Jasper yelled "Raven, you did it!"
Murphy panicked and climbed up the ladder.
I stood up and held my head, groaning in pain.
Then I opened the knot on the ladder and Bellamy fell to the ground.
I walked to him and kneeled down.
I put a hand on his cheek "Breath! come no, Bell! breath!"
He was trying to catch his breath.
Jasper and Octavia rushed inside.
I looked at them "He's upstairs"
Bellamy sat up, still out of breath "Murphy!"
He stood up and yelled "Murphy! It's over"
He climbed up the ladder and tried to open the latch but Murphy had locked it.
Bellamy hammered against it "there's only one way out of this for you now!"
Then something exploded.
Bellamy opened the hatch and climbed upstairs "Murphy!"
Smoke came down.
I climbed up the ladder and Jasper followed me.
Everywhere was smoke.
There was a hole in the wall. Bell, Jasper and i looked out of it.
Me "son of a bitch"
Jasper "that guy knows how to make an exit"
We saw him running into the woods.
Jasper "Should we go after him?"
Bellamy "Grounders will take care of Murphy"
Me "We've got other problems right now"
Bellamy "we're going after Clarke, Finn and Monty"
Jasper looked surprised.
Bellamy "you and Raven were right. We don't abandon our own. Two guns..you and me. That's it. Raven stays here to build up defenses. Melissa stays here to keep everything in check. We lost a day because of this, and our gunpowder"
He yelled down the hatch "Raven!"
Jasper "Bellamy, Wait!.Look, i just.."
He hugged him "Thank you"
Then he let go of Bellamy.
Jasper "Long way from 'whatever the hell you want'"
Bellamy smiled.
The radio went on "All gunners! We got movement outside the south wall!"
I climbed down the ladder and ran out.
My headache can wait. Everyone had their guns out and aimed at the gate.
Miller "Wait! hold your fire! Clarke and Finn! Open the gate!"
They opened the gate and Clarke and Finn ran inside.
Clarke ran to me "Hey, we heard an explosion. What happened?"
Bellamy "Murphy happened !"
I flinched. I didn't know he was behind me.
Jasper hugged Clarke "Thank god. Where have you been?. Where's Monty?"
Clarke asked confused "Monty's gone?"
Finn "Clarke, we need to leave, now. All of us do"
Me "Finn, what are you talking about?"
Finn "there's an army of grounders, unlike anything we've ver seen, coming for us right now. We need to pack what we can and run"
Bellamy "Like hell we do. We knew this was coming"
Octavia "Bell, we're not prepared. "
Me "and we still have time. Besides, we have nowhere to go"
Bellamy "Where would we be safer than behind these walls?"
Finn "There's an ocean to the east. People there will help us"
Octavia "you saw Lincoln?"
Finn nodded "yeah"
Bellamy "you expect us to trust a Grounder?"
Me "Then trust me."
He looked at me.
Me "I trust Lincoln. "
Bellamy raised an eyebrow "like you trusted Murphy"
That was a low blow.
Bellamy looked at the crowd "This is our home now! We built this from nothing with out bare hands!"
Me "We bled for it and some of us died for this"
Bellamy "and are buried behind this wall in the ground. Our ground! The grounders think they can take that away. They think that because e came from the sky, we don't belong here. But they're yet to realize one very important fact: We are on the ground now, and that means we are grounders!"
They all cheered.
I yelled"Grounder's with guns!"
Bellamy "damn right! i say let 'em come!"
Clarke "Bellamy's right! if we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this. And god knows, in this world, we could be faces with something even worse tomorrow.But that doesn't change the simple fact that if we stay here, we will die tonight. So pack your things. Just take what you can carry, now"
They all do what they were told. It started to rain a bit.
Suddenly we heard Raven "Help! someone help me!"
She was leaning against the drop ship and holding her waist.
We ran to Raven. Finn picked her up.
Me "That son of a bitch Murphy shot her"
Clarke "Get her into the drop ship"
He carried her inside.
Bellamy held Clarke back "Clarke, leaving here is a mistake"
Clarke "The decision's been made"
Me "Haven't you been told that crowds make bad decisions"
Bellamy "just ask Murphy. Leaders do what they think is right"
Clarke "i'm in and you're out. "
She looked at me "It's on you to decide"
Both looked at me.
I sighed "We're going to die either way"
She nodded and walked inside.
Bellamy looked at me.
I raised an eyebrow "What?"
Bellamy"I'm sorry, ok?"
I took a deep breath.
Bellamy asked frustrated "What do you want me to say?"
I shrugged my shoulder "that's the thing. I don't wanna hear anything from you"
Bellamy "Tell me at least that you're fine"
Me "My head hurts"
Bellamy shook his head "that's not what i meant"
I nodded, knowing exactly what he meant "i know"
He shook his head and walked into the drop ship.
I looked around "Why aren't you packing? on your asses and start packing your stuff!"
They all rushed and did their things. I flinched when i heard Raven yell.
I picked up a piece of cloth and held it against my head wound.
I looked around and yelled "Connor! Miller!"
They ran to me.
Connor "What's up, boss?"
Me "Raven is hurt. she won't be able to walk. Means she's going to hold us back. Can you build something to carry her?"
Miller nodded "On our way, boss"
I nodded "but hurry up"
They nodded and walked away.
