Chapter 13
Star's P.O.V
i opened my eyes to the feeling of being walked about on, suddenly this lizard's face popped up in front of memaking me smile
"morning Tia"
i chuckled and watched as she continued to wander about, i managed to slowly sit up, i looked about remembering i was in jays flat. I picked my phone up of the floor and saw i had 4 new messages. i opened up the first one
Mum - tell me when your coming home sweeite, im getting worried xxx
i quickly typed a reply
Star - sorry mum, i sorta fell asleep, i'll be home soon xxx
i sent that and opened up another one
Tom - please talk to me star, im sorry i screwed up, love you missy xx
i sighed and clicked reply
Star - its fine, im still upset about it but we'll speak later, love ya too tom-tom xx
i sent that and looked at the next one
Nathan - hey.. can we talk please?? xx
i sighed and didnt know what to say so i looked at the last one
Nathan - guess not.. x
i paused, there was a gap of about half an hour between the messages, i looked at the time, it was only 7 and was stil fairly dark outside, i clicked reply
Star - we can talk, just not now.
i sent that and put my phone back on the floor, i knew he would reply straight away but i didnt really want to speak to him yet. in fact the more i thought about him the more terrible i felt, i held back the tears as i pulled back the blanket and picked up neytiri.
I slowly began to walk upstiars, i could hear a faint noise and proceeded with caution. When i reached jays room i slowly opened the door and looked in, he was still fast asleep half on the bed, half off it.
I smiled and walked over to him, he was snoring lightly and his curly hair was everywhere. I put neytiri down on the floor and she crawled under the bed, before slowly pulling back jays sheet. He stirred but stayed asleep as i climbed in with him and snuggled into his chest.
He jumped slightly but relaxed when he realised it was me, he moved over so i could get comfortable, he fidgeted about even more until we were lying next to each other anf our faces were level, he gave me a faint morning smile and i gave him one back
"you ok twinkle-toes?"
i nodded slowly but then shook my head
"nathan text me this morning"
i felt his body tense up so i put my head on his chest and shook my head
"its fine, it was nothing bad, he just wanted to know if me and him could talk"
"and what did you say?"
"i said yeah but not now"
he nodded slowly, a yawn slipped out of my mouth and jay did the same, we both laughed adn he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer
"whats the time?"
i snuggled into him and buried my head into his neck
"just gone 7"
he nodded into me and sighed heavily, im guessing he was heading back to sleep, i yawned again and closed my eyes, i guess i was going back to sleep again too.
Jay's P.O.V
i woke up for the second time and felt star stir next to me, i could tell she was asleep and i didnt want to wake her up but my belly kept grumbling. I slowly slid my arms away from her and pulled myself out of bed, i did a few quick stretches and looked back down at her, she did look cute when she slept, i smiled to myself and picked up my phone, 3 new messages.
max - is star ok? you two didnt come back, getting worried bro
i smiled and clicked reply
jay - shes fine, i took her back to mine n shes asleep now, dont tell nath or tom though
i sent that and opened up the next one from jayne
jayne - look after her jay, i trust you xx
i smiled proudly and looked down at star asleep, she stirred and rolled over on her side and stretched out her arm, i chuckled and clicked reply
jay - shes fine, i promise i wont let her get hurt xx
i sent that and opened up the last one
Nathan - i know i am... please just tell me shes ok though, genuinely getting really panicy now, can i come over and explain? i know you might hate me but i need to talk to someone
i paused and sighed before clicking reply, after all he was still my best mate.
jay - i still think it was harsh... but fine, come on over then
i sent that and walked over to my door, i knew it would take nathan about two seconds to arrive so i decided to go downstairs. I glanced at star one last time before walking out and slowly closing the door.
I trundled downstairs and began to sort out the lounge after last night, i had just loaded the dishwasher when the doorbell went. I went out and opened it to see nathan standing there, lo9oking like an absolute wreck!
His eye was still black and purple but his nose looked a little better, even through his bruise i could see his eyes were bloodshot showing he had no sleep and was sick with worry. His face was white and he was wearing a pair of dirty trackies and a hoodie, the hood was up and he had just pulled off a pair of sunglasses.
I gave him an apolegitic look and opened the door further and allowed him to come through, we walked into the lounge and instantly paused dead in our tracks.
Star was standing there looking at us, her eyes froze on nathan and his did the same, i sighed and slowly pushed him forward before heading back to the door.
"i'll leave you two to talk, i'll be right outside if you need me"
they nodded and star gave me a 'thank you' look, i nodded before walking out and heading up to my room to get changed.
Nathan's P.O.V
Jay had left and we were standing there in awkward silence. i had absolutely no sleep last night because i was sick with worry about star, literally i threw up three times.
I looked up slowly, she was still as perfect as i remembered, even though her hair was everywhere and she was wearing jays trackies and hoodie, i decided to break the ice
"you look good"
she shrugged and looked at the floor before back at me
"i wish i could say the same"
the harsh words slashed through my heart, i guess this is how she felt, i paused before speaking again.
"im guessing a sorry wont help situations"
she shook her head
"no... no it wont"
i nodded slowly, understanding completely. I had been a cock and she had every right to blank me out like this
"i guessed that"
my voice trailed off and i looked up at her slowly, she was looking away and tears were falling down her face, my heart felt like it was being ripped out of my chest and i was being left to suffer. I tryed to walk over to her and opened my arms but she quickly stepped back and her protection guard shot up, she raised her hand to stop me
"jay!"
she shouted out, actually looking petrified like i was going to hurt her, jay rushed in and nearly tripped over, he looked between us and saw that she was crying. He rushed over to her and enveloped her in a hug, i watched as she buried herself in him and managed to look over at me, jay looked at me apoligetically but i just shook my head and trned to walk out.
I heard him shout my name but i didnt stop, images of star crying and stepping away from me kept running through my mind. God it was so painful, i headed out into my car and started it up before driving off. Tears were coming down my face as i found myself heading onto the motorway, i had no idea where i was going but i just needed to drive.
Jay's P.O.V
i heard my front door click and i realised that nahan had left, star had finally stopped crying and i pulled away slowly to look at her, i brushed any tears away from her cheeks and she gave me a weak smile so i smiled back
"you ok twinkle-toes?"
she nodded slowly and took in a deep breath before nodding again
"perfect, i guess all things heal with time"
i nodded slowly but could tell that it wasnt what she really wanted
"i know star, i know but think about it babe... is that what you really want?"
she paused and looked at the floor before shrugging, we stood in silence and i realised that she might not want to talk or think about it, i sighed before putting my hands on her shoulders
"anyways lets go have some fun yeah?"
she looked up at me, pain and hurt flowed out of her face, i sighed adn looked down at the floor, she lifted my face and gave me a weak smile
"where to?"
i grinned at her and made a funny thinking face
