(Third Person's P.O.V)

The blond haired guy took a sip of the coffee he ordered as he looked around his favorite café. Dark brown, wooden tables topped by a white vase, with roses, was spread out all over the place. Sweet, classical melodies filled the air. This shop had always been one of his favorites, it may be small and cute looking for some people, but to him it was perfect.

Feeling the homey vibe, the corner of his lips tugged into a smile. He really does like the shop's coffee and all the sweets he can buy in there. It was indeed a perfect place to pig out, especially with all the stress he was feeling because of a certain someone.

"Excuse me. May I sit with you?"

Kibum glanced up from his cup of coffee and looked at the guy who stood in front of his table. He has light brownish hair that was cut short at the back of his head, his bangs fell just right above his chinky eyes that turned into two slits when he smiled. And right at that moment, there was a goofy grin plastered on his face.

For the second time, the blond guy looked all over the place, confusion was completely visible in his face. The fact that there were lots of vacant tables where the guy can sit confused him. Why can't he just find an empty table? He asked in his mind and looked back to the guy.

"Sorry to sound rude, but as far as I can see, there are lots of other vacant tables where you can sit in. Why share one with me?" Kibum raised an eyebrow at him, making the other guy laugh.

Did I say something funny? This guy sure is weird.

"I know, but I really do want to sit with you." He answered as he gave the blonde guy another goofy smile of his. The latter couldn't help but find the guy's smile somewhat adorable.

Kibum heaved a deep sigh, contemplating whether he should let the other guy sit with him or reject his offer, After a few seconds of thinking, he just shook his head and gave up. "Okay. Go sit."

"Thank you." He muttered and sat at the empty chair beside him. "By the way, I'm Lee Jinki, but other people prefer calling me Onew. Call me whatever you feel like." He added, his smile widening.

"Am I required to tell you my name?"

Jinki chuckled. "It's actually completely up to you. But, I would really like it if you tell me your name."

It was his turn to chuckle. "Since you said you'll like it if I tell you my name, who am I to keep it from you? I'm Kim Kibum, though I'm usually called Key." Kibum offered him a smile and the other smiled back. His usual goofy one.

"You love this don't you?" The blonde almost choke on the coffee he was drinking because of Jinki's sudden question. If he wasn't careful enough he probably would have spat it all out.

What the heck?

"E-excuse me?"

Jinki laughed. "What I mean is, you probably love this place. Don't you?"

"How can you say so? We just met." He retorted, his brows furrowed into a frown.

"Well, to be honest, this wasn't the first time I saw you here. Actually, I would always take notice of you every time I come here. So, I just assumed that you love this place. That is if I'm not mistaken." He answered before he took a spoonful of his chocolate cake.

"Oh." Kibum mumbled stupidly, he felt his face warm up. He was actually speechless, What could you say when somebody just implied that he had always watched you from afar? Wouldn't that make you feel embarrassed?

Another smile crept up his face, his eyes turned into slits again. "You know, as much as I want to apologize for making this awkward for you, I'm starting to like the tint of blush on your face. You look adorable."

"Uh, thanks. I guess." He mumbled, his face tinted by a dark shade of red. The brunette scooted closer to him and his move made Kibum's heart beat a little faster. He didn't know that someone, other than Jonghyun, can do this to him. Or is it just because this is the first time someone was openly flirting with him?

Kibum looked directly at Jinki, only to regret doing that when he saw his chinky, dark brown eyes fixated at his chocolate brown ones, a beautiful smile still painted on his lips.

The younger one looked away from the older guy's gaze as his face started to heat up again.

God, was this guy serious? Is he honestly trying to flirt with me? A tiny voice in his mind asked.

A moment of awkward silence passed between them. Kibum couldn't help but take a sip of his coffee just to keep himself calm as the other guy continued eating his cake. After a few seconds, the silence was shattered by the older guy's laugh.

"Well, isn't this awkward." He said with a small chuckle, but Kibum could hear a hint of amusement in the guy's voice.

Yeah, right. I think he's actually enjoying this.

"If someone just step out, when you actually want to drink your coffee in silence, and he seems to be openly flirting with you, wouldn't you feel awkward too?" The blonde deadpanned, his face void of any emotion.

"To be honest, I'll feel good about myself."

"Eh?"

"I said, I'll feel good about it."

"Why do you say so?"

"You know, it is because someone made an effort to approach me. Isn't it nice having someone complimenting you? You don't even know how many times I wanted to approach and talk to you before." He confessed, letting out a small chuckle. It was like a bomb that exploded on the blonde guy's face. "It was a good thing that I finally did have the guts to do so."

