Chapter 9: Cutie

-Jihyun POV-
Weekends are the best day for any students in the whole world. Who doesn't love it when you get to spend the day away from school and things related to it? For me, It feels like heaven of course. Plus if all you have to do is lay on your bed and sleep all day. Weew, that's awesome!
"Don't you have at least something to do other that laying on that sofa and watch tv? You're such a couch potato" My brother yelled at me from the kitchen doing whatever he is. Probably cooking lunch.
"Nope" I replied popping the p.
"Can you help help me then?" My eyes widen upon hearing his words. No no no no not this. Not again.
"Nooooo" I wrapped my body around the blanket ever more tighter like my life depends on it. "I'm not gonna go buy groceries again. The market smells so gross" I know that's the 'help' refers to. Because thats what he always ask for.
"Hyunnie yaah, please?" He begged with a cute voice.
"No" I glared.
"Ppleaaaase?"
"No"
"Awwee c'monnn"
"Nope"
"I'll buy you your favorite chocolate mint ice cream. Please?"
"No"
"Please. Or i'll tell uncle Kim to--"
"Okay okay where's the money I'll buy it right away!" He chukcles looking at me accepting his offer right away.
He knows so well that I'm really afraid of Uncle Kim.
Walking around and around the market just to find a cheap lobster is hard. Is there even a cheap thing here?! The smell here is so weird. I really hate it. It feels like i'm trapped in a room full of raw fish and seafood.
Honestly it's not so bad, like what you saw on tv's are the same but I'm just hate this kind of surroundings a bit.
"Jihyun?"
A familiar voice said my name behind me. Looking behind I saw Jimin alone with a plastic on his hand.
"Hey Jimin. What are you doing here?" I ask him. Is it only me or his face is turning red...?
"Aah, I'm buying some things my grandma asks me to. She's so lazy just even to walk here. How about you?" He whined. But somehow I find it awkward.
"Same for me althoughw it's my brother who did this to me" We laughed at the same situation we had. I thought he's the bad boy type but he's a nice grandson at home.
"Umm can you help me with something?" I asked him doing some eyes contact with him. I hope he will.
"Sure! Um i mean yeah, sure"
Yes! He will help.
"Do you know where can I find some cheap lobsters here?" He suddenly laughs making me go blank. Did i same something silly or what?
"Cutie, there's no cheap lobsters here. Mostly lobsters are expensive since it's hard to find. Especially big ones" He ruffles my hair like a kid.
Cutie? Hah. I'm not a cutie but thanks tho.
"Ah really? My brother told me to find the cheap ones and don't buy the expensives ones! Ugh. He didn't even tell me about this sea creature!" Suddenly I forgot that he's here and got mad like that infront of him. He just laughs.
"You're so cute but let me help you with choosing the right one" He pulled my hand gently, pulling me to someplace.
I don't know he had this gentleman side. Or this some of his playboy side?
"You seems like you're really good at doing this kind of thing" I said. Without realizing his hand still holding mine.
"Mmm, I always do this when I'm free. Since it's just me and my grandma well at least I have to help her" How far is the place he wants to go anyway?
"Where is your parents?"
"My parents died from a heli crash incident. So when they died, I lived with my grandma. I was four" He stops his walk, looking at me.
"I'm sorry" I apologized as he gave me a warm smile I never saw before.
"That's okay. I'm glad that I tell it to atleast someone who i really like. Let's go!" He grabbed my hand back.
Did I just heard that right? Anyone? Does he like me or what? Or maybe just somekind of wordplay?
"Here we are!" His voice get my senses back.
"Oh Jiminie! You're here!" A middle aged women greeted him as we came to her. And jimin greeted her back.
"And you bring your girlfriend along! Aigoo she is really pretty!" Jimin and I looked at each other before saying;
"No no! She's just my friend! I brought her because she wants to buy lobsters!" And the women just laughs and she helps me.
"Thanks for helping me earlier" After done with buying the things on my brothers 'what you have to buy' list he gave me, Jimin told me that he will walk me home but I kept on insisting that I'm okay hundred times but him being the stone head, I can't do anything but accept and get on his fancy car he had.
"My pleasure. If you need any help again, I'll be there. Of maybe you can call me" He looked at me, giving a wink. "Ah speaking of calling, mind if we exchange phone numbers?"
I looked at his tomato like face. "Yeah"
Seriously looking at him face wanna make me burst out laughing. It's red than any human's cheeks I've ever saw. Why is he even red like that?
Done with the exchanging number thingy, finally I arrived infront of my house front gate.
"You have a really big and pretty house. It's like a mansion" He said with an awe. That expression is the same expressiom when I saw this house for the first time from the same angle like him as well. If see saw the inside, he'll be even more amazed.
"Thanks again" I bowed my head slightly smiling at him.
"See you tommorow cutie! Have a nice day" He waved goodbye before driving off.
