The Kwami crew sailed lazily across the sea till there was an unexpected ambush by the confederation through the fog. The crew is put under the brig as prisoners. Marinette was assumed to be a captive and took her away to speak to the general. Nino and Adrien are trapped together in one cell. Nino tugged fiercely at the cuffs around his wrists, but to no avail. The damn things didn't give in the slightest. The tips of his shoes scarcely scraped the floor. And his wrists were going numb from supporting his weight. These guys weren't messing around. They were frisked from head to toe. No gun, no rope, his sword confiscated, and any other of their weapons.
Chat angrily slam the wall of the ship. Then watch Nino start hitting head against the door in annoyance. Guards were placed in front of each cell.
"How the heck they got us!"Tortuga yelled in anger.
"Felix knows where we're headed it was only a matter of time." Chat groan.
"They took Marinette that all I'm worried about, she doesn't know other people," Tortuga said worriedly.
"She is a 'maiden' through the confederate, she won't be harmed that all it matters." Chat stated blankly.
"But will she say anything?"Tortuga questioned worriedly as he continued to hit his against the wood board for the next couple of hours.
"Where am I?" Marinette wiggled from the grip of Captain Felix who was taking her to General Hawkmoth captain room.
"M'lady you are safe, away from my brother and his crew they will no longer cause you harm," Felix reassured in a serious tone that made her not be reassured. She had never been more scared of humans than she was now.
"Leave me alone." She whimpered as they enter a bright elaborate captain quarter.
"Miss please relax you will no longer be under these conditions of captivity as those ruthless pirates kept you in. You will be sent home soon" a tall figure appears, "I'm General Hawkmoth, leader of the Akuma confederation, these criminals will be punished for what have they done."
Marinette just sat frozen in shock, she didn't know what to say as she saw a small frame photo and made the connection of who was his blood.
"So, uh, how's the- How's the escape plan coming?" Chat growled as Nino continued hitting the wall.
Nino stopped, "All right. All right. Wait! -I'm getting something. -Yeah. Okay! Here's the plan. In the dead of night, we get Marinette and our crew and hijack our boat, and then find our treasure."
"Get Marinette and our crew, yeah?
"Yeah."
"Then somehow hijack our boat from Felix and my dad."
"You got it!"
"Great. Sensational. And that that's your plan, is it?"Chat yelled in sarcasm tone.
"That's pretty much it," Tortuga said dumbfounded.
"Well, I like it. -So, how do we get on deck?" Chat pointed out.
"Umm. In the dead of night, you and I get Marinette and free our crew, -hijack our ship.." Nino quickly says before being cut off by Chat.
"Uh, great." He whined.
"Okay, what's your idea, smart guy?"
"Wh-Wh-What do you mean? Don't ask me that! You're the one with the plans on how to escape. - Wait, I-I have an idea." Chat started to signal Kim. But the guard looked at him in suspicion.
"No more games sir Agreste." The guard slammed the cell door with the staff and walked away.
Chat mournfully shakes his head. "After all, I'd done for that pompous brother of mine. Teaching him the ways of the gun, and even teaching him the secret handshake. Oh well, we're making the night plan of yours a little earlier." Chat eyes gleamed a glowing green.
To Nino's surprise, Chat does the unthinkable. It takes some rough twisting and yanks, but he manages to slip his hands through the rusted cuffs and climbs to his feet. He stretches out his arms, wringing out the stiffness in his joints and cracks his neck. Rotating his shoulders, Chat wanders around the cell, palming at the smooth wall, gently knocking at different sections until he hears a different noise from the other knocks. He grins, nods, and comes towards Nino. Chat digs into his back pocket, revealing a tiny threading needle. "I'm breaking us outta here. You up for a quick take over?"
Nino sighs, relieved when his first wrist is freed. "If you were able to escape, why didn't you before?"
"I was waiting for the opportune moment to spring out on ole' captain, he talking to Marinette, so it means I've waited long enough for him to be distracted." Chat leans into Nino's face, examining him for impossibly close. "Nowhere the plan for our escape.." Chat grin then return returns to the section of wall where he'd tested its integrity and gave another couple firm knocks. This time, an almost soft, audio rap returns in a musical pattern. Chat smirks proudly, "Perfect, let's go."
"W-Wait a sec," Tortuga shuffles over to the pirate captain, minding his footing over the loose chains and dry straw laying everywhere. "What was that?"
"The signal of course. Keep up, junior. Help is on his way"Chat presses his back to the wall next to the door, beckoning Chat to follow his example and pointed at the doorway. A black cat pounce down the stairs.
Nino looked at Chat with a disbelief look, "The saltwater finally got into your head! Your going mad!"
"It's Plagg! Don't you remember he locked us in the storage room?" Chat eye-rolled at Nino's comment, "He can get us out."
"He is a Stupid Cat! They can't actually listen!" Tortuga whined then a set of keys flew into his head."OWWWW! Who threw that?!"
The cat hissed in response and Chat answered, "The stupid cat. Now quit playing around. We got a treasure to go after and being grounded isn't going to stop me."
