Chapter Two
Percy's POV
1 week later
I ran past an alleyway desparately trying to outrun hell hounds that chased our tails, I was too tired to fight them, I was wounded, I couldn't even lift my sword properly to fend those hell hounds off, I got wounded by a cyclops the other day, it crippled me until I couldn't even lift a sword if it meant saving my life. My Camp Half-Blood shirt was nothing but in tatters, you could barely read the letters that spelt Camp Half-Blood, the orange on the shirt was faded. I had shorts that used to be pants, hell hounds had ripped them from the calf up.
I turned a corner as Nico followed my tail, a large brick wall stood in front of me blocking us from the other end, I turned to Nico as he got the message, we turned around and bolted for it until a snarl echoed through the alleyway, dozens of hell hounds rounded the corner getting us trapped in the alleyway.
"Nico can you shadows travel us" I said in a panick, he shook his head.
"I am already at my limit, if I used shadow traveling again I might go transparent" Nico stated disgustedly, I sighed in sadness, I didn't know it would end like this, especially while Nico was following me.
"Im sorry Nico, I'm very sorry" I said with a frown, if I hadn't run away, Nico would have still be safe on Camp Half-Blood, Nico shook his head looking at me with an angry face
"No, don't say that, I chose to follow you, and I regret nothing, if you dare even think this is your fault, I will have your head on Elysium" The son of hades said.
I laughed a sad laugh "See you on the other side buddy" I said closing my eyes ready to embrace death, Annabeth cheated on me, Poseidon disowned me, my friends were ignoring me, death was the best option. The hell hounds snarled as my eyes went to a close, the pain never came. I opened my eyes and was brought to a knee, the raw power was too much.
A man with a black tuxedo stood before us, he had black hair that seemed to be shining like the stars, he had Galaxy eyes that seemed to swirl in an endless loop. He dusted off the golden dust on his tuxedo and straightened his tie.
"Those hell hounds sure make a mess" The man said dusting off more dust on his tuxedo. Nico and I shared a look, who was this man.
"Oh sorry for not introducing myself, I'm Chaos, the creator" The man said extending his arms.
"If your the creator, can you please create a puppy for me" I said looking at the man named Chaos
"I can create a puppy in a millisecond, you know why?" Chaos said raising his eyebrows
"Because your batman?" I said raising my brows too
"Cuz I'm BATMAN-, wait no, I'm the creator, not batman" Chaos said scratching the back of his head.
"Anyway stand up please, I don't like people bowing to me" Chaos said, I stood up as Nico followed suit
"I saw what you did since you were twelve, I took a particular interest in you when you slayed medusa" Chaos said
"I saw your prime, and I saw your downfall"
"So im here to offer you a new life, you can leave your old life behind and become commander of my army, you save the universe and be rid it of evil, or you can stay here and die of monsters or old age" Chaos said, I looked back at Nico and instantly knew my answer
"I'm sorry Chaos your highness, but no, Nico here risked his life for me, I just can't leave him" I said looking at Nico
"Oh Nico, I'm planning on recruiting him too" Chaos said looking at Nico
"Oh, if that's the case, count me in" I said excited bouncing up and down like a Kid getting candy on Halloween
"As a commander, you command an army obviously, but you also get powers to have a remote chance at fighting evil" He said listing the pros and cons of being the commander
"Nico how about you, do you want to join the Chaos army" Chaos said looking at the son of hades, Nico shrugged
"Sure, I guess" Nico said rubbing the nape of his neck
Chaos snapped his fingers a black swirling portal appearing out of thin air. I looked at Chaos with a questioning look, he nodded and gestured at the portal. I shrugged and went inside
"You could've warned us about the portal now my lunch is on the floor" I said puking on a marble floor, my stomach was not going easy on me today, it always felt queesy when I went in the portal. I walked inside with Nico tailing me, it felt like your body was being torn apart limb by limb, muscle by muscle, cell by cell. It wasn't painful though, it was a weird feeling, it felt like I was being disintegrated and reintegrated back.
I hopped out of the portal and landed on the floor with a thud, I puked out the lunch that I ate, I shook my head wiping the left over bile from my lip.
