A Love Like No Other

Chapter 6

DING DING

The annoying sound of an incoming text woke me up. I reached for my phone which was on my night stand. Suddenly, my eyes were stinging from the light of phone.OW. After my eyes adjusted, I realized the message was from Cody.

Cody- Morning beautiful (: I hope I didn't wake you. I was wondering if you had anything planned for today?

Me- Morning (: and you sorta did...but no worries I forgive you! I don't have anything to do.

Cody- whoops! haha good. I'll be at your house in like 10 minutes.

Me- Okie dokie (:

Cody- See you then, Love.

Well, I guess I should probably get up...I threw my blankets off of me and darted off to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and straightened my hair really fast. I put a few swipes of mascara on, and that was it.  Then, the doorbell rang. I ran down stairs and opened the door still in my pajamas.

"Hello, Angel."

"Hey! I got to finish getting ready...so come on!" I grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs to my room. I went into my walk in closet and shut the door. I changed into a light purple v-neck, dark skinny jeans, white keds, and a thin brown belt. I walked back out and saw Cody just sitting on my bed. I walked over and grabbed my glasses, not wanting to bother with putting contacts in. Then, I sat down on the bed next to Cody.

"Are you ready now?"Cody said while standing up and offering me his hand.

"Yes" I grabbed his hand. Right when I did, he pulled me really close, to where our lips were almost touching. He leaned in and kissed me, there goes those fireworks and sparks all over again. I will never get tired of that feeling. I wonder if he felt it too? He pulled away and just smiled at me. He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I swear our hands fit perfectly together.He must've been thinking the same thing, because he said:

"You know, your hand fits perfectly into mine."

"I was just thinking the same thing." I told him. He bent down and kissed my head. We walked out of the house to his car. Cody sat next to me in the back and put his arm around me. I snuggled into his chest. It seemed like we were in the car forever. Finally, the car stopped and Cody jumped out to open the door for me. When i got out, I saw a giant amusement park.

"HOLY CRAP" I screamed. Cody chuckled.

" I'm glad you like it!" We immediately started riding rides. When we decided to stop and get something to eat, I saw a photobooth. I dragged Cody in and wwe started taking pictures. The first picture was us making CRAZY faces. The second was us laughing at our crazy faces. After it took the second piicture, Cody stopped laughing and just stared into my eyes. Then, the camera shuttered and that was the third picture. Cody didn't seem to notice. He started leaning in. At first he just brushed his lips upon mine and smiled. Then, he pushed his lips onto mine. I swear everytime we kiss the fireworks in my head get brighter and louder. I felt Cody lick my bottom lip for entrance, which I obviously gave to him...I'd be crazy not to. Oh my goodness. My whole body was tingling now. I'm pretty sure my head was about to explode, because of the fireworks going off.  The kiss kept getting more and more passionate. I didn't want this moment to end, but I knew it had to.  I pulled away for air and Cody whined...

"Sorry! You took my breath away...literally!" I said. Cody started laughing.

"Well I tend to have that affect on the ladies..."I rolled my eyes and playfully slapped his arm.

"Whatever!"

"You know it's true!" He said while putting his arm around my neck and walking out of the photobooth. I grabbed the strip of pictures. We looked so cute. (:

"TO THE FERRIS WHEEL!" Cody yelled randomly and ran off, dragging me behind him. We got on and started going around really slowly. Right when we were at the top, the ride stopped. It was so beautiful up here.

"It's beautiful up here." I said in awe of the view.

"Yes, but not as beautiful as you." He replied. So cheesy, but with his accent, I definitely didn't care. I looked up at Cody, who had his arm around me, and pressed my lips against his. It was just as passionate as the kiss we had at the photobooth. This time he pulled away and we just smiled at each other. The feelings I had were indescribable.

I think I'm in love with Cody.
