"Yes I did! I was in abroad and I just came India few days back" I said, hastily and his eyes widened
"Sh!t! Manik run away! Else Nandini will come to you!" Run away? Why? First it was Cutie, and now her dad! Damn!
I'm not gonna run away! Why should I run away when I haven't even done something wrong!
I didn't do anything wrong to Nandini no.. Did I..??!
"But uncle.."
"Go Manik. Nandu's evil spirit fury has no boundaries. She can do anything!"
And again Nandu..?!!!
"Wait! Nandu?!" I raised my eyebrows at him. "Is she Nandini?" No it can't be her, no please!
"Yes, Nandini! My Nandu! And you're the one whom she used to--"
"Used to what? Please say it uncle. There can be a misunderstanding right? I mean, the name 'Nandu' can be of anyone!" I said, tears springing to my eyes already and he shook his head
"Come with me" He dragged with me out and we both entered his house! It was much clean. We both entered Nandini's room! He switched on the lights.
I could get a clearer view of her bedroom and it wasn't dusty! Surprisingly; the entire house was clean!
He marched towards the table on which some books, notes were placed. I watched his move, I was bewildered, as well as nervous! I was going to know the real thing, finally!
"You'll get your real answer" He said and with that, he handed me a notebook. It looked kinda similar to me. It was like a different kind of notebook and I saw this somewhere! But where??..

Darn it! That's mine!!!
"That's mine!!" I exclaimed-yelled, in amusement! But how did this came to him?
No wait! This was placed here in Nandini's room, which means.. she kept it to herself!
"Yes..so you do remember! I thought you won't!" He chuckled and I knew he was being sarcastic
"Yes I remember! But how did this come to Nandini?" I was beyond confused
"Try to remember Manik. Firstly, remember where and when did you lost it?!"
Okay I lost this notebook long time back! How am I supposed to remember?
"Just remember the days when you met.. Nandu."
Nandu!
Flashes of my childhood played in my mind. I closed my eyes, trying my best to remember!
"Hey stoppp!! Leave him!" I was being beaten by some boys around. I was probably 7 years old and they were elder than me. I could say, I was returning back from school and the boys were bullying me on the street, when Nandu stopped them! She came with cops and the boys were about to run but thankfully, the cops grabbed them
"You jerks! Don't you dare trouble Manik again!" She showed them a finger while glaring at them. My eyes were still closed and a smile crept on my face.
She was looking so cute and her eyes..so pretty! She was 2 years younger than me.
Well, she was my Nandu! We used to meet up very rarely in school. We weren't very close enough and I hardly know her full name! I just heard some of her classmates calling her 'Nandu'
Tbh, I already had some feelings for her..
Love at first sight?
No!
It was kinda weird though, I was still young and falling in love in this young age, doesn't make sense, I think!
"Aww, you're name is Nandu right? Nandu loves Manik. Nandu loves Manik." They kept on singing, as the cops took them away.
I could noticed a blush on her face!
Damn...I still miss her!
"How are you?" She searched for any injuries in my body "You shouldn't let them beat you na! See, they were bullying you! Next time, don't let them beat you okay!" She was scolding me, making a pout
"I'm fine" I said as she helped me to get up from the ground.
"I won't leave them! What they did with me, I'll do the same with them!" I said, gritting my teeth
My fist clenched,
"Son..are you alright?" I heard the voice of uncle but I kept my eyes shut!
"It's okay. See the cops took them away now, the bad boys will be punished! And no matter how much a person treat you bad, you have to treat them well because you're not like them" Ahh.. Nandu! She was small but yet so mature!
Next I remember I just went away, leaving her alone.
Argh! Kinda rude of you Manik Malhotra!
"Manik!" I heard her loud shriek which made me startled and I immediately opened my eyes.
"Hey son! What happen? Your eyes were closed! Are you alright?"
I was still trying to figure out what did I just saw?! And I remember it was then only when I lost my notebook!
"Uncle I--I remember Nandu!" My cheeks were wet already! "She was so cute and I--I miss her!"
