A deafening silence engulfed around. No one dared to utter a word. Shocked to the core everyone remained silent in there seats I tried to break the silence but as usual I heard him before I see him.
"Congratulations" Bryan snapped us back to the reality as always chipper as ever.
I quickly grasped the lead and wasted no time to show my exemplary acting skill.
"How? When? What?" I gasped at them with wide eyes and an affordable fake surprised expression on my face, taking the spot light this time.
As in cue rest of them joined me and started throwing question at them everyone at same time which only made a nonsense commotion. With annoyed and surprised equation in balance.
Fred banged his fist on the table shouting no and placing his hand on his heart with a mock deceleration of his broken heart. George following his lead some how manage fake tears too. I simply saw them in awe and thought to myself I can never surpass there skills.
Bill frowned " I wasn't expecting this, hah"
"You got me bro" Sara said nodding along with Bill.
I cross my hands since when Bill and Sara became so close. I am lacking behind.
"You've got to be kidding me" Percy smirked at Ron. As if finding it as a joke. Hermione glared at him which wiped his smirk off.
"About time my boy! About time" Mr Weasley clapped his hands together and smiled till moon.
I glanced at mum and found her still rooted in her chair as if she couldn't believe what she just heard, Dad gave her a nudge and she moved out of her happy shock state. In a snap of seconds she reached out to her son and soon to be daughter in law and took her in her embrace kissing there foreheads and congratulating to them with adorations beaming in her eyes.
I cooed looking at them and a satisfactory smile took place on my lips no longer to hold back I jumped next to hug them. I hugged Hermione first as mum was not in mood to release Ron any sooner I giggled seeing that as Ron desperately trying to calm our weeping mum in his arms.
"Congratulations Ro!" I jumped next in his arms as he welcomed me more happily
"Thanks Gin" Ron said affectionately.
I moved back and looked at him straight In his eyes and exclaimed "How!!"
He gave me a laid back smile and shrugged giving me a smug look. I punched his arm lightly before moving around the table as everyone started rotating the table congratulating the soon would be couple.
"You owe me a explanation mister" Sara huffed placing her hand on her hips.
"Who owe you what now?" I placed my hand on her shoulder and looked at her face. She looked annoyed!
"What got ya so riled up" I asked her shacking her a little.
"Fred told me you got engaged!" She stomped her foot angrily.
"Fred said you what?" I laughed at her reply forcing her to look at me. But she kept throwing daggers at Fred. Fred being Fred payed no attention to her whatsoever.
"They played us this time. I can't believe I fall for it too!" Bill grumbled beside me.
"They?" I inquired furrowing my eyebrows.
"George! They made us believe that you and that boy" he indicated Bryan now busy in chatter with Hermione "are in love and got engaged" he slowly exhaled a low laugh.
"And you fall for it? Amazing!" I slowly clapped for there stupidity.
"I am gonna kill him" Sara seethed her teeth.
"Now now, we will get enough chances for that" I tried to persuade her in different directions as knowing her she might actually kill them.
"Wow! That just knocked me out! Wasn't that news heavy?" Fred announced joining our little circle.
Bill and Sara eyes twitched seeing him and at his audacity to fool them and stand in there presences completely unfazed. That's Fred Weasley for you.
"How dare you!!" Sara smacked his head a little to early. I laughed at his uncaught expression.
"That was uncalled for! What did I even do?" Fred whined rubbing the hit spot gently.
"For spreading wrong rumours" I chimed in proud at my bestie.
Fred scrunched his nose in thought when he looked at Sara's mad look his eyes enlightened in mischief and he cracked a smile.
"It was fun, while it lasted" He barked a annoyed laughter and received another friendly punch by Bill this time. It looked friendly but it aired knocked wind out of him as he started coughing and moved away from Bill.
We all laughed at his misery seeing Fred being punched George retreat his steps, but I was fast enough to highlight him as Bill excuses us to see his favourite twin.
I shook my head at there funny banter I missed them so much. I missed home. While looking around I caught a gaze which I was avoiding altogether a silver flicked in his green eyes and he caught me in his hold. I saw a light amusement in his eyes and a small smile making his way for a second when suddenly they turned into cold.
I furrowed at the sudden heart of change but noticed it quickly as I left a presences beside me. Bryan. Yet I don't break the contact as I continued to look further but he blocked me out in cold and eventually averted his gaze. Harry picked his third drink for the evening and drank in one go.
I couldn't help but notice he is going a little hard on drinks lately as I recalled his past encounters in Paris too.
I sighed as I moved my attention to ongoing topic between Sara and Bryan. Sensing Sara grilling Bryan with our possible fling relationship as she is adamant that we do have a fling. I rolled my eyes at her and smirked at Bryan seeing he is finally cracking behind pressure of Sara's ruthless assaults.
"Why don't you ask your friend here, about our first meet" Bryan winked at me and placed his hand on my back just to piss Sara more as her eyes widen at his moment.
He finally decides to play along with her.
"You would want to pass hearing our first unfortunate meet Sara!" I replied back placing my hand on his shoulder winking back.
Brayn puffed up even more when I decided too to play along with him on his side just to torture her some more. Sara being the fool took the bait and stomped her foot and turned away making her way out towards evil idiots the twins.
"She is more scary then the rest of the family" Brayn exhaled removing his hands from me.
I laughed at him I never thought I would see a day where Bryan would be scared of a creature which he is so adamant to love that being 'A Girl'
"You caught her on wrong note, she is very lovely" I patted his arm in sympathy.
"Whatever love" He brushed it off and quickly changed his tone.
"So, your brother got engaged. And you knew it how long?" He asked me taking a sip of Champaign which was opened for the celebration.
"I had no clue" I shamelessly lied to his face.
"Are you mocking me? You knew it forever" he laughed at me.
I gasped at his comment how could he know I was faking it.
"You should have tried this face. Makes much real" Brayn chuckled at my ajar mouth.
"Did I overreact?" I asked him sheepishly.
"A bit. Only if closely watched. But I of course just see through the lie." He flaunts his lie detective skills.
I pulled a face and shrugged yeah may be I did a bit extra. But who cares. Hermione and Ron dint catch it. No one is harm. It's all cool.
"Shut up. Dork" I pushed him aside in no mood to answer.
"Brayn can you come here son?" Mr Weasley called him from some distance.
I smiled at dad but my smile died when I saw Harry standing beside him and he was calling Brayn to join them. I cringed and quickly thought for an excuse but I saw a eager Bryan to rush in as he saw Harry in flesh beside dad.
"Don't" I hissed at him.
"Not in world" He smirked looking at my pale face.