"cinema? park? shopping? your choice"
i made a girly voice when i said shopping and her beautiful laugh filled the room, she wrapped her arms around my waist and i returned her hug before we pulled away and i smiled at her
"so twinkle-toes? where to?"
she paused for a moment, thinking. I smiled cheekily and stepped back before standing really camp and flicking my hand about
"how about we go shopping girlfriend?"
she burst out laughing again and nodded slowly
"oh definately girlfriend" she returned the girly voice and waved her hand about. We both burst out laughing and i offered her my hand
"lets go get you some better clothes then yeah?"
she nodded and took my hand, we walked up to my room and i slipped some shoes on before offering her a pair
"they might be a bit big but they should do till we get back to yours... providing you want to go back?"
she nodded and took the shoes, slipping them on. We both headed downstairs and out the front door after i grabbed my car keys.
Star's P.O.V
I must admit even after all the girly shopping trips ive been on my day with jay has definately been the best one. We spent the rest of the morning there, brought lunch then stayed the afternoon.
We pulled up at my house and climbed out of the car, jay helped me carry all my bags to the door, we went through and went into the lounge then paused.
Max, tom, siva and nathan were all there with mum discussing work things. They all looked up and mum sighed
"so you wre with jay, honestly you two, guesome tuesome if you ask me, didnt you get our texts?"
we put our bags down and pulled out our phones, we both looked at each others and saw that we had alot of missed calls and texts from everyone asking where we were.
I looked over at nathan who was still looking at the floor, he still looked terrible, he looked up and tryed to give me a weak smile but i looked away, a pang of guilt hit me but i shook it away as max moved over and opened his arms out for me
"come show your hot older brother what you got then"
i giggled and plonked myself down next to him and began showing him some of the stuff i got, jay went to the kitchen to make a drink. I was showing everyone what i got and they were all giving me their opinions except nahtan who was sitting there quietly, looking down at the floor but quickly glancing up whenever i held up another item.
Once i had shown them all my new stuff my mum looked up at me
"why dont you go put them all in your room then?"
i nodded slowly and stood up and attempted to pick up my bags, it was difficult as all my clothes had been taken out and were all packed differently. Tom jumped up and gave me a hand, i hadnt spoken to him properly since i ran after slapping him and that text this morning so i took a wild guess that he wanted to say sorry properly.
We picked up all my bags and headed upstairs into my room, once we were there i dropped my bags and tom did too, i turned to face him
"thanks for that, theyre really heavy"
he chuckled and shook it off
"nah its fine, look we need to talk"
i nodded slowly and he began
"im sorry i beat up nathan and hurt you in doing so, i just got so frustrated with what he did, i know you probably hate both of us because we had a huge fight over something that was quite small... please forgive me star?"
i paused and looked at the floor before looking back up at him, his eyes showed him pleading for me to accept his apoligy and to forgive him. A massive smile suddenly appeared on my face and i found myself rushing to him and leaping into his arms, he held me tight and lifted me off the ground and gently spun me around and i giggled before he placed me back down and smiled at me
"i do love you missy"
i smiled and gave him a kiss on the nose
"i do too tom-tom"
he smiled and we had another quick hug before he pulled away
"you never said"
i looked at him blankly
"did you like your suprise?"
i smiled and nodded before giving him another hug
"it was perfect tom-tom, thank you"
he smiled and hugged me back before pulling away
"now... are you going to tell me whats the latest between you and flyboy?"
i paused and took his hand and led him over to the bed, we both sat down and i proceeded to tell him everything, from staying at jays, to nathan coming over all the way to coming home with jay after our shopping trip.
Once i was done i sighed and brushed away all the tears and looked up at him
"thats definately something"
i stared at him confused but he just carried on
"i can actually see it all properly now"
i smacked him on the head lightly
"see what?"
he just ignored me and carried on smiling cheekily and sort of staring into space. I waved my hand in front of his face and he just winked before rushing off out the door, i bolted after him and didnt stop until he had stopped in the lounge and i went smack right into his back, i rubbed my nose and walked over to the sofa and sat down, max gave me a hug and poked his tongue out
"see? she needs a good max hug when you whack her on the nose"
everyone started laughing and even nathan chuckled a little. I decided to play along again and hugged max tightly, tom started to fake cry and went over to siva, who shook his head and folded his arms
"as if mate"
everyone continued to laugh and even nathan was properly in tears of laughter, we all were. Tom poked out his tongue and walked over to where nathan was sitting, he squeezed himself between nath and the sofa edge before looping his arm around naths neck and whispering something in his ear, nathans eyes widened adn he looked up at me. oh god tom you are so dead. Tom finished what he was saying and we all eventually calmed down and they finished their meeting.
I stayed for some of it but halfway through i walked out and went upstairs, i had taken a shower and gotten changed into my pajama shorts and strap top before walking around my room, i decided to put on some music and ended up choosing Wretch 32 & Ed Sheeran - Hush Little Baby. It was my favourite song at the moment and even though i had lost mine it made me feel closer to it for some reason.
i wandered around my room, my fingers running through my hair until i stopped in front of my mirror, i stared at my reflection and sighed, a few tears fell down my face and i brushed them away and pulled my hair into a scruffy bun. I allowed my hands to trail down my body and i rested them on my belly.
"it looks better down"
i turned instantly and sighed when i saw nathan standing in the doorway, i hated the thought but he still looked like a tramp even though his hotness was still there clear as crystal.
His hair was unwashed and uncared for, his clothes were dirty and ripped. I sighed and opened my mouth to say something but nathan realised this and rushed over to me, placing his hand on my mouth.
"look i knw you'll probably kick me out your room and i was rong to come up here after the way i treated you like crap so i dont blame you and i know you probably wont even listen to this but i really am sorry. I dont think ive ever felt so crap about anything else in my life, i was stupid and selfish and you were innocent and caring and i changed that and i dont actually think i can go on knowing i hurt the most precious thing to me in this world.
It was the worst this i could have done, putting you through that after everything else youve gone through, your definately one of the most strongest and beautifulist girls ive ever met in my entire life and thats saying something because ive met so mant girls and had so many offers but i always turned them down because i was waiting for the right girl. I always tell people i dont believe in love at first sight but jesus star if it wasnt love what felt when we first met then i actually beg the lord to tell me what made my heart skip all those beats and made me feel like i couldnt even speak, i guess i never really had the guts to tell you this because i thought youd stare at me like i had two heads but the main reason i had to tell you now was because...