Tortuga started to mumble annoyingly as they start to leave," We're going to have to rely on stealth for this to work." Chat comments as he started to unlock the cell doors of his other crew member while they stay put. They heard a noise of nearby stomping of guards coming down to check on the prisoners. Chat and Tortuga quickly stood on the side of the doorway. The guards came in and were surprised as Tortuga and Chat tackle the guards unconscious. Chat sent Nino to release the rest of the crew and plan to attack when he gets Marinette. He poked his head out for any signs of coming guards. Seeing none, he took the first right down the corridor, moving swiftly. Chat suddenly slams his back against the wall. Someone's coming. From the sounds of their footsteps, it's a hefty, slow fellow. He wasn't alone. Someone of equal weight and size was with him. The brutes came around the corner and within seconds, Chat subdued them both. They fell to the floor in a heap. Chat walked over the two, reaching in their holsters for their guns. He unbuckles the holster off one and ties them both to the wall. Chat inspects the two weapons before tucking one into the waist of his pants "Not as good as mine but it'll have to do." Chat whistles, impressed as he thought of an idea to take a jacket to blend into uniform before leading the way down the corridor. He reaches a door and picks the lock. It slips open and he rushes inside. The interior's aligned with a bank of paper maps and blueprints, each displaying a particular function of the ship's compartments. Advanced canons, state-of-the-art weapons that could easily rival or overwhelm the marine port authorities, and a slew of other dangerous equipment. "And of course one flaw... the mechanism that if moved can disrupt this ship. Geez Felix you try so hard." Chat examined the maps till he found where the captain quarters was. He quickly went through the hall till he found the captain quarters inside her heard Marinette arguing.
"Stop! Leave me alone!"
"Miss you know where the Kwami crew was heading just tell us the direction and we'll send you home. Where are you from?" Felix groaned annoyed by her reaction.
"Uh, a remote island place." She answered.
"That unlikely."Felix interrupted, "What class is your family from, we're only trying to send you home."
"You can't!"
"Why? Have the pirates done something to them? ...Who are you? Your quite a miraculous girl for not responding..." Gabriel tone stricken in suspicion Chat knew he had to act quick. He hides behind the barrel and pulls out the gun. He shoots out of the porthole sending the signal earlier for the crew to attack. There was silence in the captain's quarters and reckless noise on deck. Felix quickly ran out of the room and to the deck.
General Hawkmoth slowly follows out the door, "Please miss stay in here."
Once no one was in sight Chat entered the room, Marinette leaps up in fear. When she saw Chat she ran toward him in an embrace, "Mari are you okay?"
"Promise me. Promise that you'll let me go home when I get my tailback."Marinette whimpered.
Somehow Chat's heart broke a little, "I... I promise. Come one let get you out, everything will be okay." Chat grabbed his gun that Hawkmoth confiscated then held her hand as they head out the door. Chat and Marinette ran onto the deck where there was the fight of pirates and the confederation. Chat Noir sent Marinette to go onto their ship where another battle was occurring but the Kwami crew was almost done in the battle. As Chat started to follow a bullet went across his face purposely meant to stop him with him actually injuring him. He turns to look at the other end, Felix.
Felix's intense face growled with anger, "Adrien why don't you stop your game. You already betrayed the country."
"You think I'm just doing this to play around." Chat eyes narrow, "Our father is the enemy. I already played yer game of Chat Blanc, I'm not going going to cause pain to the innocent."
"Your just a kid, you don't understand how the society is constructed and involvement in punishment," Felix commented.
"I understand... But I won't follow through that why I became a pirate." Chat remarks.
General Hawkmoth walked next to Felix as a show to defense, "Pirate don't bring harmony, don't you understand that bounty on your head."
"I very much understand it... It represents my rebellion that you won't tolerate." Chat Noir defended.
Chat allegations with his father and brothers eventually got him surrounded by the confederation guards. The kwami crew stared at the standoff between them. Marinette looked on worried and had to do something to help. Marinette quickly sent Kim to stand by a lever that will push out the blades to push the ship apart. She then grabbed one of the bombs that lay on the floor and climb the rope ladder then threw it in between the standoff, "Chat!"On her quo, Kim pulled the lever and made the confederation ship rocked. Chat caught the bomb and lit it up.
"You won't Cat-ch me!"He grins widely, "Cataclysm!!!" He swirled the bomb of smoke and jump back onto his ship. The smoke distracted the confederation then the bomb had a ripple effect of the smoke being lit up in flames. The ship quickly caught the wind and then an unexpected Kraken got stuck on the rising anchor and pulled the ship away as fast as a speed boat In a matter of minutes they were distant from the confederation fleet and the anchor was no longer stuck. Marinette began to get seasick from the rope ladder and suddenly lost her grip.
Chat in seconds was below waiting to catch her, "Are you falling for me, my lady?" He says as he landed in her arms.
Her captain's green eyes shined behind the black mask of shadow that was seen below his hat as he gave her his cat-like grin. Marinette rolled her eyes again. "Hardly, Captain. Put me down please."
"Aw, so soon? When do ever I get the honor of holding the illustrious mermaid?" Captain Chat Noir wiggled his brows before setting his catch down onto the top of the ship.
Then the ship rocked oddly, "Who driving my ship?"
"Ivan, I think."
"we're not going to have a ship if-" the ship rocked as it hit some turbulence "-he keeps driving, Cap." Again, the ship rocked, and she grabbed onto his arm when she thought that she was about to fall. If anyone saw a mermaid clutching onto the arm of a pirate, they would never believe it. But this wasn't the mermaid that first came. Within the ship, she was more Marinette as a human, the clumsy girl who a braver than anything when in danger.
Adrien smiled and steadied her. "Careful, my lady. It'd be a catastrophe if my mermaid got hurt." He laughed when she hit his chest. "Please. Can you be a little more Adrien and a little less Chat Noir?"
"Only if you'll be a little more Marinette."
The girl blushed then stepped away from him. Her arms crossed over her chest. "I don't know what you're talking about, continue with being Chat."
"Thanks, for saving my tail."He chuckles.
"Not like I had a choice."Marinette shrugged with a different emotion on her face of sadness than it was a few seconds ago. She made Chat confused to be speechless on this sudden change of emotion. She then left to go below deck. When Chat came to his senses he follows her.
