The thing I dislike most about writing oneshots is writing the title. Evidently, I'm bad at it too so I think that shows what type of a person I am.

[Name] sighed as she sat, clearly bored, in the ruins of a house, eyes looking out for any signs of magic in the air.
She knew that she had volunteered to wait here, but she didn't think that they would be gone that long.
The girl adjusted the blue cloak that she wore around her self as she stood up once again, pacing around the place.
Did Jellal and Meredy get caught?
No. Jellal was always careful, perhaps they took a detour. Now that didn't even sound like them.
Suddenly, everything disappeared from her mind when she saw a flash of pink light in the air.
She raised her hand in response, a golden light appearing from her fingertips.
It went in the direction of where she saw the pink light. Meredy's magic.
Now it was all a matter of time.
Sure enough, she sensed two familiar figures. [Name] instantly stood up, rushing towards them.
"Jellal! Meredy! Are you alright?" [Name] asked, but then she saw the bandages around Jellal's eyes. "What happened?"
[Name] instantly rushed Jellal over to where she was sitting before. Then, she froze, feeling the presence of five other people.
Who were all too familiar.
"Them?" She asked, slightly shocked.
"We'll explain this later, can you heal him first?" Meredy asked, even more worried than her.
"I'll do my best, but I can't help with his physical injuries though" [Name] reminded, hand glowing a golden light as she held it in front of Jellal.
When she finished, [Name] immediately turned around.
"Did you fight them? You're so reckless!" [Name] scolded.
"That's what I've been telling him!" Meredy said, pushing [Name] outside. "You should go talk to them"
[Name] hesitantly nodded and looked outside. None of the members of the old Oración Seis noticed, apart from Erik who stared right at her. But she didn't notice.
"Macbeth?" [Name] quietly asked, gaining the attention of everyone apart from Erik. His attention was on her from the start.
"[Name]?" Sorano asked, not believing it.
Why would she? [Name] had left the Oración Seis before they were defeated by the alliance. She was no use to Brain anyway, especially since she had refused to harm anyone.
She had hid from everyone and was found by Jellal when he formed Crime Sorcière. She had joined, because there was no where else for her to go.
[Name] ran to the boy, hugging him. He was still shocked that she was there.
Right in front of him. He had thought that she died.
He eventually hugged her back, smiling slightly.
"I want mine now!" Sorano said, pushing Macbeth aside to hug [Name] as well.
Back when they were all together, Sorano and [Name] grew close, forming a bond because they were the only girls in the group. Least, that's what Sorano insisted.
[Name] knew that it was because she reminded Sorano of her sister.
She hugged Sawyer and Richard, all with the same smile.
"Aren't you going to ask for a hug?" Sorano asked suggestively, nudging Erik.
"Shut up" He only replied, looking away. [Name] glanced at him but looked away seconds later, blush on her cheeks.
"So is this what Jellal meant?" Sorano asked, looking at the cape that [Name] was wearing. The cape that was identical to Jellal and Meredy's. "You're with them?"
"I'm going to follow them for as long as I'm alive" [Name] smiled, confirming what everyone thought.
"Then I'll follow you too!" Sorano smiled.
"Hold on, don't you think that's too quick?" Sawyer asked, still unsure.
"No, [Name]'s a comrade. She trusts them so why can't I?" Sorano asked, smiling at [Name].
That's right. Comrades. That's what they were. It's what they will be. How could she have been scared of them?

A few weeks later, as Crime Sorcière set up camp in the forest outside a village, [Name] noticed something.
When everyone fell asleep, [Name] woke up, hiding away from Richard who was on guard duty.
She rushed over to the other side of the forest, seeing it completely dead.
There was no light in that part of the forest. No hope, no animals.
She cause sense the darkness of the forest as soon as they went close to the village.
A ball of light levitated above the palm of her hand, illuminating everything to her.
She gasped, wondering what it could have been to completely destroy the area.
She was quite far away from the village and her comrades. She had to be careful.
Suddenly, her entire body was thrown back, making her land heavily against a tree, wincing in pain.
[Name] shakily stood up, looking around to see what had hit her.
Her blood froze when she was face with face to a mouth, shrivelled in darkness.
It was disgusting. Horrifying. She could see sharp, yellow teeth that were centimetres from her face.
[Name] quickly came to her senses and jumped back. Her eyes never leaving the face as its mouth closed.
[Name] levitated the ball of light into the air to provide a source of light.
But as she was concentrating on not getting eaten, she was thrown back, hitting her head on a rock. She winced, standing up once again, trying to stead herself.
She was already losing blood and balance after being caught off guard. Twice.
She hit it with beams of light as it shrunk away.
But she couldn't anymore. Her head was throbbing with pain and her vision started going blurry.
As she stepped backwards, she tripped over a root, grunting in pain.
The light orb around her grew dim and it came back, as if sensing that she was weak.
[Name] turned around to be met out the same terrifying face once again. Her heart started beating faster as her breath grew heavy, afraid of what was to come.
[Name] shut her eyes, not wanting the last thing she looked at to be a beast's mouth.
"Oi! You stay the hell away from her!" A voice yelled and the beast was blasted away in an instant.
[Name] opened her eyes to see a figure in front of her, glaring at something to the side of her.
He suddenly turned to her and she felt her heart pound even faster than it was before.
"[Name], can you stand?" Erik asked her, holding a hand out for her to grab.
"I'm fine" [Name] lied, reaching a shaky hand up to take it.
"Don't try to lie to me" Erik warned her, easily picking her up.
"N-No, I-I'm fine! You don't have to pick me up!" [Name] said, her face a bright red.
"You're not heavy" Erik told her, barely sparing her a glance as he walked forward.
"Stop listening to my thoughts!" [Name] said, averting her eyes.
"Not my fault your thoughts are loud." He grumbled, holding her the slightest bit tighter.
"I missed you..." [Name] said, looking back at him. "Did you miss me too?"
"Yeah, whatever" his reply was curt.
"You can still tell, can't you? That my feelings for you never changed"
"You make it obvious"
"It's only obvious because you're listening to my thoughts!" [Name] defended, feeling her mind grow fuzzy.
"You're tired. Sleep" Erik commanded.
"I told you... to stop reading my... my thoughts..." [Name] said, easily falling asleep in Erik's arms.
"Idiot... you should've just woken me up" he said as they reached the camp.
"Erik" a voice called from the tree that he was leaning on.
"Macbeth" Erik said, walking closer. "She went to fight the beast"
His eyes flickered down to his sister, who was in Erik's arms.
"I trust you to take care of her when I'm not there"
"Don't worry I will. Whether you're present or not. Don't need you to tell me twice"