Then his face suddenly dropped, it was as if he just did something and quickly realized it. "Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. I guess this is not really your thing, huh?"

It took Kibum a while to process the other guy's words, before finally it all registered in his mind. Jinki was really trying to flirt with him. Him, Kim Kibum, the guy that other people in his school find disgusting.

Him, the outcast.

"That's not really the case. It's just that no one's ever tried flirting with me before. It just doesn't feel right." The younger murmured.

The older guy frowned. "So, you're saying that nobody ever tried to hit on you before?"

Kibum shrugged his shoulders as he stared down on his hot drink. "Sort of. Yeah."

The brunette stared at the blonde for a few seconds before prompting both of his elbows on the table and resting his chin at the back of his palms. "No offense, but the guys in your school all sound stupid. Are they blind to now see how beautiful you are?"

He blushed because of what the other guy said, but then something suddenly hit him.

"How did you know that I swing in that direction?" the blonde demanded.

Jinki laughed, shrugging his shoulders as he ate the last piece of his cake. "I just guessed. It was another good thing that I was right."

"It is." Kibum said with a smile.

"It doesn't matter though. That fact won't actually bother me. I mean, everyone has different views in life."

Kibum smiled at the guy, he had encountered enough people, who thinks that being different is a sin, to last him an entire lifetime. That is the harsh truth. It was quite refreshing to meet other people like him and Taemin, proving that open minded people does still exist in the world he lives in.

"Hey, by the way, what school do you go to, Bummie-ah?"

The blonde couldn't figure out whether the flutter on his stomache came from the guy's question or if it was because of the way he called him. He quietly cleared his throat. "I'm a junior in Neul Parang High."

"Oh. I didn't know you're one year younger than I am."

"Really? What grade are you in and what school?"

Another goofy smile appeared on Jinki's face as he took a sip of his hot chocolate. "I'm actually a senior at Seoul International School."

"S.U.S? Wow, you must be really smart."

"I try to be."

Kibum couldn't help but shake his head because of the brunette's words. "Maybe you should try being humble sometimes, I heard that it can't seriously kill you."

"Well, I am just stating a fact." The guy said with a big grin.

"You know what, even though the start of our conversation was awkward, I have to say that it was actually nice meeting someone like you." The younger one muttered as he finished his remaining coffee.

"Aww, that's so touching, you cutie."

"Yah! Don't call me cutie."

"Why? I think that the nickname suits you, a lot."

Kibum pouted. "You can call me Key or Bummie. But never 'cutie'."

"But the name suits you, really! Especially when you pout your lips like that. You do look adorable, if you ask me." Jinki teased, chuckling at the younger guy's frowning face.

Kibum just heaved a deep sigh and shook his head in utter dismay. "Whatever floats your boat, Onew-hyung."

"No 'hyung'."

"But you're older than I am."

"But, we're friends now."

"You're still older."

"Call me oppa, then."

The blonde's eyes widened. "Yah! I won't do that."

Jinki laughed. "That's a shame.."

"Your weird."

"Thank you."

"I don't mean it in a good way." Kibum said, poking his tongue out at the older guy. The latter just laughed at the way he acted.

Their conversation was broken by the ringing of the brunette's phone.

"Looks like it's time for me to go, my classmate's already calling me." Jinki said, standing up from his seat. "See you again next time, Bummie-ah."

Kibum waved his hand at him. "See ya, Onew-hyung."

The guy waved back and started walking towards the café's entrance, but then he stopped and jogged back to where Kibum was still seating.

"What is it, hyung?" The blonde asked, confusion lacing his voice.

Jinki grinned, giving him his phone. "Your number."

Kibum shook his head, but still typed in his number on the guy's phone, giving it back when he finished.

"Thanks and see you again!" The other guy said with a grin, winking in the process before he went away, for real this time.

The blonde guy couldn't help but chuckle at the guy's actions, Despite of all of that, he was really a great guy.

And weird, very weird.

(Taemin's P.O.V)

"Aish..."

I heaved a deep sigh and stopped what I was doing. "Would you please stop pacing back and forth inside my room, Jonghyun-hyung? You're getting annoying by the minute, your grunting does really help. Totally does. " I said, sarcasm dripping all over my voice. "If you want to say something, just say. Okay?"

Jonghyun froze on spot, his face looked surprised, like he just realized something that he shouldn't. He let out a long sigh before collapsing on the bunk of my bed. "U-uh, how do say this, uhh..."

I sighed again, scooting my chair back and turning to look him in the face. "You know, hyung. If you're dying to say something, just out with it. Because if you haven't notice, I'm really busy with school works." I deadpanned.

