"don't get up." Prowl said. Bumblebee looked down where Prowl was staring, energon leaked from his middle and legs. Bumblebee pushed him back.
"I'm fine." Bumblebee muttered getting up slowly. he used his stingers on Starscream as Optimus and Sentinel pulled up.
"Prowl get Bumblebee inside. we'll handle Starscream." Optimus said. Bumblebee grunted softly.
"put me down. at least let me walk." Bumblebee said. Starscream dove at Prowl as he put Bumblebee down. "Prowl!" Bumblebee shouted shoving him out of the way. Starscream slammed Bumblebee against a tree and Bumblebee slumped down, groaning. Prowl jumped up and kicked Starscream back towards Optimus.
"and now do you want to walk?" Prowl ask. Bumblebee glared at him, but it was a painfilled glare. Prowl was quick to scoop him up and run him inside. but Starscream grabbed Prowls leg and drug him into the air, making him drop his injured bondmate from about five feet in the air. Optimus was quick to catch the injured beetle.
"I thought you were going to handle Starscream! now he's got Prowl!" Bumblebee shouted, holding his side. Optimus ran Bumblebee inside to the rec room the back out to help Sentinel. Prowl, still upside down in Starscreams grasp, growled.
"put me down Starscream!" Prowl hissed, kicking the seeker in the face. Starscream yelped, letting go and holding his face. Prowl flipped and landed on his peds heading inside to get to Bumblebee. he scooped Bumblebee up gently, but the beetle still cried out in pain. "just try to keep still while I get you to Ratchet." Prowl said.
"wh-why is it always me?" Bumblebee muttered.
"because you don't think before you do and rush out to take on Decepticons by yourself." Prowl replied.
"i-it was just Starscream." Bumblebee whimpered. Prowl didn't respond.
"third time in two days kid." Ratchet said.
"new record." Bumblebee muttered. now he was falling unconscious.
"alright Prowl, get ready to help. he's got so much energon leaking I'm going to need help." Ratchet said, helping Prowl lay Bumblebee down gently. Bumblebee whimpered softly.
"just tell me what I need to do." Prowl said.
"first off use your bond to help keep him onlined." Ratchet said.
"already doing it." Prowl replied.
"good pry his chest plate off. we need to get it out of the way." Ratchet said. Prowl nodded and gently pride it off Bumblebee, setting it aside.
"can't you put him out or something?" Prowl ask.
"no he's lost so much energon if he goes out, he might not wake up." Ratchet said. keeping that in mind, Prowl used their bond to try and keep Bumblebee awake.
"his spark is weak." Prowl warns. Ratchet nods as they start patching him up. Ratchets head jerked up when Prowl suddenly stumbled. he knew what that meant. they were loosing Bumblebee and, as his bonded, it was hurting Prowl physically, even if the bot didn't know thats what was wrong.
"Wheeljack! get out here!" Ratchet shouted. Wheeljack ran in from doing whatever he was in the back.
"Ratchet?" Wheeljack ask.
"get over here and help me. we're loosing him!" Ratchet hissed. "Prowl sit down. focus on keeping Bumblebee alive and if you get dizzy tell me." Ratchet said.
"why don't we just use Sari's key?" Prowl ask. Ratchets optics widened quickly.
"right Wheeljack go get Sari. she's the little human girl." Ratchet ordered.
"already commed Burnbee she's bringing her down now." Wheeljack replied. Ratchet kept watching Prowl as they worked. the worse Prowl got the more likely they were loosing Bumblebee. as their sparks were one, it would affect Prowl greatly, seeing as Bumblebee was at deaths door at this point. Ratchet reached over, giving Bumblebee's spark a small shock to keep it going. it didn't seem to work as Prowl went crashing to the ground. Burnbee raced in with Sari.
"wh-whats going on?" Sari ask.
"we need your key to save Bumblebee." Ratchet replied.
"whats wrong with Prowl?" Sari ask.
"Bumblebee's dying spark is riping itself from Prowl and Prowl is feeling the effects." Ratchet replied putting Sari beside Bumblebee. Sari quickly ran over to use her key. Bumblebee's body flash quickly and Prowl muttered stting up on the floor.
"what the frag just happened?" Prowl muttered.
