Ava
"Sir, do you hear anyone talking?" I ask a random old man, while Dumbass follows behind pushing the cart.
"What?! Sorry dear, I can't hear you!" the old man shouts, leaning forward. I take a step back and rapidly shake my head, totally taken back.
I hear a snort from behind me, causing me to turn back and glare at the dumbass whos staring at me in amusement, he raises his eyebrows and smiles.
Realising that I have made his presence known, I squint my eyes and look around him, pretending to find someone or something,
"Must be Casper" I sigh, shrugging my shoulders and continue walking ahead.
"Ava, we already made eye contact" Kai sings, totally enjoying this, "anyways come on, it's not like you could've hidden her forever."
Kai had to go ahead and tell Liam about Adaline, who came straight away and toke her away and since then I've been ignoring Kai for betraying me, but I still decided to come grocery shopping for the sake of my one true love, food.
"I could've tried, tried to keep her from monsters like you,"I exaggerate, folding my arms and huffing, while looking to the side
"Excuse me" he gaps dramatically, with a hand on his heart
"Yes-" I start but get cut off as he walks past me saying "You spoke to me."
"What? NO!" I protest, following behind him, "no I didn't! I was speaking to Casper,"
"Still speaking to me," he whistles,
I groan in annoyance and follow behind dumbass while looking around, but apparently, he wanted to randomly stop, causing me to slam into his back and bounce backwards
What the hell is his back made of?
"Ava-
"Hello, cutie," Winks the guy who caught me from falling

"H-"
A hand wraps around mine, pulling me forward, "No" I hear Kai say and looking up to find him giving the guy a blank look.
The guy puts his hands up in surrender and smiles, "I swing for the other team,"

Kai turns us both around, in front of the cart, trapping me in, his hands on both of the handles of the cart and moves forward, "You stay here, don't need you falling for other people," he mutters
"Awh is Kaipoop jealous, you want some peanut butter with that jelly," I tease,
"That reminds me, we do need peanut butter and jelly," he mumbles, suddenly turning the trolley to the left, I snigger and keep walking ahead, my back touching Kai's chest.
After a lot of shopping and eating, we decide to go home.

Finally!
As soon as Kai pulls up in front of the house, I push the doors open and run, ignoring Kais calls and running past 2 random people
Who the cheesecakes are they?
What if-
Shit, I continue running, dropping my back pack at the front and run into the first toilet I find.
I've been holding my pee in the whole drive here, and the stupid traffic wasn't helping.
Finally after I'm done I walk back into the kitchen to find 2 people around the bags, Kai sat on a stool with my bag on the other stool.
"Ava, what the hell was that?" Kai asks, as soon as he sees me standing near the the door
"Sorry I had an urgent meeting with the toilet," I state, my eyes on my 2 people around the bags
"Kai,"
"Kai,"
"Kai,"
"Kai!"
"What?! I'm right here," Kai says, rolling his eyes.

"Who are these people, do you also see them, or is it just me, oh crackers, I'm a ghost thing, where only I-"
"Okay Miss ghost thing, calm down, this is the housekeeper, Sarah and her daughter, Jessica," Kai says, pointing at the two people
damn, I wanted to be a ghost thing
"Oh right, hi my names Jeff," I introduce myself, making sure to have a big smile on my face.
The two stop and stare, then stare at Kai, then me, I think their trying to see if I'm serious or not.
Kai at first looks surprised, but then he just smile in amusement and shakes his head, "Okay Jeff, lets go get changed and then come down to eat,"
After we finished changing and eating, we were sat down in our usual place, the couch. But, I decided to try something new and adventurous today- shut your dirty mouth, I meant floor skating. Why pay for ice skating or any skating when you can do this for free.
"Ava, you're gonna fall. They just cleaned the floor, so it's probably extra slippery," Kai warns, sitting on the couch, facing the tv, his back to me.
That's even better!
"Shh you old ma-AGhhhh!" I fall toward, my nose hitting the floor, not bothering to get up I lay dead fish on the floor

