Jade hadn't been able to talk to Dean until the next day when they were in the gym
She had her break so she sat on the floor, catching her breath when she decided it was the right moment
"So, I think you owe me and explanation," she said, looking at him
"What?" He asked, looking at her
"You owe me an explanation for why you don't want kids," she elaborated
Dean sighed and leaned against a weight crate
"Babe, you wanna know the truth?" He asked her
"Would be nice," she replied, nodding
"I'm scared," he said
She looked at him puzzled
"Scared of what?" She asked
"What if I'm not a good dad, what if I turn out like my dad, I can't let that happen, I don't wanna let myself screw that kid's life," he said
Jade gave him a surprised look
"You're serious?" She asked standing up and walking to him, wrapping her arms around his neck
"You'll make a great dad," she began as he wrapped his arms around her waist
"I see you with my sisters, and the fans, you're a natural dad Dean, and I want you to be my kid's father, you're dad didn't know the amazing young man he was giving up, you're gonna love our kids so much and they're gonna love you so much, I guarantee it, and the kids will always love you, everything's gonna work out," she promised him
He contemplated for a minute before he grinned and nodded
"Okay, I'm open to it," he said, smile widening as she squealed
"I would like to thank Randy Orton for his great advice," she said, going back to her reps
"Randy gave you good advice? Damn he's changed," Dean said, shaking his head playfully
"Speaking of Randy, he wants us to be Brooklyn's godparents," she mentioned
"Really?" Dean asked, giving her an incredulous look, she nodded
"Tell him we'll do it, only because he gave you good advice," Dean said, seriously, but the last part sounded like a joke
Jade chuckled and smiled discreetly at him, as he began on the punching bag
