I lay at my sides, blankets held to my chest. I close my eyes but sleep never comes. I cant help but hope you come knocking at my window just like how you used to. All these memories come rushing but still youre not here. We've been neighbors for as long as I could remember. All those times your 10 year old self come knocking at my window because your parents were fighting to just a few weeks ago you would knock and we would stay up all night at the roof watching the stars till the biggest of them all, the sun came up. You always had perfect timing back then. You knew when I needed you without me calling you. How I wish you would come. Before I knew it im drowning in my own tears and just like that im back to square one.
