Safe in my body
Eyes open slowly, a yawn comes on huge. Hair in a disarray across my face, than I remember. Bolt upright in my bed giving me a head rush. Clammy hand to my forehead I breath in deeply, no new body. Old comforting safe body. I am not a cold, heartless, soulless creature. I am a caring loving human being, that has normal hands, not icky clawed ones. Look to my right, my windows open, that explains the cold, im on the floor, and that explains the falling feeling.
My hands! I glanced down quickly. No! those things, they weren’t even hands. They were in the shape of hands but they were white, unnaturally white, long sinuous fingers. That were clawed, and they itched to get around that little jays body and drink up all the music coming from inside.
But, why?
