Dean and Jade were backstage at Smackdown Live because Dean wanted his girls out with him but since Smackdown was in Connecticut, DJ was staying with her cousins for a week
"I just can't believe mom you know, I can't believe she'd relapse, I thought she cared but I guess it's just like old times," Dean said
Jade sighed and gave him a look of sympathy
"I understand Dean, I've been through the same thing feeling like no one cared," Jade said
"No you haven't! You've been prissy your old life, I've been through hardships in life, what's your damage Jade? Some guy threw punch on you for prom? Big deal," Dean said carelessly, not realizing Jade had tears in her eyes
"Newsflash, my life doesn't have a happy ending like yours." Dean said
"I'm not your happy ending? Good to know," Jade said, choked up
"Jade," he began as she turned
"And you know what? My life may not been as hard as yours but I'm trying my best to understand and you have no right to call me out on it, I love you Dean and I'm trying to be there for you, but what sense is it that when I try, you snap at me?" Jade said
"I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, without you." Jade said, walking away from him
"Jade, Jade please wait," Dean called, but made no move to follow her because he knew she needed some time
She picked up her bag and went towards the door, being stopped by Randy
"Whoa kiddo? Where you off to?" Randy asked, folding his arms and smiling at her
"Vegas, I can't be here right now," she answered shortly, ready to just leave
"Is this about Dean?" Randy asked, concerned
"Something like that," she replied
Randy opened his mouth, but she stopped him
"I really don't wanna hear this right now," she said putting up a hand
Randy shut his mouth and moved away from her way
"Safe travels kiddo," he spoke
"Thanks Rands," she said, leaving and walking to her car
She got in and began driving, Dean's words ran around in her mind, she clearly wasn't paying attention as the pair of headlights came close and sent her body crashing against her seat, she remembered crawling out of the car and lying on the road as spots danced in front her eyes
"Dean," she whispered before her eyes closed
Meanwhile, Dean had just finished his match and was thinking about Jade with Seth and Roman in his locker room when a sinking entered his stomach, when his phone rang
It was an unknown number, he shrugged
"Yello?" He answered smiling
He couldn't believe it, tears started filling his eyes and he collapsed in tears
How could this happen?!
