"Baby let me be your vacation"

Rhian's

The pounding of my head woke me up from the long ass sleep I think I had. I felt my head and rubbed it thinking that I could ease the pain.

Since I can feel the sun's rays shining through my eyelids, I slowly fluttered it open. Once I did, I stopped for a while for the sun's rays are too bright for my newly awaken eyes. I covered my sight with my hand. I bet I slept in too long.

Regaining my consciousness and straight sight, I had my eyes fully open and what the...

Where am I?

I'm in this huge white room, laying in this huge bed as well. And when I looked to my right, I saw this huge glass wall that gives an astounding view of the beach outside. I dropped my jaw for the amazing view I'm slowly witnessing.

I jumped out of my bed and went straight to the glass wall that amazed me.

Wow, the bigger view from the outside took my breath away.

Okay, what good things did I do last night that I am blessed with this beauty right in front of me? I literally can't remember anything right now.

"Wow..." I whispered. I tried to reevaluate what happened last night that lead me to where I am right now and how I got here. But my hang over isn't helping. How wasted was I last night?

I noticed that I'm still in my clothes that were probably from last night and its salty aroma distracted me.

"Did I go beaching last night?" I asked myself.

I looked around the room and noticed my bag and shoes placed firmly and all I'm left to wonder is where am I and who's this fucking beautiful mansion is.

I have to find out. I went outside the room.

There's a long hallway in this floor my room's at. Probably nobody's in the same floor because it's dead silent.

I peaked left and right and checked before I fully went outside and closed the door. I'm still a mess, but I don't have a choice.

I surprisingly found an elevator and didn't hesitate to ride in it.

I tapped my foot on the floor and kept on playing my fingers against each other trying to remember what happened last night, but again my hangover is being a bitch.

I'm finally out the elevator and woah, what a fancy living room I just got out to. It's huge!

And there's this woman, probably the one who cleans, who looked at me.

I just looked at her still in surprise.

She walked to the middle and did a curtsy. Okay, fancy.

"Good morning Ma'am, Madame Glaiza is waiting for you in the kitchen."

Is she talking to me? I looked behind me and it's just the two of us.

I pointed my finger to myself. "Me?"

She just answered me with all calmness. "Yes Ma'am, I'm talking to you. Madame Glaiza would like to see you, she's in the kitchen."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Madame Glaiza?"

"Yes Ma'am, Madame Glaiza."

I shake my head. "Who i-" I immediately came to realization. And my mind went into series of flashbacks from last night. Then I widened my eyes remembering Glaiza. Oh shit, yes... Glaiza.

I covered my mouth with my still widened eyes.

"Is everything okay Ma'am?"

I recollected myself realizing that I look like a freaking psycho reacting like this.

I faked a smile at the woman. "I'm okay."

She nodded.

"I'll go ahead, thank you."

"You're welcome Madame"

And I left her alone.

...

Okay, but where is that kitchen that houselady is talking about? I've already run in circles here and I still can't find that room.

I scratched my head yet continued to find the right door to the kitchen. But I can't help to ask myself, did that houselady just call Glaiza 'Madame'?

Wait a second, is she rich?

Is this mansion hers?

My face is in shock trying to process everything and my headache is still not helping.

I thought of surveying the house for pictures that maybe could prove that this is Glaiza's, but the hallway I'm in only have paintings on the wall. And besides I'm feeling a bit starved now, I really need to find that kitchen, stat.

And I thank the Pagan Gods that I finally found the right door. I heard my tummy rumbling before I opened the said door.

And wow...

I thought the house would be all white walls, but when I opened the door to the kitchen, my breath was taken away. I can see a clear view of the beautiful beach outside, through the huge glass walls. The sun's rays are glistening and just the immediate feeling of calmness you get when you see this kind of view, I have always been in love with beaches. It's like a whole new different place here.

It's indeed the kitchen for there's a huge cupboard, a long and techy stove for cooking, and a long counter.

And there I saw her.

