I would like to thank Kelly for allowing me yet another opportunity to participate in

the Wattpad Block Party. Kelly thank you❣ and I really appreciate all the effort you are putting in to have each and every one of us to feature in this Block Party. Thank you for your patience and hard work❣❣❣
Hi, I am Johanna. I have been on Wattpad for over two years and I can't describe in words what a wonderful journey it has been so far.
When I read Kelly's first Block Party it inspired me to such an extend that I went from a silent reader to an active reader and writer.
From a silent reader to someone that participated in:
✍ Four Wattpad Block Parties(this is my 4th party)
✍ More than six anthologies, that included: Romance, Horror, Fantasy, Mythology and poetry.
✍ I also participated in writing a collaborated story (History) called Misguided Wanderers. And oh my gosh I had soooo much fun with @insomnolence, a very talented writer.
✍ One anthology that I was very proud being part of was 'The Decameron' hosted by @rskovach and lead by Christine Bottas, @Nyhterides. We were a team of eleven writers that had to write a story with the theme 'Secrets'. @Nyhterides, @prose-punk, @KarlOConnor, @FinnyH, me, @CyrilBunt, @rosaimee, @LLSanders, @IoannaKoliofoti, @BelitAm and @ThoughtsOnPaper.
The same team are working on a Zombie Anthology, Zombiepalooza, hosted by @WalkingWithZombies. This time our team leader is @KarlOConnor.
✍ I partook in the 'She Persisted' project hosted by Rita @kriskosach, a project to celebrate women who have overcome obstacles or inspired others to make the world better.
✍I am also honored to be a Wattpad Ambassador where I work on content control. And I also help in the @dangerouslove profile.
Discovering Wattpad was one of the most important things that happened in my life. It is a loving and caring community with lots of wonderful readers and writers like you❣I am proud to be a part of the Wattpad Community❣
Without further ado, I would like to present 'Sweet Lips', a new story I am working on. The story title was inspired by a high school 'love'. Lol, yes it's true. Gosh, I'm blushing here.
I was in Grade 11 when I met this guy that was in the Army. We spent the most wonderful romantic holiday together. I met him through my best friend at that time, it was her cousin. I only saw him once after this particular holiday. But I did write to him every single day for the first three months and after that just once a week. See, I was already a vivid writer at that time, hahaha. I still have his letters. He used to call me 'Sweet Lips'. And he used to sing that song lovingly into my ear whenever we made out. This is so embarrassing, but it's true ;-)
Does anyone of you have a 'special' name that you were or are called by a special someone? I would love to hear your stories❣
CHAPTER ONE
Zeke looked at the Jean-Baptiste Greuze, French drawing. In some ways he could relate to 'The Ungrateful Son' in the picture. Misunderstood and not respected for whom he was. There was a slight difference between him and the boy, though. In the picture the father was the one fighting with the son to stay home and to not join the army.
If it just was his father giving him a hard time. But no, he just up and left them. Now, he has to help look after his eight year old sister, instead of going out with his friends. He left Cyndel at home because he couldn't take her whining anymore.
Zeke wished they had never moved to Vienna, Austria. He hated his father for this. He had had to leave all his friends behind. And for what? Nothing! Because his father left a year after they moved there in any case. Infuriated he focused his attention on the drawing again.
The mother in the drawing tried to keep her son from leaving. Why hadn't his mother tried to keep his father from leaving? He had to express his anger before he exploded. Everytime he looked at the mother in the picture he got angrier.
All the rage that had build up inside of him, wanted out. He wanted to feel vengeful and mean. He wanted to do something bad. His fingers curled tightly around his entry ticket, crumpled into his fist. He could feel his fist smashing the drawing to smithereens.
But maybe he could do something totally worse. He pulled at the gum in his mouth with his fingers. He stretched it as far as possible, released it and sucked the minty gum back into his mouth. He did it again, but instead of sucking it back into his mouth, he took the piece of elongated gum out.
The father in the drawing needed a moustache. He scanned his immediate vicinity. Nobody. He slowly stuck out his hand and carefully edged the gum closer to the drawing. He stepped closer. Checking again, making sure there was no unwanted spectators. Yes, no-one!
Carefully he squished the 'moustache' in place. As nonchalant as only Zeke could be, he turned around and wanted to walk away.
"Shoot!" There, in front of him, with folded arms, stood one of the museum's security officers. The thought of dashing out of the museum crossed his mind. The officer recognised the flight in his eyes and jumped forward before Zeke could react. Within seconds he was knocked to the ground and pinned down. He sat on his back holding his hands behind him, and then the icy cuffs clasped tightly onto his wrists.