I may have hated him a little because of what he did to Key-hyung, I couldn't stand the sight of him looking like a sad puppy. I couldn't change the fact that he was still my cousin and that he helped me before, a lot of times.

"C-can you help me with Kim Kibum?"

I stared at him, things started clicking inside my head. "And why should I? I thought you hate him?"

Jonghyun gave out another long sigh, grunting like I asked the most absurd question that he ever heard. "I don't hate him, Taeminnie. It's just that... I, uh..."

"It's just what?"

"It's just that,.." Another sigh. "I don't know. Okay? I don't know."

I paused, seeing the frustration and confusion all over his face. If I didn't know him, I would've thought that he's going mad. "But, you know that you've been a jerk to him, don't you?"

"Yeah. I know. That is the reason why I want you to help me apologize to him."

"You promise that you'll never hurt him again?"

"I didn't hurt him, I swear."

"Physically, you didn't. But, mentally? You did worse than beating him up. You all tore him apart."

He didn't answer, instead, he groaned and buried his face on his palms. From the looks of it, my cousin does really regret his actions. The question was, is it too late for him to apologize to Key?

"Tell me, Jonghyun-hyung. Why the change of heart?"

He looked up, his eyes blank. "I don't honestly know the reason, Taemin. All I know is I have to apologize to him. No matter how hard or no matter how long it takes for him to forgive me for what I did to him all these years."

He likes Key. I paused, contemplating what the tiny voice in my head said. I looked at him once again, seeing the regret and pain etched all over his face. A smirk started to creep out of my face. He's really starting to feel something for Key-hyung.

"Okay." I said, making him look straight at me.

"Okay what?" he muttered.

"Okay. I'll help you , though, I won't be the one apologizing. You should do it yourself." I answered, resting my elbow on my knees. "Key-hyung is a really nice guy, I'm sure he'll forgive you despite everything that you've done."

"Jinja? You sure he would forgive me?"

"I'm pretty sure he will."

Jonghyun-hyung smiled at me as he stood up from my bed. "I'm sorry about what I said to you that night, you know I don't really mean it that way."

I smiled back. "That's okay, hyung. I understand."

He grinned and started to walk out of my room, but before he could completely go out, he looked back to me. "Thank you, Taeminnie."

A playful smirk curved up my lips when he vanished from my sight. This is going to be interesting.

(Third Person's P.O.V)

Jonghyun couldn't help but smile as he walked out of Taemin's room.

He was really confused this morning about what he really felt when it came to Kibum. He knew he messed up, he messed up big time.

What he said to him that night was completely out of line, but the kiss that happened yesterday was much more of a jerk move. He shouldn't have done that. He didn't plan on doing that in the first place. Jonghyun just wanted to talk to him. But when he saw Key's lips that close he couldn't help but remember the way his lips tingled at the touch of the other's. And without a single thought, he kissed him. Just to test out if he'd feel that sensation again.

It was too late when he realized that he really didn't wanna know, the answer just revealed itself.

You like him. The tiny voice in his mind said. All this time, you like Kim Kibum.

He stopped in his tracks because of the things that he realized. How can he like Kibum if he doesn't swing that way? He's not gay, he doesn't want to be. He's just doing this because he knows that it's the right thing to do.

That isn't the case and you know that...

Jonghyun heaved a sigh of relief when his internal battle was cut short by the ringing of his phone. He quickly took it from his jean pocket and answered it.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Yah, Jonghyun-ah. Where are you?" I heard the guy on the other line say.

He's Choi Minho, my best friend and unfortunately, my cousin's ex-boyfriend. They broke up because of a reason that they can't tell me. Whatever it is, I don't plan on asking. I'm just glad that they remained friends.

"Hello to you too, frog face." I greeted him back. "I'm at home, what do you want?"

"Is Taemin there, dino boy?"

"Taemin, who? Your ex?" I teased.

"Jonghyun." The threat in his voice was obvious.

"Sorry, I'm just joking." I apologized.

"So, is Taemin there?"

I let out a soft chuckle before answering him. "He's here."

"Ah, thanks."

Minho hung up the call, making Jonghyun shake his head. Even though he was having some problems with his situation with Kibum, he's sure that Minho and Taemin's situation was far more complicated than his.

A/N: Kinda changed this chapter a little bit, but I'm actually happy of how this turned out in the end. I can say that this is the longest chapter that I ever wrote (though I haven't revised the other chapters, yet.) The thing is, I scrapped the old one, though not the whole thing. But many changes did happen.

Anyways, *throws confetti* Onew and Minho are finally here! XD Hope you'll enjoy this chapter~ If you have some questions that need answer, feel free to ask me~ ^u^
