"Are we there yet?" I asked for the hundredth time, my hands clapped together staring at Kai as he drives ahead
"Almost," he sighs
Kai woke me up early, saying that his going to take me somewhere, I refused since I had work but he made me call Aiden and strangely Aiden seemed fine with the idea, as long as I made up for the hours later.
Kai refused to tell me where he was taking me and kept saying it was a surprise but I had a feeling he was just finally fed up of me stealing all his food and was taking me to another state and dumping me there.
But he just simply laughed at my over-dramatic theory.
No...
"No" I gasped, smiling brightly as I notice the welcome sign
"Nope, we're just driving past this place," Kai says very seriously
"Seriously?" I frown at him, he turns to face me and breaks into a smile
"No seriously," He nods, smiling at me
This dumbass
I turn away from him, staring out the window, "I'm just joking," Kai laughs.
I won't believe anything he says until we're are both riding 'California screamin'.
"Do you believe me now?" Kai asks, holding the tickets in his hands as we stood in front of the Disneyland.
"HELL YEAH!" I jump into Kai, pulling him into a hug, Kai wraps his arms around me, laughing at my actions.
But I stop and back away, "Wait does that mean you're gonna kill after?" I frown, remembering our 'deal'
Kai gives me a blank look and smirks, "maybe," he winks and walks ahead, "So what do you wanna do first?"
"I want those!" I point at a couple walking past us with Minnie mouse and Micky mouse headbands.
I might as well live my best life before I die
Kai looks up to see what I'm pointing at, "Well, then let's go," He smiles leading us towards the gift shop.
"Ahw everything is so cute!" I gape at everything around, this store was literally Disney heaven
Spotting Minnie Mouse one, I grab it, turning around to Kai, "Here you go," I stand on my tip toes to put the Minnie Mouse headband on Kai's head.
"Oh No" he stands taller, putting his chin up, preventing me from putting the ears on.
I pout and frown, turning around but Kai stops me and takes the ears out my hand, bending down a little to place the ears over my head, "there,"
To cover my flustered face I look away, searching for a distraction, "go look at something in the corner, Look there's bunch of frozen stuff,"
Kai chuckles and walks off to look around, I take this chance to grab both of us the headbands and pay for them.
Even though this guy is blooming loaded, I am pretty much capable to pay for things myself, and I do feel bad since I've pretty much been relying on Kai for the past month or so.
"Thank you," I smile at the cashier and skip my way to Kai
"You done?" Kai asks, turning around
"Yeah let's go,"
"We need to pay for them,"
"I've already done that," I flash him a smile and quickly walk out
"This is supposed to be my surprise for you," Kai looks down narrowing his eyes and frowning at me
"It's fine," ignore his continues complaints, I stand on my tip toes and place the Micky mouse ears on top of his head even though he was trying his best to back away, but finally he gives in.
Kai straightens his headband out and reaches forward for mines, "Here," he fiddles with the headband, placing it on my head.
I look at the ground, feeling a little flustered with our closeness, when I do decide to look up I notice Kai looking down at me, his eyes flickering from my eyes to my lips.
Oh no
"What are you doing?" A cheery little voice asked, we both snap out of our moment and look down to the little girl looking up at us
"Is this the part where the princes kiss the princess and they live happily ever after?" She asks, jumping up and down while clapping her hands
Erm
"Emma!" An older woman calls out, running to pick up the little girl
"Mummy! I'm watching the princess and prince show!" She points at us, okay...
"Honey, you're watching the wrong show," Her Mum puts her hand down and looks at us
"I'm really sorry about my daughter, she's just really excited," the Mum apologises,
"It's okay," Kai and I both say at the same time
"Mummy! I want to take pictures with the princes and princess!" She whines, trying to get down.
"I'm so sorry, you guys are a beautiful pair," She apologies, carrying a whinging Emma away from us who keeps turning around and pointing at us
"I wanna see them kiss!" We hear her scream

"Yeah let's just go," I awkwardly say, walking straight.

.
"The cameras coming up!" I tell at Kai
Sticking my tongue out and putting up a peace sign, I pose for the camera
We managed to get past that awkward moment and pretty much went on all the rides, ate and this was our second time on the 'California screamin' and also our last ride
"That was fun!" I cheer, getting out the ride
"I think I'm gonna be sick," Kai groans, putting his face on top of my head
"Hey hey, not on me!" I push him away and walk towards the exit
"Wait here, lemme just get something," Kai says, walking in another direction while I wait outside, the sun was starting to set which meant the fireworks were going to start very soon.
"Done," Kai says, coming back to stand beside me
"We need to hurry! The fireworks are gonna start soon!" I urge Kai, pulling him to walk faster
Just as we were getting a little closer, I hear the first firework
"Oh no!" Holding on to Kai's hand, we both run as fast as we can
We finally get there, I was stood there trying to focus on the fireworks as well as fill my dying lungs with oxygen
We both watch the fireworks in amusement, the area surrounded by couples, families and friends. I look down to mine and Kai's joined hands, which Kai held onto tightly, in case I suddenly decide to make a run for it.
I really appreciate all that Kai has done for me, I probably would have been homeless without Kai.
Turning to face Kai, I smile, "thanks a lot, Kai, I really do appreciate everything you've done,"
I stand on my tip toes to place a kiss on his cheek, just as he turns his head, causing both our lips to met
"Oh shit! Sorry," I curse, quickly standing away from him.
I really wanna crawl into a hole and die!
Now he's gonna his think I'm a little creep!
Can the ground just swallow me up already!
Kai looks at me for a second, then slowly a smile creeps up on his face, he steps closer to me, "no, thank you, Ava," with that Kai cups my cheeks, pulling me into a kiss
I stood there stunned for a second, thinking if this was a dream or reality until it finally hit, Kai was actually kissing me!
You think he thinks kissing my frog face will turn me into a princess?
Jokes on him!
When I finally do kiss Kai back, I feel his smile through the kiss, causing me to smile along as we both continued to savour our moment.
The kiss was perfect, the fireworks behind us, making the moment even more beautiful.
"MUMMY! The princes and princess are kissing!" The voice I remember as Emma cheers.
Was she following us?
We both pulled away, panting, while standing close, our foreheads touching as our breaths mixed
"I've been wanted to do that for ages,"
