Mae's P.O.V
Everything was finally over.
All the wars I fought through the year have finally come to an end. So then why am I so unhappy that Dylan hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet? I mean it's been a month since we kissed at the hospital. And can you believe he still dares to ask me what's wrong!
"Hey Maemae?" He says next to me, where does he keep coming up these nicknames? "What are you doing later today?"
"Not much. Why?" My interest sparks and I wait with anticipation what he would say next.
"Well...I need to tell you something later tonight, so could you make time for me?" He looks at me and swifts his hand into his hair making it go to the side in the most attractive way possible. Holy hell someone help me. I can't with this boy.
"Mmm well today is friday so uh why not?" I smile at him and he grins. "But it better be good I'm binge watching stranger things."
"What!? Without me? What episode?"
"Sorry I really needed to know becuase-"
"Lalalalalala. I don't even wanna know!" He covers his ear with his hands. "I trusted you! I gave you my netflix account." Well in my defense he didn't come over for a week, I couldn't wait anymore!
"I'm really sorry, you know I don't have the biggest patience for these things." I look at him with puppy eyes while he looks at me angry but soon his gaze softens and he embraces me in a bone crushing hug. "I...can't... breathe..." He let go and chuckled.
"Sorry." I looked up at him, keep in mind that his is like 7 inches taller than me. He looks down at me and soon I feel his breath near my lips, but the bell rings. He sighs and I chuckle.
"Well that's my cue." I tell him to which he grins. I grab my stuff from my locker and wave goodbye but I feel someone slap my butt. I gasp and look back flustered. He smirks and laughs. I scoff and groan at the pain that it left.
I kept thinking what he might tell me tonight as I was walking to class, I enter and sit down, finally the teacher enters and my mind drifts off towards the lesson.
I hear the bell and sigh of relief. School is over, I thought to myself.
I get to my locker and put my book back, grab my essentials and make my way towards the exit of school, I await the bus and I'm off.
As I'm getting through the gates and say my greeting's to all the bodyguards, I notice someone in my room window but they soon shut the curtain. My stomach drops. This can't be happening again!
"Hi Mr.Malccom. Could you come with me? I may or may not have seen someone in my room window." He obliges my order and escorts me to my room. Man I'm honestly tired of this shit. We get to my room and Mr.Malccom takes his gun out and checks everywhere except the closet, we get to the closet and he opens the door.
Someone jumps out. "Maemae!" Dylan screams happily to which I scream of fear and Mr.Malccom gets infront of me. "Woah! Don't worry I'm not loaded, hungry! but not loaded." Dylan says as he raises his hands to the air.
I sigh once again from relief and let Mr.Malccom leave without a worry. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I declare to Dylan and hug him, he hugs me back.
"I'm sorry... I wanted to surprise you." He whispers in my ear and buries his face onto my neck. "I probably shouldn't have done that, after all you haven't recovered from being kidnapped." He says softly. I let go of him and make him look at me, eye to eye.
"I'm fine." I tell him. "But make sure to do a more creative surprise I mean coming here without food or gifts. That's just a shame of a surprise." I chuckle as I pinch his cheek. "You think I didn't bring gifts?" He say to me and pinches my cheeks. "Well I don't see anything." I talk back. "To early to judge are we?" He says and lets go of me while grabbing something out of his bag. Me being the curious person I am keep looking at what he might take out of his bag. He keeps rumbling until, "Aha! Got it." He took out a bag of gummy bear, a pack of popcorn and 4 cans of ginger ale. "How did you know that's my favorite drink? And where did you find it?" I ask him flustered. He just grins and says, "I'm a paparazzi, remember?"
I hide a smile forming my face and just nod. I turn on my t.v and go to netflix. "So, Netflix and chill?" I heard him say while getting on my bed. This makes me laugh pretty loud and I say, "Are you serious?" He laughs with me and responds, "I meant the literal way." And I see a hint of blush forming in his cheeks. I giggle to myself and sit next to him and put stranger things that I've been dying to see.
Half way throught the episode and I'm getting sleepy, I see Dylan get up to go make more popcorn as I hear him leave the room I find a green sweater which smells like him, I rest my head and cuddle with it. Soon my eyes closed and I drifted off to sleeping.
I did hear some shuffling around the room but decided to ignore it, I felt someone beside me but again decided to ignore it. And then I felt the best lips on my lips give me a peck, I slightly wake up but can't clearly see who it is. They chukle and I feel their lips kissing me again, this I responded and kissed back. Best way to wake up EVER. The kiss got more intense and he's laying on top of me. He stops kissing me and rest his head on mine. "We should stop before it goes much further." I hear his familiar voice. I whine and grab his face to kiss him again, we ended up smiling between kisses. I knew along who he was. Dylan. He starts kissing my neck, then my cheeks, my chin, my forehead, my nose but then he stops.
"Ok, ok we should stop." He whispers to my ear. I'm still half asleep and say, "How come you haven't asked me to be your girlfriend yet... Is it so hard to ask? I'm gonna say yes either way.." I immediately cover my mouth with my hand and I'm wide awake now.
I try to get up but realize I'm face to face with his gorgeous face, I look at his stunning brown eyes and admire every bit of his face. Then I look at his pinkish lips and he notices. "Mae Caroline Roslyn De Von..." He pauses and I say, "Well you know my entire name." He grins and nods. "I know it's been a very bumpy rollercoaster, but I would like the honor of calling you my girlfriend, my future, my everything. Will you accept this pitful lonesome boy who is madly falling in love with you?" He finishes and I'm astonished, just like that he said the words i've been dying to here ever since we met at the bus station.
"Hella yeah!" I say excitedly and hug him, he hugs me back while saying thank you many times.
"How am I so lucky to have met you?" I say to him, he puts a strand of my hair behind my ear and says, "The lucky one is me." He get closer to me and kisses me like never before. I absolutely adore this boy.
We cuddle and continue to watch the episode, he gets scared in some parts and hides his face in a pillow and laugh every time and hug him.
Everthing that has happened to me through out this year was for a reason and I'm glad it did.
This is simply the end of the beginning.