Busy in the kitchen stove, only wearing a black tank top and some boxer shorts, wrapping herself with an apron that says she had been in the kitchen for hours because of how messy it looks, and her adorable, fluffy panda slippers.

I was about to call her name but I couldn't deny the fact of noticing her long, slim and glistening legs. Also with that tone arms. She has her back facing me since she's busy cooking, and with her long locks in a messy bun, I noticed that beautiful tattoo inked on her nape. I took a second to stare at her whole body of frame and I'm surprised that I have never seen a woman as perfect as her.

I licked my lips and recollected myself.

Then I coughed a little and that finally got her attention.

She faced me and immediately flashed a dimpled smile that I saw for the first time, and somehow it melted my heart. "Oh, good morning Rhian. I'm glad you're already awake."

But I'm surprised that I couldn't utter a word and I don't know why.

She smiled and went back to her cooking. "I hope you slept well." She then giggled. "And I hope you didn't have a hard time finding the kitchen... don't worry, breakfast will be served in a minute."

I'm not hearing the things she said. I stuttered. "Um Glaiza, wh-where am I?"

She's still facing the pancakes she's cooking, swiftly throwing them up in the air and back in the pan. "In my house... well technically not, because this is my resthouse but yeah you're in my place."

So this is hers, she is rich. But that's not my concern right now.

"No... I mean, where's this place?"

She was finished with the pancakes and placed them in two separate plates. I felt my tummy rumbled again to the sweet and inviting smell.

She carefully put two boxy butters on each top of the pancakes then looked at me grinning. "Maui..."

Hold on a sec, did I hear that right?

"M-Maui?"

"Yeah" She giggled as she poured freshly brewed coffee into two mugs.

But the sweet aroma of caffeine wasn't sweet enough for me to disregard the information about my whereabouts that I just got. "Maui? As in Maui, Hawaii?" My eyes widened.

"Yes!" She cheerfully replied as she stirred the coffee in one mug. I can see that she already added the right amount of creamer and sugar for it smelled delightful.

But again, that didn't occur much on me.

"Hawaii?!" I couldn't help but raise my voice in shock.

She furrowed her perfectly arched eyebrows but still looked amused to my reaction. She snickered. "You heard me..."

She was done stirring the coffee and took a last smell on its aroma, and it looked like it satisfied her. But I was surprised that she passed the mug to my direction. "Here's your coffee, I hope it's perfect for you." She then smiled like her eyes disappeared.

But again, the coffee, even that cute eyes disappearing smile of hers are left unnoticed for I raised my voice even higher. I have never been this surprised in my entire life.

"You took me to Hawaii?!" I looked shocked and that surprised her as well.

"Uh yeah..."

That's when I started to blabber. "Why did you take me here? Oh my goodness, I have work! Wh-where's my phone I have to call the of--"

"Hey, hey Rhian you s--"

"Where's my phone?! Is there anyway I can book a flight right now? Jesus, I have a presentation on due today!" I was indeed hysterical.

But she was a total opposite of me, she's as calm as ever. "Rhian, why not you sit down and drink you coffee fi--"

"No! I need to go back to San Francisco, I have work Glaiza! Why did you take me here?!" My eyes looked like I could eat her alive right now.

Yes, I don't have a clear memory of last night, but I'm pretty sure I didn't sign up for anything like this. Why did she take me here?

Her face was in perfect frustational distort. I was heavily breathing and she was just staring at my little burst out.

Seconds later she flashes me a smirk of confusion. "Hold on a second Rhian, don't you remember anything last night?... D-do you even know me?"

"I know you, it's just why did you take me here?! I'm literally miles away from San Fracisco, from my job who needs me right now!"

She smirked even more. "Yeah, you clearly don't remember." She then giggled.

"What?" Now it's my brows' turn to furrow.

She continued to be amused.

"Glaiza I'm serious, this is not funny."

She tried to stop herself. "No I know, I'm sorry. It's just you look completely opposite to the Rhian I met last night."

