A/N Hey I know, I was suppose to post this chapter this chapter yesterday but, I wanted to make it long. And I wasn’t really satisfied with it to post it just yet. I wanted to add more RinXZero since Valentine wasn’t too long ago. Anyway I hope you accept my apology.
I can already feel my blood boiling once the maiden slave jumped out the window. I knew that Sarah had already heard the commotion that was happening but I can tell that she wouldn't dare open the door. Like I known to be true she was afraid.
Good I thought to myself. She should be afraid. After everything she caused ruining people's lives, it was better off she was dead. I had a few moments to summon my anti-vampire shurken. When I lost my memories, I thought it was just plain toothpick or something. It never occurred to me it was the shuriken that the headmaster has given me when I first join the disciplinary committee. All these years I kept it in my pocket...never noticing it was a piece from my past.
Glowing a purplish shine, the shuriken grew to a larger scale, it was ready to fight as much as I did. Here we go, this is it…
Kicking the door off its hinges, I knew what lied ahead. Takuma...His sword was pointed out to me, aiming more to my lower part of my neck. It was deja vu all over again. We were back where we started except defending Rido, he was defending Sarah. Sometimes I wondered about our friendship. . . Were we really friends?
"I didn't think you would come out to try to kill me this soon, Rin. But have you forgotten, your still under my control" She hummed her eyes gleaming with bloody crimson. I didn't bother to even answer that instead I let my weapon do most of the talking. Ducking over Takuma's dangerous sword I hurried to Sarah before I missed the opportunity to finish her off.
Of course it was never that simple. Her orders still weighed me down and is still what leaves me in a disadvantage. Swinging his sword once again, I merely by this much was able to drop low before he cut off my head.
"Takuma stay out of my way" I growled. I didnt want to hurt him but he keeps putting me in these kind of positions that I don't know what to do.
"You know that I cannot do that" He frowned moving his sword more quickly and accurately. What happened to us Takuma? We used to the bestest friends and now we became enemies in just a split second. Feinting his move once I found my way through his maze of attacks and went through his barriers. I can hear him screaming Sarah's name but I was already close to where I needed to be to chop off her head.
"RIN!!! DON'T KILL HER!" He cried once more but I can only mutter a cold apology but I wasn't sure if I even meant it. Swinging my arm realising the shurkin in my grasp, only someone in heaven could save her.
And someone did...but it was not God I can tell you that much. A spark of light reflected my weapon dropping it to the wooden floor.
"You got in the way Kaname" I sneered. This close...this close in killing this monster and the only thing standing in my way is yet another beast like it.
" I'm sorry but if anyone is going to kill Sarah. It will be me" He said standing behind her like shadow. Takuma was between but he was didn't seem too worried about him being here.
They started discussing about the human race. As selfish as it may sound I wasn't listening, all I could think of is the fury and hatred I have welled up inside. Like a magnet the shurkin flinged back to my grasp again.
"Well if you're going to get in the way of me killing Sarah. Then I guess I have no other choice but to force you to get out of the way" I smirked. This caught them their attention pretty quick. Dashing toward Kaname who was blocking me between him and Sarah, I swinged my weapon to his head. Im sorry Yuki but if you weren't going to stop Kaname than I will.
Before I could leave a scratch on them, the Pureblood disappeared. He gotten away again so it was back to me and Sarah once more. A sinister grin accidentally fell upon my face.
"This is your end Sa-
"No its not" Averting my eyes I saw Zero standing in front of the door. Sarah smiled happily at her knight and shining armor. Okay you want to kill purebloods but you're willing to make an exception for her. Seriously of all things!...
"Zero. Keep me safe by taking Rin away from me" She sighed with a grin. I tried to hurry and attack or at least slap her but Zero wrapped his long snaky arms around my waist.
"NO let me go!!! ZERO!" I screamed. Squirming like a child to be set down, I felt so helpless. Taking me out the room, leading me down the halls as all the students watched in amusement. I tried my hardest for him to let me go, I even went far as to punching him. But as I thought Zero was experienced in handling on blocking my fist while he was cradling me.
He ended up taking me to the hunters association building. Putting up an effortless fight with him, I cursed him every step of the way there. Once we made it to the cell that he kept me over the weeks, I couldn't help but be hurt. He was treating me worse than her.
Clenching my fist as he finally put me to the floor again "I hate you" I spat. Did I mean those words? No but at this moment I felt like I did. Turning away and heading to what I now call 'my bed' since I been there so often its ridiculous, I heard the metal door shut.
