Aurora's Pov
I walked through the dry sand underneath the blistering hot sun. My hooves were hot and a little cracked from the heat and my feathers were all dried up instead of the usual feathery feeling. My mane was a complete mess and I was completely thirsty.
"Saving Equestria hahahahaha oh look maybe this guy knows which way to go" Pinkie spoke, grabbing a skull from the ground as sand poured out of the eyes and base and a tiny bug crawled over her face. "What's that friend. We're lost hahahaha" Pinkie laughed, placing the skull next to her own head before throwing it away, coughing, going on her tiptoes with a smile and collapsing into the sand.
"How long have we been walking for again, my feathers are completely dried out" I panted, my hair getting in my face. "Could be going in circles, endless sand. Nothing for miles except sand and this rock *Cough* and this cactus *Gasp* and this road" Spike spoke, sweat dripping off of his scales, a cactus in his tail as he collapsed into the stone road. "This road" he added.
"A road" Twilight spoke up after Spike said that and walked forward. "Where there's a road there's a-" She stopped once she saw something over the hill. I walked forward to see a town not to far away. "Cool" Rainbow spoke. "What is that" Rarity added.
"Ohh a city. We are doing it you guys" Pinkie spoke happily after leaping out of the sand, her hair perfectly fine once again. "You know what they say. Where there's a city. There's a spa" Rarity yelled, her hoof flicking her messy hair back for a sec.
"Who says that" Rainbow asked. "In case you've forgot. We're on a mission to save Equestria" Applejack added. "I can multitask" Rarity replied. "I wonder what kind of markets they'll have. Maybe I can find some more books or some new art and writing equipment" I spoke happily, using my right wing to style my main back to normal.
After a while of walking, we finally reached the town but what I saw wasn't exactly what I expected. There wasn't even any Ponies and everything was way bigger than we were which was a little scary. "Oh. Hey you with the horn. You sell'n" Some weird guy with tusks asked Twilight as we walked by. I made sure my wings were folded as I didn't want to lose them on this trip.
"Hi there" Twilight spoke to another guy. He put some barrels on a cart but they fell off "Oh I'm sorry, let me help you with that" she added, using her magic to levitate the barrels back into the wagon. I felt eyes watching me and turned around to see an emerald eye staring at us.
I gulped, a little uncomfortable and turned back to the others. "Hey, no messing around my merchandise" The guy Twilight just helped yelled as we all ran away. What do you expect though. He's like two or three times bigger than us.
Capper's pov
I watched as the pastel coloured ponies were walking around. I spotted the purple one levitate some of the barrels that had fallen. The guy got mad and yelled at then as they ran.
"Very interesting" I whispered to myself, watching them. Then my eyes landed on the light blue pony with purple on her and a ginger and yellow mane and tail. She seemed to be very nervous and was looking around in fear. I felt my cheeks heat up as I watched her while she followed her friends.
Aurora's pov
"Okay we just gotta stick together. Be careful who you talk to and try to blend in" Twilight spoke. "That'll be kind of hard seeing as we are bright colours and everything here is really dull" I replied before facing straight ahead when I heard Pinkie yell. "Can I have your attention please"
She was standing in the road, trying to get the attention of the different creatures. "Can anypony take us to the queen of the Hippos" Pinkie asked as a fishman stopped walking. "You want something. You gotta give something" he told her before Pinkie leapt into his arms. "Well, how about a big warm hug from a grateful pony friend" Pinkie replied before being dropped by the guy. "How about this comb that I've never used" Pinkie asked another one of these creatures while coming from the sky which I didn't even know was possible for an earth pony although she fell to the ground a couple seconds after.
"A picture of my sister Maud" Pinkie asked another while holding onto they're shell and a picture of her sister. "This breath mint. Seriously buddy. Help me. Help you" Pinkie spoke to a pig like guy while holding a breath mint before the guy breathed in her face and she collapsed from the bad smell. "Pinkie, you can't just take off and you don't need to announce to every-" Twilight started but was interrupted.
"Relax Twilight, I've totally got this" Pinkie spoke before we were surrounded and I was getting really uncomfortable now. "How much for the giant Gecko" One of the guys asked, pointing at Spike. "Who you calling a Gecko" Spike asked, pointing back at them. "Ugh, Spike isn't for sale" Twilight replied, taking a step in front of him. "I want that fancy purple hair. I'll give you two stone bucks for it" another added. "Two stone bucks. Its worth more than that" Rarity replied to the confusion of Twilight and myself.
After a while of these guys wanting to buy us, the same feline that had been watching us before came and was talking about how we could infect them and splashed some purple liquid onto one of them. After they left, he turned to us.
"You... were.... AWESOME!" Rainbow announced, flying over to the feline. I just looked at him and couldn't help but continue to stare into his emerald green eyes. "And so charming too" Rarity added, laughing all bubbly. "Well charming's my game" He smirked and looked over to me as I felt heat rising to my checks, placing my ears down.