"What are you talking about?"

She leaned on the counter and took a bite of the apple she just picked out from the fridge. "You really don't remember? Or shall I tell you what you should remember?"

My brows even furrowed, while hers kept still with that smirk in her eyes.

I stared at her for seconds and that's when a series of flashbacks started to run around my mind...

...

"I know you were watching me, on the other nights. Right in that very spot you're sitting actually... I know, I can see it right in the corner of my eye. You thought I didn't notice." I had this questionable face but eventually giggled. I don't want to scare her away, she seems nice. And she's pretty. But it looked like she's about to be eaten alive by tigers for it's obvious that I gave her nervous chills. I left her speechless, now this is getting interesting.

...

She chuckled. "No. I'm sorry okay? Look that was really offkey and I was very rude, I hope you can apologize me. So what if we have drinks together, I'll buy you and let's finally get to know each other before things get anymore awkward between us."

...

She sticks out her hand for me and smiled. "Glaiza Galura."

I looked at her hand then finally smiled back. "Rhian Howell."

...

"All these years, I took care of him. Love him with all my heart, my life, my soul. I gave everything because he once made me feel that I'm everything he could ever dream and hope for. At times, I wish I could just live in that trance forever... but I couldn't. Life's not a bullshit fairytale! I think I did my best loving him, but I guess I wasn't good enough, just so he could cheat on me with that bitch... my sister."

All the beer in my system didn't stop me from finally bursting out. Though I just met Glaiza, and somehow found her a weird, psychotic, maniac, which I eventually concurred she isn't, I felt very comfortable on sharing my story to her. The words kept coming out from my mouth, it's like I could trust her.

Though shocked about my revelation, the sincerity in her eyes is still there. It's like she's telling me she's here to listen.

We looked at each other's eyes for seconds and I surprisingly felt like home staring at hers, I don't know if she felt the same way too.

...

I'm feeling really hazy yet I'm surprised that I can still give a conversation to Glaiza.

With my blurry sight I can still see her furrowed eyebrows directed at me. "Huh? Aren't you going home? you're soaked."

She's starting to look pissed. She asked where's the way to my house but I don't want to go home yet.

I started to close my eyes for I'm feeling really tired. "No don't take me home. I want anywhere but home."

"Where are you going it's late at night?"

I yawned then shifted my body comfortably. "I want a vacation. Weeklong perhaps. I want to get away from here for a little while and forget about everything. I want to do things that distracts me from my bullshit life... I could use a vacation right now."

I looked at her one last time and started to close my eyes and drift to sleep.

...

"Now you remember?" Glaiza looked at me eye to eye while still leaning on the counter with a bitten apple on her hand.

My face told her so. I then came stuttering. "H-how did I-we came here? This is Maui-- in Hawaii! We were in San Francisco just last night!"

"We used my jet."

"Your what?"

"My jet... my private jet."

'H-how did y-- was that even yours?" I'm still trying to process everything right now see.

What I said somehow surprised her for she gulped and almost spit the coffee she's drinking.

She chuckled a bit. "I just told you it's my jet, so it's mine."

I couldn't help but be amazed and puzzled at the same time, so I kept asking her questions.

"So that's why that lady called you 'Madame Glaiza'..."  I talked to myself enough for her to hear.

She nodded then passed me a sandwich which I think she also made for I can see in her apron the ketchup and mayo stains in it.

And because I'm starving myself, I didn't hesitate on accepting the food infront of me. I eventually chewed the food up to my throat and felt really full after indulging that whole tuna sandwich.

But thoughts kept running on my mind, I'm not sure about this woman in front of me. What if Glaiza is just lying? Someone like her couldn't pass on being rich enough with a private jet. She didn't look rich last night.

Well I'm not judging... I'm just, I have to be sure myself. She's still a stranger. I'm in a stranger's house, what else could happen to me?

But wait, I remebered. Her car last night was a brand new model of Chevrolet... um okay?

But wait, shit. What if she's an undercover criminal and gets those things in exchange of people she murdered? What if she does this as a living?

