Weeks had passed since Logan and Virgil had shared their first kiss. The two had been on plenty more dates, and although affection wasn't something either of them were very fond of they had gotten a lot more comfortable being around each other. Now when the two sat beside each other when they went out with Patton or at his house it was normal for them to be touching each other in some small way. Sometimes one of them would have an arm wrapped around the other, and other times they held hands, or just sat with their shoulders touching, feeling perfectly content just knowing the other was there.

Logan was at lunch with Patton, thinking about their relationship. He felt happier than he had ever been before, and he felt really glad that he had agreed to become friends with Virgil. As he was thinking of him his gaze drifted over in Virgil's direction, watching him, Roman, and Archer.

Usually, Virgil was very quiet around the two of them. Logan rarely ever saw him talking to them, and that's why he was surprised to find Virgil doing exactly that. He looked angry, and it seemed like the three of them were arguing. Logan frowned, narrowing his eyes as he peered over at them curiously, wondering what was going on.

Suddenly, one of them pointed over at the table he was sitting at, and they turned to him. Logan quickly looked away, gazing around the room to make it look like it was an accident he had been looking at them. After a few moments he glanced back, seeing them once again arguing and not paying him any attention.

Logan frowned more, forcing himself to look at the table in front of him instead of the three of them. He didn't want to get caught again, and make Roman and Archer wonder why he was staring. Instead, he wondered if he had something to do with what they were arguing about, and if maybe Virgil had finally told them about their relationship.

Logan didn't see Virgil after school that day, both of them having other things that they needed to do. He said goodbye to Patton as they exited the school together, and the two of them went their separate ways. The rest of that evening Logan kept thinking about Virgil, wondering why he had seemed so angry with Archer and Roman.

It wasn't until the sun had disappeared from the sky that Logan heard from Virgil again. He got a text, and was quick to open it up, worried about him.

Virgil: hey. i know it's late, but is there any chance you could meet up with me? i've had a pretty shitty day, and i wanna see you

Logan: Of course. Where would you like to meet?

Virgil: the park? i'm already here.

Logan: I will be there shortly.

Logan quickly got ready to leave the house, sneaking out and beginning the walk to the park. He moved as quickly as possible, wanting to be with Virgil to make sure he was okay, hating that he was upset. He also desperately wanted to know if this was caused by the fight between him, Roman, and Archer, and if it had to do with Logan. He would hate it if he were somehow the cause of his boyfriend's distress.

Logan arrived in just a few minutes, finding Virgil sitting on the same bench the two had sat at when they got together. His head was back, staring up at the night sky that had filled with stars. Logan watched him for a moment, smiling.

"Hey." He spoke quietly, stepping up to the bench as Virgil looked up at him, startled.

"Oh. It's just you." He sighed, gesturing to the seat beside of him for Logan to sit with him. Logan did so, taking Virgil's hand in his own as he went back to looking at the stars. Logan joined him a moment later, staring up into the sky and sighing.

Silence fell between them as they sat together, neither of them wanting to ruin the peaceful moment. It went on and on, until finally Logan's curiosity got the best of him, and he spoke up in a whisper. "So... is there a reason you had me sneak out of the house this late?"

"Yeah," Virgil nodded, sighing. "But I was trying to avoid it."

Silence fell again, and for a while Logan wondered if he would ever get an answer from Virgil. Then, he heard yet another sigh and Virgil started to speak. "It's just... not been a great day. I don't really know what else to say."

Logan nodded slowly, squeezing Virgil's hand comfortingly. He hesitantly spoke again. "Does it... have anything to do with your argument with Roman and Archer at lunch today?"

Immediately, Virgil froze up. He sat up straight, turning to Logan and frowning. "How did you know about that?"

"I saw you... You looked angry. What were you arguing about?" Logan questioned, looking at Virgil worriedly. Virgil looked away from Logan, closing his eyes.

"It was nothing. I don't want to talk about it." He muttered, and Logan frowned.

