My love for the notorious bad boy,
Is cliche enough as it is.
In fact it was all his idea
For him to fall in love with me,
And in the end it turned into pure bliss.
His approach almost knocked me off my feet,
When I realized that he needed something from me.
He needed a girlfriend who is pretty and sweet
To show off to his family the next time they meet.
I needed a boy,
To get my mother off my back,
For her to stop setting me up with friends' sons,
Because having a boyfriend is the only thing I lacked.
So we pretended to have a fake relationship,
Both wanting something from the other.
How weird is that?

Who fell in love with each other.
I have read all the stories,
About how they both fall in love at the end,
But here's the difference,
I promised myself to never get attached.
Soon summer came and I had to leave for college,
My goodbye was swift.
He was staying at that old small town,
One that we both grew up in,
He was planning to help with his dad's business,
While I was planning to move on from him.
I never told him about my feelings,
And I never will.
But deep down inside,
I knew he loved me,
Which makes me wonder what life would be like if I told him
That my fake love for him was real.
And if we ever bump into each other
In the near future,
I hope I can finally get the courage to say
That my love for him was so strong,
That I was too scared to stay.
For he was the bad boy,
And I was only an innocent girl.
Somehow we made life work,
And we accomplished what we wanted.
As life went on with a blur.
