Kyan

"Be strong okay, Kyan?" She said while smiling. I don't know why but her smile is brighting up my day and making me brave enough to take the operation.

We've known each other for a couple of months and she really did her best to convince me to say yes in a heart transplant. But what really made me agree to this is..

Flashback

"Hi, Kyan!" She greeted me with a smile. "Hi."

She pouted, "You're such a snob!" She said that made me laugh. "Don't pout like that, you're ugly." I teased. I saw her forehead creased in annoyance as she roll her eyes at me.

"Whatever, Kyan. I'm pretty, you just can't see it."

I gave her my most genuine smile and said, "You don't know what can I see in you, Kai. You just don't know."

She smiled back at me after she heard what I said. "Kyan."

"Hm?"

"Can you do me a favor?"

I stayed silent so she'll continue.

"Please take the operation for me. In return, I have to fight this illness for you. Please, Kyan. Make yourself want to live longer. So we could spend more time together."

End of flashback

"Promise me that you'll stay with me until the operation ends, Kai." I said as I look at her eyes. Her eyes. It's my most favorite part of her entirety, for her eyes tells me what she truly feels.

As she looks back at me, I already knew that this girl will be that one. Cause I never felt this way with any other girl before. And I'm sure that this feeling will only be hers even if there are many other lifetime.

"I promise, Kyan. I'll stay with you until your operation ends. So fight for me, okay?" She said still smiling but I saw fear in her eyes. There's fear in me too so I intertwined our hands.

"I'll live longer for you, don't worry too much. And please don't be scared, you won't lose me. I promise." I said to reassure her then I saw a tear escaped her eyes. I wiped her tears and then smiled. "Get well for me, baby. So we'll spend the rest of our lives together."

She nodded while tears still rolling down her eyes. I held her hand tightly. We're both scared of what's going to happen. But we'll fight as long as we have each other.

"Sir Kyan, time for operation." Said the nurse as she entered my hospital room. "Ready?"

I just shook my head as an answer. I looked at Kai who's still in tears, "Stop crying, I can't leave you like this." I said. She then wiped her tears away.

"Just be back, okay? Live for me." She said as I smile and nodded. Her nurse went back to take her to her hospital room as I was assisted by the other nurses to the operating room for my operation.

I need to live. I have to. For she'll be waiting for me and I don't want her to wait in vain.
