years together and let it out on that stage together forever I love you guys." she says
"Aww" we say
"That was beautiful Jennifer pick someone to go next." Demi said
"I pick Hailey." Jen said My heart dropped when she said Hailey, lately we haven't been what we were before because of all the things that she did and the fact that she almost broke Demi and I apart was hard to deal with especially after she almost tried having sex with me she gets up and says
"One thing I want to say to someone well to 2 someone's actually is that I'm sorry for what I've done before in the past I look back on it now and I'm disgusted with myself for the way I've been acting I lost your trust and our friendship because of what I've done and I'm truly sorry for everything I said to you. I'm sorry that I lied...I'm sorry that I said all those awful things to you and I'm sorry for all the hurt I've cause I know you won't forgive me can you give me a chance to make this right.?" she said as her eyes were filled with tears
Demi and I look at each other in shock and disbelief and Demi says
"T-thank you Hailey for that you can take a seat." Demi said
Hailey sat down and once class was over everyone left the room except Demi and I
"Wow I didn't expect her to say that." said Demi
"Me neither she looked so broken I've never seen her like this before." I said
"What should we do.?" Demi said
"What can we do how do we talk to her about this I don't think we can." I said
Then we heard a knock on the door and it opened and it was Hailey standing in the doorway with tears in her eyes and she said
"Alex....Demi...can I talk to you guys please...." she said
We didn't know what to say or what to expect I hold onto Demi's hand and I expected the worst...
