Soccer
"Yo hyungs!" Jungkook, one of the most popular boys in school called out to his hyungs and they turned to look at the boy, "Let's play soccer! I'm kinda bored,"
"Sure maknae," Seokjin agreed along with the others, "Good idea,"
Not long, they started playing. As the popular boys they were, lots of students came to watch. Most of them were girls.
Since the game started, Hoseok kept looking at you, and yes, you noticed it but you shrugged it off.
You walked away from the bleachers to get your bag, which you left on the bench near the soccer field. When you got there, you grabbed your bag and slung it over your shoulder before walking towards Mindy, who was walking towards the bleachers.
She waved at you and you waved back. Suddenly, something hit your head with a huge impact that had cause you to hit the ground and faint. Your vision went blurry and the last thing you saw were 8 familiar faces, hovering over your head before everything turned black.
You woke up to see a barely familiar ceiling. You felt a sudden sting in your head which made you lay back down when you were supposed to sit up. You realized that you were in the school's clinic. You saw 7 familiar faces. One of them was Mindy along with six boys, which turned out to be Bangtan.
Mindy noticed you and immediately ran up to you. "Omo, Y/N! Thank goodness you're awake,"
The six boys followed suit and asked you if you were okay, you assured them that you were fine.
"What happened?" you asked while rubbing your forehead trying to ease the pain you're feeling.
"You got hit by the ball," Jimin explained.
"Sorry," all six of them apologized.
You smiled. "It"s fine," you assured, "...Who was the one who kicked the ball exactly?"
The six of them exhanged tensed looks. You repeated your question and asked Mindy this time.
"The only boy who's not here," Mindy said.
Your eyes widened. "H-Hoseok??" you blurted out, "He was the one who kicked that soccer ball??"
You had to admit, you had a small crush on the boy.
"Yes Y/N-ssi," Namjoon said making you sigh.
"Where is he?" you asked, earning a nudge from Mindy. She's the only one who knows about your little crush on Hoseok.
Taehyung sighed. "Hyung was so disappointed in himself that he didn't dtay here. He said he couldn't bear seeing you lying on the bed, unconcsious. He was the one who carried you all the way here though,"
You were flustered. Yoongi nodded. "He said that he couldn't
forgive himself if anything bad happened to you,"
You chuckled causing another sting in your head. "Ouch,"
Mindy sighed. "You got hit by the ball pretty hard. Not to mention that your head also hit the bench,"
You just nodded and continued rubbing your forehead. "You guys didn't answer my question. Where is he?"
All of them sighed. "At the field,"
You nodded and stood up, still bearing the pain. "Y/N-ssi!" Seojkjin called out, "You need to rest!"
"Ani!" you countered, "I need to see him!"
And off you went to the soccer field, still rubbing your forehead. There you saw, Hoseok. He was sitting on the middle of the field and to your surprise, he was crying.
"Dammit!" he cursed out loud, still unaware of your presence, "What if something happened to her? I never intended this to happen! When I saw her head bleed earlier, I wanted to kill myself. She'll never forgive me! Now, I have no chance with the girl I like! Curse you soccer ball! Stupid ball! Curse you Jung Hoseok!"
You couldn't just stand there and watch him blame himsrlf like that. You ran up to him and hugged him, much to his surprise.
"Y-Y/N-ssi??"
You broke the hug and looked up to him. "You're an idiot. Don't blame it all to yourself and the innocent ball," you chuckled, "Look, it was partially my fault too. If I had been alert, this wouldn't happen to me,"
Hoseok shook his head. "But, if I had been cautious on where I kicked that ball, this wouldn't have happened to you Y/N," he countered, looking so sad, "Sorry"
Before you could say anything, you felt another sting in your head. You winced and rubbed your forehead. Hoseok felt even more guilty and planted a soft kiss on your forehead, which caught you off guard.
He realized what he did and coverrd his face before looking away, "Sorry Y/N! You're just too cute!"
You giggled at his reason. Somehow, the pain was gone because of that kiss. "Thank You Hoseok,"
He looked at you, confused. "Huh? Why are you thanking me after what I did to you?"
You didn't answer his question but instead, you rested your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes. At first he was taken aback by your actions, but he did the same eventually.
"Seems like we interrupted the moment,"
Both you and Hoseok turned to look at the people behind you. Mindy was there, along with the six other boys.
"Yeah, you did," Hoseok said before rolling his eyes making the others laugh.
"Yah hyung," Jungkook called out, the soccer ball in his hands, "You told me to get rid of this ball, should I do it?"
Hoseok chuckled. "Nahh. Thanks to that ball,Y/N and I... well... as for now..."
You cut him off with a word that made his heart flutter even more, "Official,"