What if I'm next? I don't want to die yet, I still want to be married with 3 kids... what will I do?

I'm not even rich, why would she target me now? But still, I need to be ready.

I tried to look calm when deep inside I wanted to storm out of this mansion and have my ultimate escape from death in the hands of this woman. I sighted the utensils infront of me and grabbed a fork as quickly as I can. I then swiftly went on her back and placed the fork near her jugular.

"Oh my God what are you doing?"

I tried to be my bravest self and sounded like I'm sure about what I'm doing. "You got nowhere to go now, you criminal!"

She tried to let go but I steadied with my position. She looks surprised but I didn't buy that, criminals are such actors. I learned that in movies.

"What?" She exclaimed.

"I know what you're trying to do. You can't kill me, I know you now. I'll have my escape from criminals like you! You'll never have that brand new car in exchange of my death!" I tried that evil chuckle from the movie and I'm a little proud of myself.

"In exchange of your de-- what are you talking about?!" Her huge black eyes are widening trying to look at my face behind her. Thank God she stopped squirming, making my job easier.

"Now tell me where's the door so I can leave, if you'll let me leave in peace I won't tell the police. If you won't, then I'll have to use this fork on your neck... though I really don't know how to use it to kill someone but yeah, you'll see criminal!"

"Criminal? I-I'm not a criminal! Rhian whas gotten into you?!" She even chuckled asking, the nerve.

But I just don't believe her, I need to have the upperhand for me not to be murdered. Oh God. "Oh you're a criminal! People li--"

Then we were startled when that same houselady I met earlier entered the door, surprised like she's seen a ghost. "Madame Glaiza!"

"How dare you!" The old house lady looked at me with piercing eyes as if Glaiza is the cub to her lioness.

"Don't you dare move! You guys are ju--" I pointed the fork at the houselady.

"Rhian stop!" Glaiza loudens her voice.

"Oh shut up!" I pointed the fork back at her neck.

The old houselady grabbed the telephone and started to dial numbers. "I'll call the police..."

"Yes! Call the police so that you crimin--" And then it hit me like truck. "Wait what? Why are you calling the police?"

"Because you're trying to kill Glaiza?" The houselady confidently replied as my eyebrows started to furrow.

"No! No! Mamang, don't call the police! Rhian's harmless!" Glaiza tried to stop the old houselady.

Now I'm puzzled. "What do you mean I'm not harmless? Why are you protecting me? Aren't you guys criminals?"

She rolled her eyes then sighed hard. "We're not!"

"Then what are you?!"

"Uhm, not criminals?" Glaiza answered sarcastically but in a way to prove her point.

"What?! If you guys are not criminals then why do you have a private jet and th-this mansion?"

"Because I own them! How many times do I have to tell you that?" Her big, black eyes are even larger now.

I slowly let go of her due to surprise and confusion. "So you're saying you're rich?"

"Uhm, yeah!" She then fixed herself.

"Lady, what are you even saying? She's Madame Glaiza, she owns this mansion, she owns that private jet, she even owns this island!" The old houselady added.

My face is a blank surprise.

Glaiza then started to chuckle. "Oh my God, you don't believe I'm rich?"

I was left speechless.

She chuckled even more. "Okay, here. Do you know G Industries?"

It didn't even take me a second to answer, for that company name ringed a bell to me immediately. "Yeah, the one who franchised the famous travelling company in America?"

Glaiza nodded, looking satisfied. "Do you know what G stands for?"

I answered in a heartbeat, for this travelling company is really on the masters list of business in America. "Galura..."

She then looked at me meaningfully hoping I'm finally getting it.

And I did.

She offers her hand to me and smiled. "Glaiza Galura."

My eyes then started to widen after my realization. "Oh my God, you're Glaiza Galura..."

"Mhmm..." She hummed in peace knowing that my doubts about her are finally disappearing.

"You're the Boy Galura's only daughter, right?"

"Yes I am." She grinned.