"Told you so," I hear Kai saying, the next minute Kai is crouched down beside me, "Come on," he mutters, pulling me up, Kai scans me for any injuries, nothing but just some aching muscles
"I swear I need to Ava proof the whole house," he remarks, shaking his head and pulling me to the seat. Kai wraps an arm around me as I sit between his legs, trapped in.
"I was just hugging the floor, it seemed abit lonely, people are always stomping over it like it has no feelings," I pout, folding my arms and leaning back against Kai's chest.
"Okay Miss floor hugger, that abandons her boyfriend to hug floors," Kai mocks, holding me closer to him
"Kai stop being jealous of the floor,"
After a few minutes, I got really bored with just sitting down so I move away from Kai's hold and stand up,
"Where are you going?" Kai asks, moving his eyes from me and the tv
"Nowhere" I sharpishly smile and walk behind and start sliding against the floor while pretending to be superwomen
"Ava, I swear if you fall again I'm going to confiscate all your sock," Kai scold, turning around to glare at me
I swear why is he such a mum?
Ignoring him I continue, "Super potato to the rescue,"
I notice Kai staring at me with amusement and admiration, so I flash him a smile
"AGhhh Damn it!,"I yelp, falling down again and groaning in pain while Kai groans in annoyance
"Hell-AHH!" Something heavy trips and falls over me almost turning me into a pancake
"Kai, help!" I yell, the heavy thing over me killing my back, instantly Kai gets up and shoves the thing, helping me up.
I stumble a little and hold onto Kai, "What the popcorn, I thought a building fell over me,"I exaggerate, looking down at the body that was rolling around in pain
"Seriously, why are you laying on the floor?!" a familiar looking man groans and helps himself up, dusting of invisible things of his clothes
"Well, you have eyes!" I yell back,
"Dude, what are you doing here, you almost squashed my girlfriend," Kai glares at the other guy, walking us both over to the seat
"Ahhhh now I see why you are actually home these days," the guy smirks, staring at us both and taking a seat besides me, leaving me in between the two
"There's a circle of seats, why you sitting so close," Kai says, scowl at the guy
The guy rolls his eyes, "stop being childish, never would I have thought I'd see this side of you," kai huffs in response and the guy continues, "I'm Ethan by the way,"
"Okay human squasher," I roll my eyes at him and introduce myself, "Ava,"
"Wait, we've met before," the guy narrows his eyes, trying to remember
"Ah I think we have, one time I fell and this heavy thing fell on me, I discovered that it was a mini wardrobe and now I think that mini wardrobe was you, I guess it found a body to possess so it can go around squashing people," I say, it was an actually true story, I still have a scar on my back from the glass on the wardrobe
"Ha Ha, very funny," he glares at me
"A wardrobe fell on you, how?" Kai finally speaks up beside me, raising his brows in question
I just shrug in response which causes him to narrow his eyes at me, I got pushed into the wardrobe, I fell then the wardrobe fell, nothing much to explain really
"You're Ava from the cafe!" Ethan suddenly shouts, pointing at me
"Well done, you want a sticker," I smile, looking actually seriously, then roll my eyes at him
"So you guys living together," he asks
Before Kai could answer I speak, "Temporarily yes," I have a feeling Kaipoop wasn't very happy with my answer, since I could feel his stare burning the back of my head
Ethan seems happy with the response and smirks, "I mean I see why you're actually home nowadays, the first place I went to was the office and they said that you usually actually leave on time these days,"
"Why do you keep saying that?" I ask, feeling Kai shifting on the sofa a little
"Well lover boy here was actually never home like never, he might as well have moved into his office," Ethan says, leaning back against the armrest
"Really why?" this time I turn to Kai, at first he shrugs but I had a feeling I knew what the answer was, using work as a distraction.
"Anyways, I just came to see my brother before the final decision," Ethan gets up, stretching
"There was no need, I'll see you tomorrow," Kai gets up as well and they both nod at each other
"Bye Ava," Ethan waves, walking away
"Bye human squasher,"

I finally process what Ethan said,
"Brother!" I yell, standing up
