Asami POV
Asami: "It's almost noon. Has anybody seen Korra?"
Pema: "Well, she hasn't slept much in the past week. But I guess she should start to get ready for the celebration though."
Jinora: "Why are they having the celebration without M/N? I mean he saved all of us."
Ikki: "Yea! That's not fair!"
Pema: "Well, it has been 10 days now since the fight and he still hasn't woken up."
Asami: "I'm going to go wake Korra." I say walking to her room which had been moved down next to the kitchen. *knock**knock* "Korra? Are you up?" I open the door further and see another figure in the room. She's sleeping on their chest, and I see whoever it is has an arm wrapped around her. I open the door fully to let the light in and see... "M/N!?" I see them both startle awake.
You: "Wha? Who?"
Korra: "I don't want to." I hear Korra mumble.
Asami: "You don't even know what I'm here for."
Korra: "Raiko's party, M/N doesn't want to go and I'm tired." Why does she act like such a 5-year-old sometimes?
Asami: "Nope, your both going. That's final."
You: "I'm still asleep. I might wake up right after the party though." I hear Pema walk up behind me.
Pema: "Is there a problem?"
Asami: "Yea, neither one wants to go to the party, and M/N is acting like a baby."
You: "I'm 17 just so you know." I hear him mumble. I see Korra sit up though.
Korra: "Your 17?" I see M/N nod confused. "Huh, I never thought I was older than you."
You: "How old ar-" He's stopped when Korra's palm connects with face.
Korra: "Never ask a lady her age!" I hear Pema laugh.
Pema: "Well, now that your both fully awake you should start getting ready." They both groan.
You: "But I don't wan-"
Pema: "Mister, you are living in my house! If you want to continue to stay I suggest you go get dressed!" M/N groans again but stands. "Good, there are clothes in your room for you to change into." M/N nods and walks out. I turn back to help Korra begin getting ready.
*TIMESKIP*
Your POV
Pema: "Awww. You look so handsome!" Yea, thanks Pema.
You: "Do I really have to wear this?" I look down, dress shirt and shoes, neither were very comfortable. Those, along with some black pants, which were extremely warm considering it was summer. And on top of that, I had a black suit jacket on which definitely wasn't made for 85-degree weather either.
Pema: "Yes, and you look so dashing in it." I hear Jinora and Ikki giggle behind her.
You: "See, even they think I look stupid." I say gesturing to the two of them.
Pema: "No, they're laughing at your hair. Which you obviously haven't done yet." I look back into a small mirror. Yikes, ok so it was pretty bad. Pema leads me to the kitchen where she wets it down then combs it back. I look in the mirror again, I don't really like this look either. She leads us out and to the courtyard of the temple. "We'll wait here for Korra, then we'll head over to where the ceremony is taking place.
You: "Wait, the ceremonies on the island?" She nods.
Pema: "We don't want Korra to have to travel far." I nod, understanding why. Then I hear a voice.
Raiko: "Ah, so you must be the foretold dual bender." I turn back to see him, I can already tell I don't like him.
You: "So, why does that matter to you?" He seems a bit confused yet angered.
Raiko: "I am the President of Republic City. You should learn to watch your tongue around me."
You: "Shut up. I don't care who you are. Korra has asked for your help multiple times, and you never did." He seems to go quiet after that. A few minutes later Korra and Asami appear.
Raiko: "Hello, avatar Korra." She nods back to him. I see all the kids run over to her, and they make their way by Raiko, Pema, Tenzin, Kya, Sue, and I. Then I hear Raiko. "She looks horrible." What!? What did he just say?! I release my claws and everything now has a white ish tint again. I turn around and walk right up to him. I put my claws right under his chin.
You: "Who the hell do you think you are? If you ever, and I mean ever say something like that again. You have no idea what she's been through. How about I take your ability to walk away huh?" He takes a step back. I take a deep breath and contract my claws. I open my eyes and everything's back to normal color again. I turn to Raiko. He looks like he just crapped himself. Then I feel it, oh god what is this? 'It's the poison. It was never extracted from you!' Oh, well this is gonna suck. I fall onto my knees and clutch my sides. Then puke out a mixture of blood and some silver liquid.
Pema: "M/N!? M/N what's wrong?"
You: "Sue? Where's Sue." I hear steps behind me.
Sue: "I'm right here M/N. What's wrong?"
You: "The poison... It's, it's still in me." I hear her gasp.
Sue: "Oh gods, none of us considered you were still poisoned after you came back! Ok, just lie on the ground and try to relax." I lie on the ground and feel something begin to move around. Next thing I know I feel something coming up and out of my mouth.
Asami POV
Korra, the kids, and myself were about to enter the ceremonial room when I hear M/N scream. I see Korra turn to me with a frightened look on her face.
Korra: "Hurry! We need to go see what's wrong with him!" I push Korra back to the top of the stairs and see M/N trying to stand. He finally stands and I look around to see a large puddle of silver liquid near him. A few moments later I hear Korra gasp.