"You could've at least warned us" I said annoyed
"Yeah, I could've but I wouldn't have been able to see you do that" Chaos said pointing at the green liquid with an smirk. Not going to do portal hopping ever again. A wide magnificent city stood in front of me, futuristic buildings were as tall as skyscrapers, it was an advanced city that looked like it would never fall, it's legacy would never burn, it's buildings would never crumble, as to be expected when it's made by the creator, it was ten times better no a million times better than Olympus, though I may be biased since Anabeth designed it
"This is the Chaos planet" He said with pride as if saying He built this city himself which is probably true.
"Now the powers, you will enhance your powers over water and gain a few more just to be on par with more powerful villains" Chaos stated, the creator extended his arm a floating sphere appearing, the sphere filled with color a mixture of blue, red, green, and black.
"Brace Yourself" Chaos said, the sphere zoomed at lightning speeds and hit me square in the chest, it dissapeared into fine light as pain flooded in my chest. I dropped to the ground panting heavily holding onto my chest for dear life.
"And Nico you have power improvement and shadow manipulation and the power of speed" He said sending another sphere towards Nico, the Son of Hades dropped to the ground with a thud clutching his stomach. I winced in pain as the pain slowly decreased and decreased until there was no pain at all, I slowly stood up rubbing my chest
"Dont worry he will get up in a second like you" He stated, I sighed in relief that I didn't know I was holding.
"When you get your powers you will train them to their full capacity, you and Nico wil train so you can face anything that might come your way" He stated
"Now Perseus Achilles Jackson as commander of the Chaos army you will be one heck of a powerful demigod" He said in an ancient voice, it seemed as though five individuals were talking simultaneously
"Nico di Angelo will second in command of the Chaos Army" He stated, lightning boomed overhead like the river Styx.
"Now as commander you can pick members for your elite army" Chaos stated noticing my look of excitement, he nodded as my theories were proven to be true
"I can pick freely right" I asked, he nodded. I smirked in excitement
1 Month Later
"Come on Percy, Chaos said we needed to go to my fathers palace, your taking awfully long" Nico said annoyed
"Yeah yeah, I'm coming" I replied walking to Nico
"Chaos instructed me to tell you we need code names, he said if they knew out true identity, it will be of great advantage to them" I said to Nico, he replied instantly
"Shadow is good" Nico replied
"That is a pretty good one" I said "I'm gonna be Omega, end of the Greek Alphabet"
"Here, Chaos gave it to us to hide our identities" I said handing a mask to Nico, he took it and placed it on his face
"How do I look" Nico said with a smirk, the mask covered his eyes and nose with shadows, only his lips were visible and even they were slightly concealed.
"You look like your dad" I said, Nico chuckled wholeheartedly
"Chaos, flash us to Hades's palace in the underworld, thanks" I shouted out in the open.
"Do it yourself, there is a reason I gave you power" Chaos said through my mind. I rubbed the back of my neck and though about flashing, my body began to speed at lightning speeds dissapearing into light. Nico and I landed with a thud on the palace of Hades
"WHO DARES ENTER MY PALACE" Hades Boomed, his voice resonating throughout the whole of the room
"That information is classified" I said in a deep voice.
"Nah just kidding, but before we do reveal our identities, promise to never reveal our identities" I said seriously
"Your a puny mortal, you can't order me aro-" Hades didn't get to finish
"Swear on the river Chaos goddamnit" I said as power leaked from my body, it was raw power, similar to that like Chaos
"Okay, Okay, I swear on the river Chaos to not reveal your identities unless told so" Hades said raising his hands.
"Finally" I mentally screamed
Nico pulled of his mask as I followed suit, the God of the underworld stood there mouth agape, his eyes started to brim with tears, he ran to Nico and hugged the demigod, it was a bone crushing one.
"You've been gone for a few hours, where were you" Hades said, I looked up confused
"No we've only been gone for a few months" I corrected, he shook his head
"You've been gone for few hours" Hades said.
"I have got to talk to Chaos about this" I mentally noted
"Father, I'm sorry but we got business to attend to, this might be one of the few visits we actually have" Nico stated, Hades smiled sadly hugging Nico again, the God of the underworld pulled back and looked at me.
"Zeus has been looking for you" Hades stated his eyes locking onto me.
"Why to kill me" I guessed. He nodded
"Beware of Zeus, he's gone more paranoid and power hungry since you have gone, Poseidon became a wet lump, the oceans are in disarray" Hades stated
"As for Zeus, he's Zeus what did you expect of him, and for Poseidon, screw him, serves him right" I said in anger
"Anyway, We're here on Chaos's Orders, revive Zoe Nightshade, Bianca Di Angelo, Castor, Lee Fletcher, Ethan Nakamura, Charles Beckendorf, Silena Bouregard and Luke Castellan" I stated
"You mean, The Chaos, like the one who created the universe" Hades said his eyes wide as saucers, I nodded.
