Jade was backstage tonight, she wasn't scheduled for anything, but Dean asked her here, so she came for him, she was in catering when Randy sat in front of her
"Hello," he said with a smile
"Hey Rands," she replied with a smile
"How's it going?" He asked
"Not so good," she replied in a sigh
"What? What's wrong?" He asked, looking concerned
"Remember how we always talked about having kids together?" She asked, looking away from him
"Yeah," he replied
"I asked Dean about it, cuz you know, I love WWE but I wanna have a family, I don't wanna do this forever," she said, picking up her coffee
"Totally, I understand, so what'd he say?" He asked, putting his hand on his face
"He basically said he wasn't ready, though I love him enough to wrap string around the world 9 million times, he's so incredible with the fans and my little sisters but, you know how long I wanted to be a mom, to be what I never had. I can sacrifice alot for him, but I don't think I can sacrifice my kids," Jade said, looking at Randy
Randy paused in a silence before he looked to be in thought, he huffed a laugh while scratching his neck
"Did he give you an explanation?" Randy asked
"No." Jade replied
"Did you ask for one?"
"No." She replied again
Randy threw his hands in the air
"Well that's what you gotta do, ask him for an explanation, he's got to have a valid reason why he said he didn't want to have kids. And even if he doesn't, I've learned in my life, never say never," Randy said
You're right, I'll ask when we get to the hotel," she promised him, he nodded and they began small talk
"Do you remember when we first got together?" Randy asked, Jade smiled and nodded
"Oh my gosh, the first day I came to WWE and you were in Evolution with my dad, we would always sneak away from the rest of them to be together, you remember how we used to make Dave cover for us?" She replied, laughing at the end
Randy soon followed her laughter
"He was the worst lookout ever, we were making out by the production truck and Dave didn't know we were there but we saw Ric and we pulled away and his eyes got so big, then he pushed Hunter back the way he came," Randy said, making Jade laugh out loud
"You remember this?" Jade asked, searching it on the web
She found it and turned it for him to see the picture
"Awwh, our first in ring kiss, after I spit in Hunter's face," Randy replied
"We did alot to be together," he said, smiling
"We sure did, oh remember when I'd stay with you guys in the Evolution hotel room and you'd have to sleep on the couch, but as soon as my dad would fall asleep after those sleeping pills, you'd end up in my bed, doing things," Jade said, smirking
"Yeah, those were some of the best memories ever, or when you'd beg your dad for your own hotel room and I'd make some bullshit excuse and spend the night with you," Randy said, smiling
"Yeah, that really was fun," she replied, nodding with a smile
His phone dinged and he picked it up
"I gotta get going, I'm needed in your dad's office," he said sadly
"I'll walk with you," she insisted, she needed to see her dad anyway
Randy nodded and they began walking
"So I wanted to ask you and Dean something," he began
"Oh yeah?" She asked, looking straight ahead
"Would you guys like to be Brooke's godparents?" He asked
Jade paused
"Like are you serious?" Jade asked
Randy turned to her
"Dead serious," he replied
"Does Kim know you're asking us?" She asked
"She's actually the one who told me to ask you," Randy replied making Jade smile
"I'll ask Dean, but I'm sure it'll be positive," she said as they stopped in front of her dad's office
"See you around?" He asked, hand on the doorknob
"Definitely," she replied, leaning to hug him, he felt the same, he smelt the same, he was warm and he hadn't changed
"Make sure you ask Dean," he said, making sure Jade nodded before he walked into the office
Jade smiled and went off to find Dean
