Cars came crashing down around Tony.
He got nipped by one before he turned and blasted some and then he tried to dodge but in the end...
Cars piled on top of him.
Seeing as they were safe I hurried and jumped back down to where Steve was fighting.
Steve did an awesome kick as Rhodes flew at him sending the Colonel to the ground, breaking his club/buzz baton/sword.
Oh man Tyson would love one of those.
Although the thought of my brother with that is terrifying.
T'Challa tried to kick Steve but he retaliated and sent the king rolling.
Rhodes stood, looking at whatever that thing was. "Great."
"Hey, Cap, heads-up!" Scott ran over and tossed Cap something.
"Throw it at this." He held something up. "Now!" He threw it.
Steve threw whatever it was at whatever it was.
Suddenly there was a truck.
"Oh, come on!" Rhodes yelled as it flew towards him.
When it hit the ground it erupted into flames.
"Oh, man, I thought it was a water truck."
Steve just looked at the man.
"Uh, sorry." The two turned around and took off.
Tony landed and Nat looked at him.
Rhodes started to get up. "All right, now I'm pissed."
Tony helped Nat up.
"Is this part of the plan?" She asked.
"Well, my plan was go easy on them. You wanna switch it up?"
"Come on!" There's my cue.
I sprinted towards the source of Steve's voice and joined in the formation, next to Wanda.
We were suddenly halted by a Lazer cutting into the ground infront of us.
Vision hovered in the air.
" Captain Rogers... I know you believe what you're doing is right. But for the collective good you must surrender now."
While he made his little speak, the rest of Team Iron Man showed up.
I feel like a camera should be doing a close up pan of all of us right now.
"What do we do, Cap?" Sam asked.
"We fight." Was his response.
Man would Clarisse love this.
Our two sides started walking towards each other, which turned into a jog.
"They're not stopping." Spidey said.
It's right on the tip of my tongue. Where have I heard that voice before?
"Neither are we."
The flyers on that side took to the air while everyone else ran.
Wanda and Sam flew up as well.
This is so going to end well.
Note the sarcasm.
It turned to chaos.
I moved through the fight, dealing blows when I could, blocking or slowing the other side as best as I could.
Eventually I ended up by Clint as he pinned Nat.
"We're still friends, right?" She asked.
"Depends on how hard you hit me." He replied.
Nat flipped her legs up and managed to throw her and Clint away from each other.
Then she was about to land a kick to his face when a red mist picked her up by the ankle and threw her.
"You were pulling your punches." Wanda scolded before hurrying back into the fight.
I hurried over to Bucky who was having trouble.
"I didn't kill your father." He said.
" Then why did you run?"
T'Challa quickly gained the upper hand and was about kill Bucky when I reached out my hand.
At the same time Wanda used her powers and flung him away.
She's saving everyone today.
I moved to Steve next.
His shield had just returned and Spidey was sitting up on some luggage transport thing?
Hey don't judge. I've never been on an airplane except for one time and my mind was on other things at that time.
Like stopping World War Three. Not dying.
You know. The usual.
"That thing does not obey the law is a physics at all." Spidey said.
Still can't place that voice.
Where do I know that voice?
"Look, kid, there's a lot going on here that you don't understand." Steve responded.
"Mr Stark said you'd say that. Wow." Then he used a web to grab ahold of Steve's shield.
Then he used another one to grab his leg.
Pulling Steve towards him he then used webs to pull himself towards Steve and landed a kick powerful enough to knock him back against a truck.
"He also said to go for your legs."
Rule number one. Don't tell the enemy where they are lacking.
Steve used this time to try and grab his shield.
But Spidey webbed his hands up.
After some struggling Cap performed a beautiful ballet piece and I cut the webs with my sword, allowing Spidey to fly freely.
Clint, can you get him off me?
Buckled in?
Yeah. No, I'm good. I'm good, Arrow Guy. Let's go!
Spidey tried to web Steve up again but Steve expected it and pulled the web and put up his shield, before hitting Spidey with it.
I feel like I'm not doing anything.
Spidey used his webs to pull him up to a higher vantage point.
" Stark tell you anything else?"
"That your wrong. You think you're right. That makes you dangerous." He swung around and went to use another web but Steve kicked him back into the landing gear or whatever it was.
That had to hurt.
"Guess he had a point." Steve threw his shield at the support of what Spidey was under.
The weight fell onto him. But he held it up.
On the bright side it's not the sky.
"You got heart, kid. Where you from?"
"Queens."
Oh my gods that's where I know that voice.
I let myself be seen. "Peter Parker. You are so dead." I growled out.
"Whoa! Who are you? One of Cap's buddies?" Peter asked.
"I don't know her." Steve said.
I chuckled and took off my helmet.
"Percy!?" They both yelled.
"Sup? It's been awhile Pete. Sorry about your uncle. But at least he was a good man. My uncles always want to kill me."
"Enough. We'll talk about this later." Steve started running in the opposite direction.
I followed.
"Where are you from?!" Peter yelled.
"Brooklyn!" Steve yelled, a smile on his face.
"Manhattan!"
Oh gods guys
I got this done Sunday night. And I have calling hours tomorrow (Monday) for my great uncle.