"Son, the girl, Nandu, whom you're talking about is--" He took a deep breath for a moment
Was my guess, right? No, please no!
"She's Nandini!" Crap!!! No!!
I fell on my knees, tears constantly flowing down my cheeks. I lost her! How did I not recognize her?! Damn!!
I opened a page of the notebook and found a sketch of her which I'd drawn a long time back! And she still kept it with her!
"She wanted to return it back to you but you left India! She was disheartened! She used to tell me about you, Manik. She used to stare at this picture till late! She'd perhaps considered you more than a friend but that time, she was young and I didn't took it seriously." I was still in a state of shock while he continued
"When time passed, her age increased so her feelings towards you became more strong! She was in love with you Manik!" My eyes widened so did my heartbeats quickened!
That Someone Unknown was Nandini Murthy means Cutie!
Cutie is my Nandu!
"I lost her uncle.." I sobbed-whispered
"Son, now bygones are bygones!" He kneeled down to me "We can't do anything about it. But now we have to! Nandini's evil spirit won't leave you. Go away"
She won't leave me! She won't! But I won't give up either! I won't run away!
All of a sudden, my phone buzzed! It was a message
"This is your headmistress. Come to the school library immediately!" Library? At this time?! Duh. It was already 9 pm! How could she called us at---
Wait..! Something was wrong!
Seriously wrong!
Sh!t!
"Uncle, I've to leave for school now!" I said as I got up and he followed my move
"At this time?" He looked equally baffled.
"Yes. I have to! Grandpa will come here, please show him the body of Nandini. I have to save the lives which are at risk and I guess.. this gonna be tough for me!" I said hurriedly, moving out from the house with the notebook in my hand.
Nandini..
I have to stop her anyhow!
Writer's Pov
Few minutes ago...
The headmistress had come to school to take some important files with her. As soon she got it, and was making her way out of the administration office when the lights went off on its own!
"Sh!t" She cursed and carefully made her way to the exit door but it was locked!
She was trapped!
"Ma'amm....." She heard a voice.
"Who's.. who's it?" She quivered as she asked and now she could hear a loud laughter
"Aww, how could you forget me ma'am?" She turned around and found a shadow of a girl
"Stop scaring me! Student, who are you? I am your head-mistress so you better stop this bullsh!t!" She screamed at her, unaware of the fact that she was none other than, Nandini Murthy!
"Ma'am, I'm your favourite student, Nandini Murthy." Her eyes widened, her lips trembled when..
"Hello ma'am" That was all she said as She turned to face the headmistress
"Aaaaahhhh....." She screamed to her loudest...

Here all the students of the hostel had got the message! They made their way to the school
Manik was running to the school, as fast as he could!
"Where's ma'am? Where's she?" He asked, panting heavily as he entered the library. He could see all the students of his class, present there!
"I don't know. She messaged us to be here!" One of the student said casually. Little did they knew that they'd marched to their own death!
"Darn it! We have to get out of here! C'mon!" Manik screamed and the students looked at him with weird expression. He knew something was wrong! He knew Nandini was here!
"Hurry up! Get out of here!" He pushed the students towards the door and alas, the lights went off!
"What's wrong?" The students asked.
"Guys! The door is not opening!" One of the boys said, trying to open the door of the library
"Hey.. look there!" A girl pointed at a shadow. They could smell gasoline!
They saw their headmistress was spreading gasoline all over the floor!
Manik looked deeper to get her glance in the dark. She marched forward, the entire library was on silent!
She changed her avatar and now everyone could see who she was!
"Nandini..!" All said in unison while Manik was blank! How would he save them now? Who would help him?
"Yes.. Nandini! You ignored it all when you all knew what was going on! They were bullying me but still you guys stayed mum!" Her voice carried aggression, her eyes spittting fire!
She light the lighter and everyone was quivering due to fear!
"Don't do this Nandini. Look we know we did wrong. We are sorry!" All said, crying. Manik gulped and moved a little forward
"Cutie can you hear me? Listen--"
"I'm not Cutie!" She snapped at him, and he stopped at his place "And now everybody should die!" She let the lighter fall,
"No!!" The students closed their eyes. They knew that now it was now their end!
