Having a baby is supposed to be beautiful, a miracle of life created by the love of a man and
woman. Why am I fighting the father of my child and pondering whether or not to gut him in front of
her. My baby's face covered in tears reaching out for me and I can't reach her.
"Irius, give her to me NOW!"
My powers were always in check till this moment it seemed. My body just wouldn't atone to reason.
All that mattered was getting Tamami from Irius and his father. You know, now would be the spot
where I start talking about the whole 'Breaking Dawn' comparison but trust me, Bella could never
come close to what i was going to do to this man if Tamami was near me a few seconds.
"Solstice", I heard Hades begin, "..if you take her now out of anger Zeus will take her from you"
The anger dropped instantly from my thoughts. Would Zeus really take what was rightfully mine? Is
that what happended to my mother and that's the real reason why me and my sister were sent
away? Is that the ultimate price to pay for disobedience? The loss of what you truly want the most? I
finally had a piece of my soul on the outside. Some one who could have a better life than I could
and I woulf guarantee that. I wanted what was best for her. I could care less about the stupid
marriage contract and the laws and guidelines to my powers. I could care less about the world and
those in it. All that mattered was her and her safety...her happiness..her...love.
Don't ask me when I walked into Irius' arms, when the shadows scaling the walls retracted back to
me. Don't ask me why I decided to stay with Irius forever and his wife and the grim reaper of the
underworld. Just know that no matter what happened to the world. I would be holding Tamami
close to my heart as the Earth shattered or grew around us.
