Starlin rushed around the corner.
Ferin's monster has the paladins.
Something on the floor caught her eye.
Except for one.
She ran over and dropped to the floor beside the young man's body. Half of his chest plate was shattered to pieces, and there was blood everywhere.
Oh dear.
She patted his face.
"Kogane. Kogane."
He didn't respond. His breathing was very shallow.
This isn't good.
She lit up her hands, engulfing them in bright flames. She pressed her hands to the wound.
The pressure and heat made him cringe in his unconscious state, but Starlin wasn't burning him. She used her flames to heal the wound like she had been treating herself for years.
The blood flow stopped, the wound nearly completely healed.
As his eyes fluttered open, her ears flattened against her head.
"Find your leader. Avoid Ferin."
She took off down the corridor, leaving him behind to wake up.
She closed her eyes and concentrated, finding her communication point in a room on the Castle of Lions.