But before it could touch the ground, someone took hold of it!
But who?!
At the same moment, Manik's grandpa was doing his job! He and his friend, was trying their best in making the peace still! They decided to burn her body in the garage itself!
And as her soul roams in this garage and had considered it as her home, so they had make a desicion to burn the entire garage too along with the other dead bodies! So it could be more easier for the demon to go away.

"Cutie!" Manik whispered! It was her!
"Stop it now!" Yes, it was Cutie ! The innocent spirit!
"Did you forget it? The way they all treat you. You forget it all?" The revengeful spirit screamed at her and she shook her head in a no
"They didn't do anything wrong!" She said
"Ofcourse, they did! When you were being bullied, weren't they laughing at you? Weren't they teasing you? Try to remember. Those horrible things, they did to you! Did you forget it all?"
"No. Stop it. Stop it!!!" Cutie palmed her ears, not being able to hear anymore. She was the innocent spirit and weak too!
"You suffered because you're weak! But I am not!! Now, move away!" She pushed her away, she instantly vanished from her place!
"That's enough!" Manik rushed to her and pushed her. Both landed on the floor.
Manik moved and stared at her. It was now the headmistress! Means the spirit had got out from her body! But the problem wasn't solved yet!
"Everybody spread out!!!!!" He yelled aloud, and all the students spread apart. He knew the spirit had entered in one of the student's body!
He moved ahead and stared at each and every student's eyes but he couldn't see the demon eyes!
"Am here" They all heard a sound from behind. It was Sunaina! The one whom Nandini had saved from the bully but she didn't saved her back when she needed her support!
Manik's gaze was glued on her. He moved little closer to her and could see Nandini! Her eyes carried so much hatred!
But Manik knew what he should do! He had to stop her, anyhow! He showed her the notebook!
"Nandu..!" He said with a faint smile and her gaze moved to the notebook and she melted instantly!
She left Sunaina body and marched forward to Manik.
Sunaina somehow, rushed to her classmates. She was damn scared though
Manik could now see his Cutie! Manik was fearless while the other students gathered together, holding each others hand!
"I'm sorry for not recognizing you earlier, Nandu." He mumbled and Nandini smiled back at him
"Manik, I was going to return the notebook back then..I couldn't because you transferred!" Her voice was low, she was weeping!
"I know! I remember everything! I'm sorry!" He said in guilt. He so wanted to hug her tight and wished if he could make everything back to normal!
She shook her head, still smiling. She gave him back the lighter! He took it but just when he was about to pulled his hand back, the revengeful spirit appeared! She held back his hand!
Manik tried his best not to give up but the demon's grip was more strong!
This time it was double! The revengeful and innocent spirit were together where one was trying to let go Manik's hand while the other wasn't willing to!
"Noo" Her voice echoed in the library and again, the fear of the students were at its peak!
"If something happens then remember, you still have that knife!" Manik remembered the words of his grandpa but how could he kill his Nandu?! He never wanted to kill her but instead wanted her to go away on her own!
"No" The innocent one, purposely hugged Manik and at the same time, She removed the knife from his blazer's pocket and stabbed that through her own chest!
There came her loud shriek! She was already a spirit but that special knife had some super powers, which literally hurt her!
At the same time, Manik's grandpa burned the entire garage along with the dead body!
There was a complete silence in the library, for a moment!
"Nandini..what did you do--!" Manik mumbled, holding her. He was shocked, hurt! She was crying badly so was He!
"Bye Manik" It was now time for her to leave
"Nandini.." He cried! His tears had no stop!
"Don't--don't go" He held her close, not willing to leave her! "I want to talk but.. I don't know what to say!" He said
"Manik it's okay, shh!" She rubbed his back as she coud still hear his sobs "It's time! I have to go!" She whispered back as he pulled apart.
"Bye..." She said, giving him a warm smile. She moved back, step by step. His eyes were still glued on hers! Soon her figure was out of sight...
And He knew that was Her End! THE END!
