Months had passed since the accident; months that flew for the unkowning girl but years for the boy who still remembered everything.

Repeatedly, his friends would tell him to just go talk to her, even start a new friendship with her or something, but everytime he came even remotely close to telling Yuri, he chickened out.

For the first month, Youngjae was absolutely depressed. Just seeing her in the distance gave him the sensation of a million daggers piercing his skin, digging away at his insides. His eyes always seemed dull. The bubbly sunshine everybody knew seemed to have dissapeared, instead, a constant sad aura followed Youngjae.

However, he slowly climbed his way back up, with the help of his friends.

In fact, one time he actually had contact with Yuri. Well, she asked him to transpose some musiv but nevertheless, it made the boy happier, giving him some hope.

This was a week ago, and now, Youngjae was feeling his determination coming back.

"Youngjae, focus!" Jaebum shouted at the boy startling him out of his thoughts.

"Sorry hyung." Youngjae apologised, but Jaebum smiled at the younger gently, understanding his ordeal.

Currently, Youngjae was practising a dance routine with the other six boys, preparing for another street performance.

Although not the best at dancing out of all of them, majoring more in music, Youngjae still found joy in the physically demanding activity.

When Jackson first proposed the idea - who, now that Youngjae thought about it, alwayd came up with the wildest ideas - he was sceptical at first. How would someone like him learn to dance as good as the rest?

However, he really did improve a lot since they started up the idea.

Youngjae wouldn't know how he would've survived these past months without his friends and dance. Just dancing with them alone gave him a sensational rush and rid all his stress and worries.

Despite his harships, his friendship with all six never seemed to fail.

"Youngjae, are you going to tonights concert?" Jaebum asked, throwing a bottle to the boy.

Youngjae nodded excitedly. He himself wasn't performing, however Yuri was, having won their class' composition contest, and the boy didn't want to miss her performance for the world.

He knew how shy she would get and how she probably was really nervous so he wanted to support her, even if she wouldn't recognise him.

Meanwhile Yuri, true to Youngjae's thoughts, was pacing up and down the hallways, an anxious bile threatning to come up her throat.

Her stomach was twisted into a knot, actually, several knots. The nauseating sense of sickness plagued her mind and body, her brain incapable of processing any sort of information.

She was still shocked she even won the composition contest in the first place, because she was certain that brfore her accident she had done literally nothing.

After, of course, she was inspired, mostly by the strange boy who she could not recognise.

Clearly she can remember his face when he woke up, distraught and torn at the sudden realisation.

Yuri had requested to see the boy later on that day, desperately wanting to know who he was, but he never came.

That kind of torn Yuri slightly, because that was the very thing she always wished not to happen.

She was certain that he was probably someone close to her, perhaps important, but because of her, that was all gone.

She internally kicked herself, for making friends and puting others through pain. This was what she was scared of, when making friends, putting them through more pain than herself.

"Yuri, you alright?" Min Yung asked, stepping infront of the girl's path and holding her shoulders tightly but with concern.

A shake of the head confirmed Min Yung's fear.

Sighing, Min Yung squeezed her friend's hand slightly, "It'll be fine Yuri, you've worked really hard on this piece."

Yuri nodded but still struggled to believe it, "Thank you Min Yung."

Min Yung grinned at the girl, givung her a thumbs up before leaving the girl alone again.

Sighing, Yuri decided to go through her phone and try to relax, only to distress herself more at the time showing up on her phone.

"I'm not even ready!" Yuri panicked, throwing her phone onto the couch in the waiting room before hastily grabbing hold of the dress she's supposed to wear for the concert.

During all her focus on not puking, the female failed to realise two hours had passed and she was supposed to be playing in ten minutes.

If she wasn't nervous enough as it was, now, she was really wanting to dissapear.

It was only just after she finished getting on the dress that a light knock came to the door.

A head poked in, asking if she was ready.

Numbly, the girl nodded, following on after the adult.

'I'm not ready, I'm not ready.'

She stood at the side of the stage, watching the act beforeher perform with a strong confidence.

Yuri, on the other hand, trembled with stage fright.

The clapping sounded, indicating the end of the act, and she was nudged forward into the bright lights.

"Wow, Yuri was amazing!" BamBam exclaimed.

Youngjae agreed with him, still feeling excited even after her performance.

The sight of her was engraved in his mind. She looked etheral, her eyes twinkling with a look that fascinated the boy and her hair fell down in silky strands.

Youngjae went to talk about her performance more before realising he left his phone, "Hold on, I left my phone behind."

Quickly saying a short bye to them all, Youngjae ran back into the building, noticing the clouds beginning to swell in the sky. Mentally, he cursed himself for his forgetfulness.

Relief washed over him when he saw his phone, still sitting on the chair where he  sat earlier. Picking it up, he briskly walked back out the building, wanting to get home before the rain got any fiercer.

Just as he stepped outside, beginning to run through the dreich rain, a voice called out to him.

  "You!"

  Youngjae stopped, eyes wide.

He turned around, watchinf the familiar girl running towards him.

Breathless, she stood in front of him, "You! You, you were at the hospital."

Youngjae couldn't answer, he was stuck. He only stared at Yuri with a blank face.

"H-How come you never came! I wanted to know who you were, what we were before." Yuri looked like she was close to tears, although it was hard to tell in the rain.

Youngjae looked at her with a bittersweet smile.

"Even that one time I spoke to you, you didn't even act like you knew me. I was scared, scared that you hated me for doing that to you. I was so scared, I thought that I lost somebody again, I put you through pain and I just-"

Her rambles stopped, her body suddenly being pulled into he warmth of another, strong arms surrounding her.

Yuri went frigid with shock, "I-"

"Shh, can we just stay like this." Youngjae mumbled.

Yuri only nodded, not denying the fact that she didn't mind. Something about the warmth felt familar, something about it made her heart beat increasingly.

Not until she looked up at the sky, she realised who he was, "You're that boy, from when I was younger."

A low chuckle came from Youngjae, smiling unknowingly to the girl, "You only ever noticed me in the rain showers."