"you're spark was doing everything it could to keep Bumblebee's alive. you were essentially dying since Bumblebee was dying slowly. had it been quick you would've collapsed and awoken a few hours later. thankfully Sari had her key." Ratchet replied. Wheeljack helped Prowl up.
"and Bumblebee?" Prowl ask rubbing his head.
"will be fine. he needs fluids and will be in here over night, just so I can make sure." Ratchet said. "I suggest you go and shower, you're covered in energon." Ratchet added. Prowl nodded rubbing his head as stumbles slightly. "Wheeljack, help him get to the wash racks and stick around to make sure he doesn't suddenly collapse. just because we fixed Bumblebee doesn't mean there isn't damage to Prowls spark." Ratchet said. Wheeljack nodded and proceeded to help Prowl to the wash racks.
"is Bumblebee going to be okay?" Sari ask.
"Bumblebee will be fine. his spark was just fading. Prowl is the one I'm worried about. his spark was being pulled apart basically." Ratchet replied.
"can't my key fix it?" Sari ask.
"I'm not sure kid. besides, after the repair it just did on Bumblebee, I don't think that key will be useful anytime soon." Ratchet said. "spark damage isn't easy to fix either, it take time. even with your key, it couldn't fix it all, maybe speed up the process though, but before we go poking at his spark lets see what happens." Ratchet added. if Prowls spark gave out suddenly, he didn't want Prowl to be alone. Optimus came in.
"hows Bumblebee?" the young team leader ask.
"he'll be alright." Ratchet muttered, motioning for him to sit so he could be repaired. "but Prowl on the other hand, doesn't need to be alone. he could have possible spark damage." Ratchet said.
"spark damage from what?" Optimus ask.
"we almost lost Bumblebee. thankfully Sari was here with her key, but Prowls spark faught to keep Bumblebee's alive. as you know with one bondmate dyng slowly, the other will die shortly after. we saved Bumblebee but I'm unsure if there's damage to Prowls spark or not." Ratchet said.
"where is he now?" Optimus ask as Ratchet patched him up.
"Wheeljacks taking him to the wash racks. he was covered in Bumblebee's energon." Ratchet replied.
"but the wash racks are part of the medical area. why did he need Wheeljack to go with him?" Optimus ask curiously.
"bot could barely stand on his own." Ratchet replied. Optimus nodded and went over to Bumblebee.
"and Bumblebee will be fine?" Optimus ask. Ratchet nodded. "good." Optimus said. "at least Bumblebee will be able to watch him. Prowl doesn't like it when anyone else 'hangs out' with him." Optimus said.
"Bumblebee's staying here until he wakes up." Ratchet said.
"then it doesn't sound like Prowl will be too far away from the medbay." Optimus said. Ratchet nodded in agreement. there was a thump.
"Ratchet!" Wheeljack shouted. Ratchet dropped what he was using to fix Primes arm and ran for the wash racks. Wheeljack was holding up Prowls head trying to turn the water off. Ratchet ran over shutting the water off.
"alright lets get him up." Ratchet said. Prowl groans softly as they lifted him up. they carried him to a berth and layd him down. he quickly hooked Prowl up to a spark monitor, sending it a little shock. Prowl jerked up at the shock to his spark.
"what the frag?" Prowl muttered, sitting up. "Déjà vu." Prowl muttered softly.
"you collapsed in the wash racks. you're staying here." Ratchet replied, hooking serveral machines up to him. Prowl watches him a moment, whincing and holding his head.
"primus my head." Prowl muttered.
"yeah lay back, try not to move too much." Ratchet said. Prowl nodded laying back slowly. Ratchet did a couple quick scans. "there." Ratchet said. he showed the scan to Prowl.
"whats that?" Prowl ask.
"a hole in your spark." Ratchet replied. "from trying to keep Bumblebee alive. ignoring the pain from it doesn't help. you should've let go." Ratchet said. Prowl offlined his optics.
"would've hurt a lot more to let go and either way, had he died I would have died not too long later. besides. I wasn't just giving up on him. he's my bondmate." Prowl replied. "I wasn't going to let him offline without atleast trying to help him. I mean, would you let Wheeljack die without trying to save him?" Prowl added. Ratchet didn't respond, simply stared at Prowl in shock, until a moan caught his attenting.
"slag, what hit me?" Bumblebee ask, onlining his optics.
"Starscream." Prowl responded. Bumblebee turned his head to look over at his bondmate.
