Christmas Eve had arrived. Despite the fact that they were already married, Rory allowed herself to be talked into a grand reenactment of the ceremony in the church to appease the town. Immediately afterward, the guests would convene to the Dragonfly Inn for an all-night reception.

Rory worked day and night for the last three weeks to get final touches put on the event. She was able to enlist a lot of help from her mother and grandmother, who both did more than she could ever thank them for.

At Taylor's insistence, Rory had purchased a new dress for the ceremony that accentuated her beauty without being too much. In a beautiful shade of cream, the strapless dress contained beading and lace along the bodice and a flowing skirt that hung just above the floor. She paired it with cream colored flats, while simple jewelry completed her look.

Logan had been instructed to purchase— or, at the least, rent— a tuxedo with a cream colored shirt and tie. He jokingly asked Taylor if he, too, could get cream colored flats. Taylor made it clear he was less than amused.

Walking into the inn, Rory was speechless at the transformation. Twinkle lights were strung all over the ceilings, creating a romantic atmosphere that was perfect. Flowers were also everywhere the eye could see, various colors and scents that fought to be identified.

Tables were set up throughout the living room and partly into the dining room while also allowing for a dance floor to be created. Emily had told her in passing that, once dinner was served and cleared, some of the tables would be relocated into the foyer to allow more room for party goers to dance and others to have a quieter area for visiting.

Each table held a candle that flickered with the lights, adding to the feeling. Rose petals were scattered around the plates, adding a dash of color against the off-white tablecloths. Chair covers in a cream adorned the tables, beckoning for guests to sit and celebrate.

Overall, the effect was more than Rory could have ever dreamed.

After getting ready at the inn, a limo appeared to drive the Gilmore women to the church. After parking at the curb, Rory couldn't help but smile as a memory from Lane's wedding came to mind.

Fifty-eight seats and sixty-two Koreans!

After hemming and hawing for a few moments, music filled the church and the reenactment began. Tears fell from the eyes of those who watched Rory grow. Logan and Rory's kiss elicited cheers from the pews as the town erupted with happiness at getting to witness the second wedding.

Rushing back into the limo, Logan helped Rory in before climbing in beside her. They were quickly driven away, while guests clamored to their cars to make their way to the inn. At Logan's request, the driver took his time heading to the reception, instead slowly driving around the town.

Rory and Logan sat with their bodies touching, her arm woven through his.

"The town looks so peaceful," she observed as the gazed out the window.

"It does. I'm happy we settled here. This is definitely where we are meant to raise Lora. And where we'll raise our other children."

Rory nodded but said nothing.

Thirty minutes later, Logan gave word to head to the Dragonfly. He figured most people would have made their way over so he and his bride could make the grand entrance that he knew Taylor wanted.

As they pulled up the steps, numerous faces could be seen plastered in the windows, clearly on the lookout for Logan and Rory. Voices were heard, likely announcing their arrival.

The doors were thrown open and bubbles filled the porch. Rory laughed and she turned her head to avoid having the bubbles float into her face. Logan just stared at her, amazed again that the two had found their ways back together.

The reception was perfect. Sookie catered a delicious meal. She also outdid herself on the cake. It was a three tiered, square cake with Italian buttercream frosting and red roses. The cake layers were chocolate, vanilla, and lemon. It was astounding.

As Emily planned, once the meal concluded and clean up was through, numerous tables were swiftly moved to the foyer. This allowed for most of the guests to fill the dance floor and enjoy the rest of the evening mingling with those they saw almost daily but who were dear to their hearts.

Logan selected a special song to dance with Rory to: "Reflecting Light" by Sam Philips. He said that he remembered Lorelai talking about that being the first song she danced with Luke to at his sister's wedding so he wanted to add their own sentiment to the song. The gesture meant a lot to Lorelai, who stood to the side, wiping her eyes as she watched her eldest daughter dance around the inn she created.

Once the cake was served and the dancing resumed, Rory tugged at Logan's arm and gestured to the foyer. They found it empty and took a moment to embrace as they took the scene in.

It had been a long time coming, from their first meeting at Yale to the break ups and make ups. Logan and Rory were meant to be together. Not only was Lora proof of it, but so was the strength of their love for each other that had been tested time and time again.

Logan dipped his head so that his lips could capture Rory's. She softly sighed, content with how her life was now turning out.

Part of her couldn't help but think that her grandfather had helped her find her way back.

Richard did always have her back in the ways that counted.

Rory smiled at Logan, ready to share some recently learned news.

"Logan."

"Yeah?"

"I'm pregnant."

The End.