Asami: "Korra? Korra what's wrong?" She points slowly towards the puddle of liquid.
Korra: "That's poison. He's had that much in him the entire time." I now notice how large the puddle of it was, it must have been close to 5 feet wide. "That's way more than what was in me. And I can't even walk anymore. How is he standing?" I see M/N standing gingerly looking rather pale. Then he coughs to his side and starts walking up to Korra. I see her eyes bulge out of her head when she sees him walk up the stairs to meet her.
You: "Korra? Everything all right?"
Korra: "H-how are you walking? Or even breathing? With that much poison in you... You should have died in minutes." M/N seems to think for a minute before responding.
You: "I uh, I guess it just has less of an effect on me, I have been poisoned many times before." She thinks about this before nodding. He smiles at her then walks past us. "I, uh, don't really know where the ceremony's taking place." He says scratching the back of his head.
Korra: "Don't worry, I didn't either." She gives me a gesture to start moving again and we walk up next to M/N. "So, did it hurt?" He gives her a confused look.
You: "Uhhh, did what hurt?"
Korra: "Falling from heaven." He rolls his eyes.
You: "Nah, I crawled up from hell." Oh wow, he walked right into it.
Korra: "Oh, so that's why you're so hot." I hear M/N laugh so hard he starts choking.
You: "Did you come up with that on your own?" I see Korra nod proudly, obviously knowing she didn't. "Well, are you an earthquake? Because you just "rocked" my world." I hear Korra laugh, it's good to see her at least somewhat happy. "Get it Asami? Bec-"
Asami: "Because you're an earthbender I know I know, really funny M/N." I see him make a pouty face at me.
You: "I thought it was pretty funny." He says crossing his arms.
Korra POV
The ceremony was going as planned until I hear some of the girls in the crowd giggle. Then I hear M/N yawn. I turn around and see that he had taken off his jacket and dress shirt revealing his bandaged torso.
Korra: "M/N! What are you doing?!" I whisper loudly to him. He looks down confused.
You: "Hey, it's almost 90 degrees in here, and all these people in here just makes it even warmer. Plus, I'm a firebender, so I'm "naturally hot." I see him smile proudly and his pun.
Korra: "Can you at least put a shirt on, people are looking at you." He looks up then down back to me. I hated being in this stupid wheelchair. Then he smirks at me.
You: "Oh, I think your just "jealous." What!? Me? Jealous?
Korra: "Of who, all the girls drooling over "my" boyfriend, no, not jealousy, anger." He just laughs. Right in the middle of Raiko's speech. He looks over sternly to me and M/N.
Raiko: "Mr. L/N. Would you like to say a few words?" I hear M/N stop laughing. I look up and see his expression go from shocked, to purely mischievous.
You: "Sure." He says walking up to the mic. "Hello everybody. Now, I'm guessing everybody's getting bored of ol' rulebook over hear." He says pointing his thumb towards Raiko. "So, and I don't know why he asked me to say this. But Raiko would like to invite everybody in this room over to his house for a celebratory party!" I hear the crowd cheer. Then I see Raiko, and couldn't help but laugh at him. I swear smoke should be coming out of his ears right now. M/N turns to me and smiles. I couldn't help but laugh a little myself, even in my current state M/N could still make me laugh. Besides how selfless he was, his sense of humor was something I loved most about him.
Your POV
I loved seeing her laugh. It always made me feel better whenever I saw she was having fun.

Your POV
We were all saying goodbye to Korra before she went back to the Southern Water Tribe.
You: "I'll be down there in less than a month ok?"
Korra: "M/N, I appreciate the thought, but you don-"
You: "Korra." I kneel down in front of her. "I want to help you. You've helped me more than you know." I say smiling. She nods, but I can tell it's something more than just her not being able to walk. We say our goodbyes and I stay on the dock until the ship disappears into the horizon.
*TIMESKIP*
Your POV
Gaea: "Get Up!" I jolt awake and see Gaea, in her normal misty white form, standing in front of me.
You: "What?"
Gaea: "Your healing abilities have been restored." I look down to see all the wounds were gone, leaving some pretty nasty scars behind though. "Your training starts now." What?
You: "What do you mean training?"
Gaea: "I am going to whip you into shape. Pack some supplies, and meet me at the top of that mountain." She points out the window. I nod and she disappears.
You: "Uh, ok?" I pack a small bag and take off towards the mountain. It's around dawn when I arrive. "Ok, so we're going to get me into shape. That's all right?"
Gaea: "No, were going to get you into "extremely" good shape." Uh oh.
You: "Ok, so I'm going to be out here for...?"
Gaea: "10 weeks of training. Then you may go back." What!? 10 weeks!?
You: "I told Korra I'd be down there in less than a month!"
Gaea: "M/N, just tell her you had to figure something out. Ok?" I sigh and nod, knowing there's no arguing against it. "Alright, we'll start with 50 push-ups, then we'll go for a mile run to start light." I nod. Well, here we go. The sooner I'm in shape, the sooner I get to see Korra.