"You always seem to amaze me Perseus Jackson, anyway about your friends, I'll bring them back, orders of Chaos and everything" Hades said with shrug. Hades snapped his fingers as bright light engulfed the whole palace, nine demigod's appeared out of thin air in front of me looking around in confusion. The nine demigod's looked around confused as to why they are in the Palace of Hades.
"I know this palace, the palace of Hades, my dad" Bianca stated and turned towards the God of the underworld himself
"Why are we here" Bianca asked her eyebrows raised, Hades pointed towards Nico and I. They looked at us like we were ghosts
"Percy?" They asked in unison.
"Yes, I'm the Percy Jackson" I said scratching the back of my head.
"Yo Perce, been a while hasn't it" Beckendorf said slinging his arm around my shoulder
"Yeah Percy, sorry about the, erm, traitor incident in the war with Kronos" Silena said shyly.
"So Percy how's life" Castor said patting my shoulder
"Eh, took a turn for the worse" I said bitterly.
"Hello, Percy, and oh gods Nico, you look like one of those villains I mock you about in the television" Bianca said giving Nico a hug
"Haha, nice to see you too sis" Nico said hugging his sister he hasn't seen for years.
"Been a long time hasn't it" a voice said, I turned behind me and saw two particular people. Ethan and Luke
"Yeah it has, so, still traitors or did you change for the better" I asked bitterly, they paled and stepped away.
"Nah I'm just messing with you, I forgave you guys a long time ago" I said giving them a hug
"And Lee, wow it's been a really long time, last time I saw you, you were killing monsters left right front and center in the battle of Manhattan" I said high fiving the son of Apollo.
"And Zoe, how is the Modern English going" I said jokingly
"Actually Luke taught me how to do modern English" Zoe said, I was shocked to say the least. I turned towards Luke and gave him a thumbs up, the son of Hermes chuckled.
"So, I was given instructions by Chaos, the creator, to recruit you for the army of Chaos, you can join or remain in Elysium, the Chaos Army is basically an army of heroes and soldiers and save the universe and stuff, so will you guys join or not" I said seriously
"Of course we will join" They said in unison
"Good"
"Now choose a code name you must keep your identities hidden"I said
"I'll Be Alpha" Luke said
"I'm thinking I should be Constellation" Zoe stated
"Love of course" Silena stated placing an arm around Beckendorf
"Yeah I will be Forge" He said with a smug look
"Arrow for me" Lee said getting an arrow from his quiver
"Im gonna go with Sailor, because of the whole boat thing exploding incident" Ethan said
"And yeah, I'll go Vine" Castor said
"No your code name will be Sugar" I said
"Wha, What, no that's a horrible code name" Castor complained
"Go with whatever you want, I'm gonna call you Sugar though" I said stiffing a laugh
"I'll just go with Night" Bianca said with a shrug
"Nice names" I said simply snapping my finger as a portal appeared out of thin air, they ooh'ed and ah'ed.
"Let's go to chaos planet" I said excitedly. We went through the portal as the feeling of being disintegrated and reintegrated was felt, for the second time this day, we landed with a thud on the ground. I looked at My friends and saw they were all on the verge of throwing up, their faces were all green and stuff.
"Here have a bucket" I said and handed them all buckets, they threw up on the iron buckets. I rolled my eyes
"Come on Chaos planet is right there" I stated waving in front of them, each one of them looked like they were amazed beyond belief, they examined the city with wide eyes and open mouths.
"Come on move it and also close your mouths you might catch flies "I said, they all closed their mouths in embarrassment.
"Move" I commanded, Luke took a step and stopped his eyes still fixated on the city
I facepalmed
"This is gonna be hard " I stated with a sighed rubbing my temples.

How did you guys like the edited version, was it better, was it worse, probably not, or probably yes, I really dunno. Editing this chapter was a real challenge, I have a test tomorrow you guys know. But as a wise man said "Frick Skool".
So yeah I'm gonna study now, probably ask a friend for a crash course on Math, but otherwise see you guys, comment if you think something is wrong and grammar, typos all that stuff. Feedback is always appreciated, unless you one of those trollers that just want to say really bad support.