I feel like I'm being flushed with cold water at my face. I want to run away now, from everything I just did to Glaiza. I'm so stupid.

And with the bright sunlight surrounding the room, I'm pretty sure she noticed my flushed cheeks. I tried to hide it with both my hands.

The old houselady finally dropped the phone and chuckled.

I turned to look at who Glaiza called Mamang and apologized. "Ma'am I'm so sorry for what happened, I truly am."

She finally smiled. "It's okay honey, don't worry."

I then faced Glaiza with all my strength and courage and... reddening of my face. "Glaiza, I am so sorry. I know what I did is unforgivable but I want you to know that I am really sorry, I'm so embarrassed... I didn't realize."

Her eyes disappearing smile flashed. "Shhh, it's okay. At least you know how to keep yourself safe."

I snickered. "But still, that was pretty embarrassing."

"No need to worry, only the three of us will know... right, Mamang?"

"Of course. Why not you two finish your coffees while I set the breakfast on the dining table?" The old houselady's smile was assuring.

"That would be great Mamang, thank you." Glaiza replied.

Mamang gave us a smile and nod before leaving.

"C'mon finish your coffee, I made that for you, you know. And my pancakes are also waiting." Glaiza smiled and I just shook my head, still recovering from my embarrassing scene.

...

I knocked on her door for fives times already and thank God she finally answered.

"Hold on a sec, I'm coming!" She shouted and thank God that I also found the right door Mamang instructed me.

I stopped knocking and waited patiently for the door to be opened. I'm feeling a little nervous, I'm still so embarrassed for what I did earlier. But I tried to be in my best state of courage.

I shake my head, washing all the nervousness away when the door finally opened. And my jaw almost dropped with the sight in front of me.

Glaiza.

Glaiza in a small, all black bikini. Revealing almost everything underneath her.

Her hair in a messy bun which gave me full access on her perfect collarbone and a sight of her plump chest that I cannot ignore.

Her taut abs, holy shit. Thank God I suppresed my lips on trying to bite itself.

I eyed her from head to toe and my mouth almost watered. God, she's smokin'.

I regained my normal self back then gulped and tried not to look at her glorious body of frame right in front of me. "Um G-glaiza... can I-I talk t-to you?"

She smiled. "Sure, come in."

She then opened the door for me and I followed her inside. And Jesus, can she spare me the torture of seeing her voluptuous ass covered in that tiny piece of clothing, swaying from left to right?

Yes, I like girls too. You could say that I am a bisexual. I never had any serious relationships with them, only flings, but I'm never closing my doors. That is also why I walked up to Glaiza that night in the bar because I found her interesting, and yes, she's pretty attractive. Plus I found out how cute she is, so I'm getting myself a ride.

And now so far with the time I spent with her, and the amount of skin she's showing me, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a rollercoaster ride for me.

She lets me sit on her bed as she's busy packing things up in her beach bag.

She looked at me. "So what's up? And wait, why aren't you still ready? I already told the other houslady to bring your bikini and other things you would need today in your room."

I raised a brow. "My what?"

"Your bikini."

"Oh, so that was for me?"

"Yes! Well if I'm right that you don't have any beachwear in your bag... which I checked, you don't." She grinned.

"W-where are we going?"

Glaiza giggled, as if she couldn't believe me asking. "To the beach!"

I tried to smile.

"Oh c'mon Rhian don't tell me you don't remember what you told me last night? You said you wanted a vacation, so I'm giving you one. C'mon... stop sulking up for your lame ass ex and your sister who you did nothing wrong for them to destroy you like that, and get on your bikini and let's hit the waves."

I didn't notice that she was walking towards me and she's now leaning her hands on the bed, on my sides and she's now only inches away from me. She smiled.

I got speechless okay.

"Plus, I couldn't wait to see you in that pink bikini..." Her voice went a little lower and I suddenly felt millions of volts in my body when she said it. "I thought that color suits you so well..."