"Did it have something to do with me? You kept looking over at me and-"

"I said I don't want to talk about it, Logan." Virgil snapped, taking his hand out of Logan's and hiding his face with it. Logan immediately stopped questioning him, falling silent and wishing he had never said a word. Silence fell again, but this time it wasn't comfortable or calm.

"I'm sorry." Logan said after a while, unable to bear the tense silence any longer. "I did not mean to upset you more. You don't have to tell me anything, but I am here for you, Virgil."

"I know you are," Virgil whispered, shaking his head and taking his hands away from his face. He glanced over at Logan, cringing. "Sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you. You were just trying to figure out what was wrong... Thanks for coming out here for me, even though I'm an asshole. I appreciate it."

"I'll always be here for you." Logan assured him, wrapping an arm around Virgil's shoulders to pull him into an awkward hug. Virgil leaned into him happily, mumbling his thanks again. The two fell into another peaceful silence, holding each other close as they once again looked to the sky.

"Do you like stargazing?" Virgil asked Logan quietly, looking over at him. Logan looked back down at Virgil and nodded.

"Yes. I have always loved it. And you?" He asked, still staring at Virgil even as he went back to looking at the stars.

"Same here." Virgil nodded, a hint of a smile on his lips. "I don't know why. The stars are just... really nice."

Logan nodded in agreement, still keeping his focus on Virgil instead of the sky. The stars were definitely pretty, but his boyfriend was way better. Virgil didn't even notice, continuing to talk in a hushed voice. "Would you ever want to go to space?"

"Definitely." Logan nodded, smiling. "I have always wanted to. Would you?"

"Maybe. It sounds kind of scary, but... I think I'd like to. Space is pretty cool." Virgil said, Logan hummed and nodded. Virgil finally stopped looking at the stars to see Logan staring at him, cheeks turning pink. "What? Why are you looking at me?"

"Am I not allowed to look at my boyfriend for no reason other than I think he's the most attractive thing I've ever seen?" Logan smirked, Virgil scoffing at him.

"Oh, come on. What's the real reason you're staring at me?" Virgil asked, grinning back as Logan shook his head at him.

"I am being honest. That is my only reason." Logan smiled, pulling Virgil closer to him. Virgil rolled his eyes but leaned into Logan anyways.

"Whatever you say." He laughed, Logan shaking his head at him. Logan began to lean in slowly, glancing at Virgil for a moment. When he nodded Logan leaned in the rest of the way, kissing Virgil. Virgil returned the kiss, sighing happily.

When they pulled away they still stayed close together, foreheads touching as they looked into each other eyes. Both had smiles on their lips, and Logan leaned in again to leave a short peck on his lips. "It's getting cold out. We should probably get home soon, and get some rest..."

"I don't wanna leave you," Virgil complained, holding Logan tighter. Logan chuckled, kissing him again.

"Well, why don't I walk you home then?" He suggested, taking Virgil's hand. "Then, once we're both home we can text until one of us falls asleep."

"Fine," Virgil reluctantly agreed, standing up with Logan. Even as they stood and walked he leaned against his side, not wanting to be any further from him. Logan laughed at this, letting go of his hand and instead wrapping his arm around Virgil's shoulders.

"Alright," he nodded, kissing Virgil's forehead. "Let's get home, then. And hey... if you ever need me, just call me, alright? I'll be there." He told Virgil, still worried about him. He still didn't know what had been bothering him before, and he just wanted him to be okay.

Virgil nodded, smiling over at him. "Okay. Thanks."

The two of them kept grins on their faces as they made their way to Virgil's house, talking about any little thing they thought of. They both simply enjoyed spending time with one another, and when they made it to Virgil's house they were both disappointed to have to leave each other. Remembering their agreement to text until one of them fell asleep made them feel slightly better about it, but they both still enjoyed being with each other.

Logan sighed as he made his way home by himself, wanting nothing more than to stay with Virgil, holding him in his arms all night.

I really need to stop losing sleep just to update this I'm going to make myself sick oops-
