"Goodbye mom. I love you." I said, while kissing her on her forehead.
"Bye daddy!" I gave him a huge bear hug and just waited there like I was going to get a response...I knew it wasn't possible.
Just then a man in all black came up to me and said "Miss, Your aunt sent me here. I'm supposed to take you to the airport." I wasn't ready to leave. It's been six months, since the car wreck and my parents still haven't woke up.
"Alright I'm ready to go now." I started to walk away, as tears filled my eyes and started to roll down my cheeks. The beeping of those annoying monitors slowly faded away. We finally go to the airport, it seemed like to took years to get there. I waved goodbye to the driver and started off towards my gate. I was only sitting there for a few minutes before they started boarding the plane. I trudged over to the desk with my ticket in one hand and my suitcase being pulled by the other. I handed my ticket to the smiling lady behind the desk. Right when she scanned my ticket her smile vanished and she said "There seems to be a problem with your ticket, young lady." Oh great. Just what I needed.
"We have apparently double booked the seat that you are in," she said. REALLY?!
"But, we have an open seat in first class, and since we have made such a terrible mistake we will upgrade your ticket for free."
"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed. Thank goodness that was over. Now I just have to make it through this flight. I was not looking forward to this flight. I HATE flying and to make matters worse my flight is 15 hours long. From Arcadia, California to Sydney, Australia. I finally got to my seat and plopped down. I noticed there was a boy about my age sitting next to me. He looked over at me and gave me a quick smile and I smiled right back. He was pretty cute...with his gorgeous aqua eyes and his perfect blonde hair.
"Hello there," he said with a cute little accent. Maybe this flight won't be so bad after all.