She then stands up as I finally have the freedom to take a breath, and giggled. "So hurry your ass now Rhian, go change!"

"B-but my work? Glaiza I have work in San Francisco and as what I've said earlier, I have a presentation on due today."

She smirked. "Which, is already taken cared of by yours truly. I called your boss and you're now work free for two full weeks." She clapped as if proud of what she accomplished.

"Wait, you called my boss? You know him?"

"Yeah, he's a client. He couldn't say no to me, trust me. And you're not that hard to please for a leave because I found out that you're pretty much swell for an employee, you got clean records honey." She snickered.

I just smiled for that's true. I'm a workaholic, and honestly maybe that's the reason why Jason had the time to cheat on me with Nadine because I gave him limited time for the both of us. He was always there, always waiting for me to be around and I still kept him waiting. Sometimes, I think it's really my fault.

"Hey!" Glaiza snapped her fingers in front of me and that woke me up from my sad reverie.

"What are you thinking?" She now sounds concerned.

I faked a smile. "It's nothing. Just thought of something."

"Pfft... whatever that is, you should forget about it by now, because the offer is still on the deals. Are you still up for a little vacation?" She smiled in all hopes. Her huge black eyes trying to please me.

"Okay, I'm gonna go change." I smiled.

"Perfect!" She clapped her hands together and looked as joyful as ever. "Because I have so much stuff prepared for today."

...

I stared at my phone, and I still have no messages or calls from Jason. I know I'm so stupid to even wait for him, but all I want is an explanation. Honestly right now, I don't care about Nadine. I couldn't look or even talk to her after her betrayal. My heart is still aching, and it's been 6 months already. Many have told me to move on now and get myself out there. And yes, I tried what they've told me. That's why I go clubbing twice or thrice a week, eventhough I'm not really that kind of person. My co-workers and friends encouraged me. But I'm still hurt, no matter how much I danced it away, no matter how many people try to get in my pants or in my life.

So I'm quite thankful for Glaiza. Because of her weird, psychomaniac self that night, she got my interest. And now I'm finding a new friend. And her offer for a little vacation, isn't bad after all. We just met, but I immediately felt comfortable pouring everything to her and I think she is with me as well, soon I'll find out.

My phone vibrated with a reply from my mother, saying she's thankful that I'm safe and that wherever I am, I should be careful.

I smiled as I typed in to reply.

"Thanks Mom. Don't worry, I'll be home in two weeks. I'll keep myself safe, Glaiza is nice trust me. I'm gonna shut my phone off now, I need this vacation as freely as I want it to be. I love you, see you soon."

I waited for my Mom's immediate reply, then I completely shut my phone off. Glaiza was right in time to get inside my room.

She's still in that black bikini, but is now slightly covered with some see-through cardigan. She let her long hair flow beyond her chest and I know her eyes smiled underneath those sunglasses.

"Nice..." She slide up her sunglasses and smiled evenmore as her eyes set on to me.

For a moment there I got shy, for she's staring at me. I slightly smiled.

"You dress up really nicely, I must say. And for a beachwear, such an A+." She complimented.

I did wear the pink bikini she gave me, but I'm wearing a white, almost see through beach pants for I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with my bikini. It's only covering half of my ass for Christ's sake!

"Here, I forgot to give you this." She passed me a hat almost matching the one she's wearing.

"Thanks." I smiled as I put it on with the sunglasses.

"So you ready?" Glaiza surprisingly offered her hand to me.

I looked at it for a second and smiled. "Yes I am."

We both smiled at each other as I finally accepted her hand and we walked to the beach and our hands stayed like that. For some reasons, I find her touch weird and calming. Weird, for this is the first time we held hands in a long time, I eventually sweat. That could be embarrassing, God. And calming, for in her touch, the way she held my hand, the way she kept it in hers feels like I'm secured. Like no one's going to hurt me unless she's not around. It felt like she'll never leave me.

I looked again at our hands entertwining, I smiled. Then finally shake myself off for thinking and imagining things like these.
