After a long day at work Jay came to Louis' class only to see him asleep on the couch that is in the corner of the classroom. She smiled at his figure and walked up to Liam giving his forehead a kiss.
"How's my favorite nephew doing?" She asked Liam like he was still a toddler. Liam chuckled.
"I'm doing alright aunt Jay. What about you?" He smiled.
"I'm doing fine my dear. How is Zayn doing?" Jay asked seeing Liam's face light up at the mention of his husband.
"He's doing great too. I forgot to tell you. He would also be coming over tonight." He said smiling like a teenager with a crush.
"Oh I thought he was on a business trip." Jay said.
"No it got cancelled." Liam shook his head still smiling.
"Oh okay. Anyways how was he today?" Jay asked pointing at her son who was now sucking on his thumb in his sleep.
"He was good. But I was needing to tell you this aunt. Um... we need to train him to do his things alone now. He kinda depends on us more than he should." Liam sighed knowing that this conversation must be made sooner or later.
"I know Li. I'm trying to do so too. He had an accident after a long time this morning just only because he didn't wanna go to the bathroom on his own. He said that he called my name but I was asleep." Jay sighed remembering the evens in the morning. "It happened around 3 am and when we woke up in the morning he wanted me to carry him downstairs. I also think that this is too much of depending."
Liam sighed knowing that they must do something about this. Because, neither Jay nor Liam would be able to stay with him forever. Just thinking about that made a shiver run down Liam's spine.
"Anyways I gotta go now since I have to make dinner for few people tonight." Jay said.
"Yeah sure. See you tonight aunt" Liam hugged her and went to wake Louis up.
"Lou, wake up. It's time to go home." Liam said slightly shaking Louis awake. Louis whined a little but woke up nonetheless.
"Mommy is here Lou." Liam said pointing at Jay.
"Hello baby boy." Jay smiled at him. Louis got up and jumped on his mommy giggling, happy to see her. Jay chuckled and balanced herself.
"M-mah mah mah mah" He chanted patting Jay's cheek.
"Okay little monkey, let's get you home." Jay smiled removing his hand from her face and kissing his forehead.
"B-bah" Louis said waving at Liam.
"Bye Lou. See you tonight love." Liam waved back.

This time Louis walked to the car on his own. After Jay put the seat belt on the bouncing Louis she was quick to get situated in the car. Before she could start the car, her phone rang. "Hello Mr. Styles" She said to the phone.
"Hi Mrs. Tomlinson. I was wondering if I could have your address." Harry said to the phone. He was impatient to see the blue eyed boy again.
"Oh, I forgot to send you that. Didn't I?" Jay face palmed making Louis giggle and making Harry's heart melt at that sound.
"I will text you the address now. I'm sorry about that." She sighed.
"No ma'am it's alright. I can tell that you're busy enough." Harry chuckled.
"Yeah." Jay chuckled too, eyeing the curious boy who has his head tilted to side while gurgling around his fist again.
"See you tonight Mrs. Tomlinson." Harry said. "Okay. See you." Jay hung up and quickly texted him their address. Louis reached for her phone with his saliva covered hand curious about who called his mom.
"Baby boy, wipe your hands first. Then I would give you the phone to play some games. Okay?" Jay smiled at her baby. Louis held his hand for his mommy to wipe away his saliva.
"No love, take a wipe from this box and wipe your hand. You're a big boy. Now aren't you?" Jay said since she knew that she has to start with small things to teach Louis to live on his own. Louis whined but took a wipe and cleaned his hand up when Jay sent him a stern look.
"Good boy." Jay smiled and handed him the phone after opening a gaming app.

When they got into their house, Jay told Louis to go into his room till she puts her things in her room. When she goes into Louis room he was still playing in the phone sitting on his bed.
"Let's take a bath, baby." Louis didn't hear what Jay said since he was too into the game.
"Okay baby, enough of that game now. Hurry up and strip from your clothes." Jay said snatching the phone from Louis. This made him angry, 'cause he didn't get to close the app and lock the phone for three times.
"N-NO NONONONO" He said now sliding down the bed to the floor and scratching the carpet with his nails.
"No, Louis don't do that. You're gonna get your nails hurt." Jay said frantically trying to stop Louis but he just pushed her hands away. Since he's gonna get hurt she gave her phone back to Louis but he just threw it across the room, far too gone into his little tantrum that he can't even remember why he started it in the first place.
Jay got on her knees besides him and wrapped the kicking and screaming boy in a tight hug, praying to god that this would make him calm down. After a little she somehow got him to calm down still little sobs leaving his mouth.
Few more minutes later he fell asleep in Jay's arms. She somehow managed to get the sleeping boy onto the bed and stripped his uncomfortable clothes. After putting some decent clothes for the tonight's dinner on him, she left the room to change out of her office clothes and start dinner.
After an hour, she heard the doorbell going off. She looked at the clock which read 6.17pm. She went to open the door knowing it's probably Liam and Zayn. Once she opened the door, both Liam and Zayn hugged her.
