Dear Diary,
3 days ago was April Fools Day but we were so busy, we hardly got time for pranks and jokes! Today William took me to Waterstones on Brompton Road just around the corner from the palace. William loves books and so does Kate. Kate couldn't come as she had a dentist appointment.
Besides it would let Wills and I spend some time together. When we set foot in the shop, the amazing smell of coffee and latte came swiftly to my nose. I always have a strange feeling about Waterstones. It is glorious when it's cold day like it was today, it was raining. William and I dashed into the shop from the protected car and as soon as we entered, heat filled us.
There is always a warmth about the place. There is always a smell of coffee from the Costa Coffee at the back and nice comfy seats, you know luxuries if you've found a book to bury your nose in.
William and I walked out with two bags each, filled to the brim with books. On my list of purchases there was:

When we left, we climbed into the car and we set off again to the palace. Kate and I put my books away on my bookshelves and we settled in for a quiet night. William and Kate watched some TV while I got my Maori lesson with Maria.

Maori is getting really easy now that I'm speaking it more often. Maria is a really good teacher and I am really prepared to visit Australia now!
