the shower was a good place to hide
you can't hear the phone beep
or attend the pleads and please
no one can hear you cry
or try to attempt hugs and talks
it still is
but today i'm not hiding
i'm just sitting in silence
and there's that spark of hope
in my heart
i was starting to forget
and i'm getting used to it still
i don't want that feeling
but the heart wants
what the hearts wants
and i just don't want it
to get broken again
cause if it does
the spark won't come back
and i'll forget what happiness felt like
even if it just lasts a moment