He walked over and bent down to pick up my hoof. "And what's your name princess" He asked looking into my eyes. "Ugh I'm Aurora. Aurora Feathers but I'm not a princess" I replied, feeling a little uncomfortable. "Well why don't all of you come back with me. Oh and I'm Capper by the way" Capper replied, taking a bow with one paw in front of him. "Okay" Pinkie laughed and jumped forward but Twilight stopped her.
"I don't know if we should trust him" Twilight spoke, her wing still up. "We could defiantly use a friend out here" Pinkie replied while Capper used one of his claws to push Twilight's wing down. "You know what. Little Cotton candy here is right and if I do say so myself.........
This town is not a nice place
For little filly's all alone
There are lots of twists and corners
That could lead to the unknown.

Capper stopped singing for a couple of seconds before starting again

Ponies(Minus Twilight and Aurora): He's a friend indeed
Capper then took us into his home. "Welcome my little ponies to my little manor" he spoke, opening the hatch before leaping into the room. I climbed into the room and looked around. "Wow this place has so many beautiful stuff" I pointed out. "Oh sort of a rocko hobo bohemian hodgepodge" Rarity added.
"Apologies for the state of my litter box. I wasn't expecting guests" Capper replied. "Oh, so many fun breakables" Pinkie said, looking up at the stuff hanging from the ceiling. I looked around again and spotted a bookshelf, going over to it and tried to find some new books that I might be interested in.
"You all sure you want the Hippos" Capper asked the others minus Twilight who was also looking at the bookshelf. "Yes sire. The Queen of the Hippos" Pinkie replied. I decided to zone out at this point to try and find the books, so I didn't even notice Twilight leave the bookshelf and talk to the others.
Capper's pov
I looked over at Aurora who was looking at the books on my bookshelf. 'So she likes books' I thought, flicking my tail as I watched her.
I felt more heat rising to my cheeks as I watched her. 'I guess Virgo won't mind me keeping one of them' I thought to myself before noticing the purple pony with the wings and horn saying that she had found something.
She then started explaining how they needed to leave before I quickly blocked the door.
Aurora's pov
I suddenly heard a thump against the door and a startled cat sound. I turned around to see Capper leaning against the door. "Wait. You ca- You can't make it by yourselves. You need an airship and lucky for you, I can get you a ride" Capper spoke. "I think we can get there on our own" Twilight replied, pushing Capper out of the way and using her magic to open the door.
Twilight opened the door and standing right there in the doorway was some mole creature "Here's Virgo" he spoke. He then turned to Capper. "These ponies better shoot Rainbow lasers out of they're eyes if they're gonna settle your debt" he explained, pointing at Capper. Capper backed up and I felt him hit me with one of his feet as I fell down behind the bookcase and a piece of fabric fell on top of me.
"Yes you can have all six of them" Capper replied. "You were going to sell us" Rarity yelled. "I knew it. We gotta get out of here" Twilight added but then the sound of laughter came. "Silly little ponies" Another voice chuckled. "Tempest" Twilight yelled as Spike screamed.
Capper's Pov
"Aurora where are you" The blue pony with the rainbow mane yelled. "I'm here" Aurora replied as she scrambled out of the fabric that I had deliberately let fall on her. She tripped however and fell onto the floor, the necklace with the emerald on it clattering to the ground, light reflecting off it.
Aurora must not have noticed this because she got back up and raced towards the window where the rest of the ponies had gone. Virgo had just been blasted by that Tempest pony who had her guards stop the windmill which broke and the ponies went in the direction of the port.
While everyone was distracted, I grabbed the necklace and held it in my paw. Tempest then had the guards take me to the docks and I was thrown onto the ground. I looked up and saw Tempest and placed my ears down "Now where are they going" she asked me, her horn sparking with magic.
I stood up quickly "Ok, no need for violence. There heading-" I didn't finish my sentence when I saw the emerald that belonged to Aurora sparkle from the sunlight, a rainbow of colours shining. I starred down at the emerald and I couldn't help but remember everything about her. In my eyes, she looked perfect with the ginger and blond mane and tail, the blue and purple fur and feathers and her dark sapphire blue eyes. I hesitated for a second before deciding that I wasn't going to betray the ponies by telling Tempest where they were heading. I would never gain Aurora's trust back if I did tell them.
"They're heading east, yeah , to-to black skull island" I lied, zipping past them to the front of the dock and pointing in the direction of east. I then turned around and started to back away. "So uh glad I could be of service to his majesty, the storm king. I'll just be on my way *startled cat noise*"
I turned around to face Tempest as she started talking. "When I get my princess until then your fate is still up in the air" She then walked towards the airship. "Hehehe your going to go into the ship which is a boat specifically an airboat" The little guy added. I placed my ears down and sighed, still clutching onto Aurora's necklace while Tempest's guards made me walk forward.