"Hello boys! Come in." Jay hugged them both back.
"Where's Lou?" Asked Zayn.
"He's sleeping in his room. He had a little meltdown in the evening." Jay sighed.
"Oh. What happened?" Liam asked concerned.
"It's just- I took my phone away while he was playing a game. He got kinda angry at that and you know the rest." Jay looked down at the floor.
"He'd be okay aunt. Don't worry." Liam said hugging his aunt close.
"I'm gonna see if he's awake. I want someone to play games with." Zayn said trying to lighten up the mood.
Liam rolled his eyes at his husband fondly and Jay nodded before walking into the kitchen with Liam, talking about some gossips. Zayn shook his head fondly and walked up the stairs to Louis' bedroom. Louis was sitting on the bed still sleepily drooling. Zayn chuckled and sat beside him.
"Hello, Lou." Zayn whispered. Louis jolted awake from this and rubbed his eyes until his vision is clear.
Once he saw Zayn, he bounced in happiness. What do you say? It's been so long since he last saw Zayn.
"E-EN" He screamed in happiness now hugging Zayn tight.
"How do you do Lou?" Zayn asked hugging him back. Louis nodded and pointed at Zayn silently telling him that he's okay and asking how Zayn was.
"I'm great. I was wondering if you want to play games with me." Zayn asked ruffling Louis' hair but stopping Louis when he reached for Zayn's hair. (What do u say? It's Zayn Malik after all. And no he's not the Megamind in this book. *wink wonk*)
Louis bounced in excitement nodding his head.
They raced each other all the way to the couch and Zayn let Louis win.
Once situated in the couch, Zayn gave a controller to Louis after putting a game on. After a while into the game –Zayn was obviously losing 'cause Louis is always smarter than you can ever think- the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." Jay called out and walked up to the door. Once she opened the door there stood Harry smiling.
"Hello Mrs. Tomlinson." Harry greeted.
"Oh call me Jay." Jay smiled at him.
"Then call me Harry." Harry chuckled.
"Okay. Deal." Jay said now chuckling herself. "Come in. Dinner would be ready in a few." Jay said now walking back into the house with Harry behind her. Once he's in the living room he saw a familiar black hair.
"Zayn! What are you doing here? do you know Jay too?" Harry said, wondering out loud. Zayn turned his head in a pace that is not humanly possible.
"Oi Harry. Man, was you the so called guest?" Zayn asked, chuckling and standing up to hug his friend.
"Yeah yeah." Harry said chuckling and hugging Zayn back.
"God, it's been so long since I last saw you. What is it? An year?" Zayn asked still smiling like a fool.
"Yeah, it is." Harry nodded.
"I see you boys know each other." Jay said chuckling.
"Yeah. We were best friends in university. But we just got so busy to the point where we couldn't meet each other that much." Zayn said smiling.
"Yeah but the friendship is still maintained through the phone." Harry said.
"Harry is that you?" Liam asked recognizing his best friend's voice.
"Oi, Lima bean" Harry hugged his other best friend.
"What happened to Nialler?" Liam asked remembering about the other member of their little gang.
"He's in Ireland these days" Harry said. Then they all heard a giggle and when they turned around Louis has won the game since Zayn has forgotten to pause it when he saw Harry.
"Hey little monkey, it's cheating." Zayn said jumping on to the couch and tickling Louis. Louis fell to the ground giggling like mad. Harry stared at him fondly while Liam stared at Zayn fondly. Jay chuckled and went into the kitchen to finish with the dinner.
"So how do you know my aunt and my cousin?" Liam asked Harry once they are situated in the couch. "Huh?" Harry asked clueless about that Jay is Liam's aunt.
"Oh, Jay is my aunt and Lou is my cousin." Liam said chuckling at Harry's clueless face. (Aka 'Worst outfit' face)
"Oh, I met them in this coffee shop." Then Harry spent the next five minutes telling him the story. Once the story is finished they heard a loud bang. When they turned around they saw that Louis is in the verge of crying.
"He hit his head on the coffee table." Zayn said rubbing now crying Louis' head.
"Oh baby, it's alright." Liam said getting Louis into his arms and situating him on his lap. Louis kept crying till the pain kind of subsided. After Liam applying some medicine to the swollen part of Louis head he stopped his crying completely. Liam thought this is a good time to introduce Harry to Louis.
"Hey Lou, look who we have over today. Do you remember him?" Liam asked pointing to Harry. Louis nodded his head since his memory is good but hid his face in Liam's shoulder.
"Hi Louis. I'm Harry" Harry said extending his hand out for Louis to shake. Louis didn't really like to touch unfamiliar people. He just hid his head further into Liam's chest.
"It takes him some time to get familiar to someone. But he'd be alright with you when the night ends" Liam said to dumbfounded Harry.
"Oh it's okay." Harry said smiling.