he let out a massive breath and i raised an eyebrow and watched as he regained a bit of air, he looked up at me and the blank look on my face stayed put

i sighed and took a deep breath
"well i was going to say thank you but wow... not what i was expecitng"
he chuckled and looked at me in disbelief
"so you werent going to say get out?"
i shook my head and laughed
"why would i say that?" he was about to speak but i put a finger on his lips and leant closer
"why would i say that when i love you too?"

he paused and before i could do anything else, even think, his lips had crashed down onto mine and they were moving in sync already. I trailed my hands up to his head and played with the back of his hair, causing him to groan and kiss me harder, his hands roamed my body before he grabbed my legs and i jumped up wrapping them around his torso, his manly hands gripped them rtight, as he almost fell over but ended up pushing me against the wall.

His eyes looked like they popped out of his skull as he raked his eyes over what he was seeing, his mouth was hanging open and i smiled cheekily before walking up to him and pressing myself up to him and raising a hand to close his mouth.

he nodded eagerly and smiled
"very, very much"
i smiled and wrapped my around his neck and he gave me a kiss on the nose as his arms returned to being wrapped around my body. Before i could do anything his arms moved and he looped me up so i was being carried bridal style, i laughed and gripped onto his neck tigheter, he carried me over to the bed and placed me down before climbing on top of me, he started kissing my belly before bringing his lips higher and higher.
The song Bed Rock by Young Money & Lloyd came on and nathan looked up to me from kissing my neck and breasts to wink and smirk cheesily

i giggled and raised an eyebrow sexily
