a unpleasant meeting

I woke to the sounds of splashing water and someone yelling at some one else "stop splashing​ around you'll scared the fish away" I heard the person say "okay dad sorry" I heard a child say. I opened my eyes to a big night fury sitting near the water and a baby night fury sitting near the big one "dad, how long until she wakes up?" I heard him ask "I don't know, why don't you ask" I heard the dad say as I was standing behind them "she's awake dad, can i play with her" the baby one said as it looked at me then to its father "why don't you ask her" the father said "uh because she can't understand us duh " the little one said as I started to look for a way out of here "well you won't know if you don't try" the big one said as the little one dicied to walk up to me. It was about knee hieght and had scales as black as the night and bright green eyes, filled with curiosity and joy. As the little one got closer I started to back up until I tripped on a rock and started to crawl backwards "dad why is she backing away from me" the little one asked as I went wide eyed, As I stared at the little one and the big one, almost crying out of fear. "W-what do you want from me" I said fear present in my voice "see dad" the little one said as it walked away with its ears down and tail dragging behind it "no one likes me" it mumbled as it walked away towards a cave. I felt my heart ripping in half, as I saw a clear liquid dripping from its eyes. 'im going to regret this' "w-wait little one" I said as I slowly got up and moved towards it and quickly thought of something to say or ask "what do you want" it said as it turned around to look at me "can i... Uh... Feel your wing?" I asked as I looked at the floor then to it "s-sure" I then walked up to it and started to pet its wing 'so soft yet rough' and then pet its neck 'it looks like its enjoying this' as I slowly made my way under its chin but I saw its face and stopped and looked at it as it looked at me "what's wrong" I just stared at it them I hugged it and whispered in its ears "I'm sorry" then it began to purr slightly and I heard its dad say "you got a keeper there lad" and I slightly blushed after a while decoding what he was saying then I heard the little one yell, embarrassed, at his dad saying "really dad, you just had to go there" I giggled then decided to have a little fun myself "well its a possibility" I said fake wondering to my self "really you too" the little one started to storm off as I cautiously walked up to his dad "young one, when will you realise we will not hurt you" I sighed as I sat down and looked up at him "sorry" I said then wondered "how old is he?" Then the dragon looked down at me and tilted his head to the side "who? My son?" I looked down a little then said "yeah" the father then looked up and closed his eyes then answered me "he is 14" I then gasped slightly "we are the same age" the father looked at me then back up "well then its going to suck for you" I wondered why but then noticed something "your son has a name does he not" the father looked at me sideways "no he doesn't" I then whispered a little yes to myself then looked up at him "may I name him?" I asked as I looked at the pouting night fury "yes" I the looked up right away and said "shadow" he then looked at me and looked back up "I like it" I then walked over to shadow and told him about his name and shadow loved it and started to jump around
