You slammed the book closed before groaning in frustration.
"Damn, I hate astronomy."
Exams are coming up and your brain doesn't seem to accept what you have read. You threw the book and it hit the wall. You screamed in frustration once more, covering your face with a pillow.
The door opened, revealing your brother, Taehyung.
"What's with all the racket!?"
"Oh shut up." you told him.
"No. You shut up." he retorted before sitting on your bed, "What's wrong?"
"Astronomy is killing me." you answered and he laughed, "My brain's so full! I think it's gonna blow any second!"
"Do you even have a brain?"
You sat up and glared at him.
"Yah."
"I was kidding!" he said before laughing, "How about.. you go and ask Namjoon-hyung for help. He's great in astronomy."
"N-No thanks." you replied making him smirk.
"You still have that little crush of yours?"
"Mmm.."
"Hahahaha.. how cute."
"Does he know?" you asked.
"I don't know." Taehyung replied, "But he seems a little suspicious of you stuttering when you talk to him."
"Aish. I can't help it." you pouted, "I get nervous every time I see him."
"You're too pretty to get nervous little sis."
"Psh. You think so?"
"Yup." he smiled, "If I wasn't your brother.. I'd probably be crazy for you right now."
You laughed before kissing his cheeks. "Thanks bro."
He smiled and planted a soft kiss on your forehead. "Jalja.."
You smiled back before he went out of the room. You sighed and went to sleep.
The Next Day..
Your mind was still fucked up because of astronomy and you finally decided to ask help from Namjoon, swearing that you'll beat Taehyung up if this doesn't work out.
You saw Namjoon along with the other boys by his locker. You took a deep breath before approaching him.
"Hey it's Y/N!!" Hoseok pointed out before waving. You smiled at him and waved back.
"U-Um.. N-Namjoon oppa.." you stuttered out which made him look at you.
"I told you not to call me oppa." he said before smiling, "What is it?"
"I-I'm having trouble studying with astronomy and T-Taehyung told me that you were good at it so---"
"No worries. I'll be at your place at 8." he cut you off which made you sigh in relief.
"Thanks.."
Home..
"So.." Namjoon trailed off, sitting beside you, "What do you find hard to understand?"
The two of you were currently sitting at the rooftop at your place. "Everything." you replied making him laugh.
"Everything?"
"Yeah. It's frustrating." you replied and was about to open a book when he stopped you from doing so. You looked at him, "What?"
"I'll tell you what's so good about astronomy without using that book." he smiled, "Look."
You looked at where he was pointing at and you were amazed by the sight of stars. Millions of them twinkling and shining brightly in the night sky.
"Marvelous, isn't it?" he asked and you only nodded, "Stars are used as guides by some sailors out at sea."
"Cool.."
"The universe is vast. And our galaxy, the milky way galaxy, is only a part of it." he continued, "There are more out there that are yet to be discovered."
"It's amazing."
"Yeah." You noticed that he was looking at you, "It is amazing."
You blushed and looked away.
"H-How do you find a constellation?"
"Find?" he chuckled, "You don't find it. It finds you."
"Huh?"
"Constellations are the result of stars that can be connected by our own imaginary lines." he said, "Every star out there.. you can make your own constellation."
"Then.. can you make your own galaxy?"
He looked at you with brows furrowed. "What do you mean?"
"Your own galaxy." you smiled at him and looked back up, "Your own belief. A galaxy is made up of heavenly bodies, right? Then you can make your own galaxy out of your own belief. Your own planets, your own stars.."
"I never knew you were this interesting Y/N." Namjoon stated, smiling which made you blush and look at him, "I think I'm gonna make my own galaxy as well."
"Oh really?"
"Mmm.." he leaned closer which made you freeze, "Will you be my brightest star, then?"
"N-Namjoon.."
"You'll be the center of my galaxy." he smiled, "Your eyes will be my black hole, drowning me with its beauty. Your smiles will be my meteors, striking me everytime. And your lips.."
You cut him off with a peck on his lips which surprised him. "Your lips will be every discovery that is yet to be found."