Lifting the thin blanket, I was ready to fall to sleep and hopefully think of another plan to kill my master. A rough push caused me to collide to the bed. Cold hands wrapped around me under the bed sheets as I tried to turn to see who did it. I was surprised to find it was Zero.
"What are you doing? Only vampires like me are locked in here" I snapped his hands fell to my hips securing my movement. His eyes were fixed on my lips but it seemed as though he was holding himself back.
" I know it looks bad right now. But it's a going to get better. Right now we have to deal with Kuran and then we'll deal with Sarah" He promised. I tried to maintain my glare but every time he looks at me with his soft grey eyes, I always lose.
"Whatever, fine leave me here by myself then you go find Kuran" I huffed. Sure it was a low blow but its true. He claims he cares about me but locks me away like prisoner.
"You're never going to be by yourself. I'm always going to be by your side whether you want it or not" He clarified hovering over me like a bridge, his knees spread blocking me from all over.
He licked his lips for split second before attacking mine. At first I didn't want his kisses but soon enough I was drowning in them. I couldn't help but miss his lips and touches as cliché as it may sound. I can feel his fingertips trailing up my shirt making circles on my hip bone. Tingles and a weird warmness wrapped around me.
"Rin" he whispered pulling me closer to his chest. My fangs began to expand and my craving for blood increased tenfold. Wrapping my arms around his neck, my instant reaction was to sink my teeth in.
My taste buds exploded into fireworks when the droplets of blood trickled on my tongue. It tasted sweeter and better than any candy. Let me just say that is saying a lot.
I can hear a gasp escape his lips. And then realization hit me hard, this was my second time I've drank from him. Guilt started to drop on me like falling rocks. I quickly pushed away from him not wanting to cause any more damage. From what I remembered in the past, Zero couldn't accept the tablets as much. So then it gets me questioning how does he remain sane?
"Why did you stop?" He asked his eyes were crimson red with a tinge of pink. Scraping my wrist as the oozing of blood began dripping down. Before his mouth can speak, I knew for a fact he was going to try to reject it.
"If you don't drink my blood. I'll find it insulting and rude. And never speak to you for the rest of our eternal life" I started putting my serious mask on. He let out a sigh lowering my wrist down from his face.
"Fine. I'm not speaking to-" His fangs went straight to my neck. It didn't hurt as much as before, in fact it felt pleasurable. I understood what he meant when he asked why did I stop. Drinkin my blood it brought a weird satisfaction of peace and relaxation.
When the room began to seem hazy and fuzzy, he released his fangs. My neck felt sore but thats what to be expected after all. Licking the left over droplets of blood that escaped his lips.
While he was licking the blood that was left over, I couldn't help but mess with his earing. I've always wondered when he got it done. It was very shiny and hard to miss. So I continue to flick at it and then try to feel the design in my fingertips.
His head dropped to my chest, taking away his earing with him. A stress mark appeared on my forehead hearing a soft snore. This could be good time to escape but the thing is I need the keys to the door. He obviously has them since he locked himself in here with me.
In his back pocket were the keys to the door. Reaching down to get the keys, I glances over to see if he was still asleep. Seeing he was still sleeping, I push my hand into his pocket. Nothing. So I reached and touched his butt for nothing!.. Its probably in the other one then going for the other pocket his hand stopped me. Well ain't this Awkward. ...
"Rin...if you're looking for the keys, there not there. But if you're not...then please continue" He added with smirk. Nearly all the different shades of red appeared on my cheek. Stupid perverted Zero. ..
"Fine but...don't leave me locked in here." I whined. I dont want to wake up and find myself here in the cage again. Kissing my collar bone, and nuzzling his head to my neck, I can see he was trying to avoid the subject.
"Zero! You're not being cute. Dont leave me waking up and finding that you've locked me in here!" I exclaimed. Pausing for moment he thought. Im hoping it was letting me go from this cell.
"I'll let you out tomorrow morning" He sighed. I could leap for joy if I wanted to but i'm sort of bound down at this time.
"But you'll never leave my side understood" He glared. I nodded my head smiling. I can tell he didn't want to smile back so I pushed lips up.
"I'll be stuck to you like glue. I'll be your partner in crime. OH I CAN BE YOUR PARTNER AS A HUNTER!" This only earn me a groan.
"C'mon on I would be your best partner! If not I should be president!" I declared. Zero shook his head kissing my forehead. "Goodnight Rin".
"I would have been the best president" I grumbled as Zero snuggled closer to my neck.
Yahh i was hopping to have Sarah dead by now but she still fighting. Soo im hoping she dies soon. ughhh cant stand her.
